The pharmacist says "Oh, I can see why she must need this medication" regarding an anti-depressant. I'm so upset, I can't even put it into words. It wasn't the only comment like that, but it was the worst in my opinion. CVS really needs to either close this location or at least let the people working December 30, 2024 at 5:30 pm go. I have done all of my prescriptions with CVS for years and I may re-evaluate that after my experience. I've certainly never expected to be insulted at a pharmacy before. Wow.

Upon my request to the cashier/technician I am told to stand aside and made to wait. The pharmacist approached and immediately began explaining why, at her discretion she would not be selling me syringes. I told her I was a pharmacist, showed her my properly labeled testosterone prescription from a competitor, and my pharmacy license and drivers license: not budging in her arrogance I told her syringes can be sold without a license, without a prescription and to anyone over 18yo. She still refused to accommodate my request. I was filling prescriptions and selling syringes before she was born. Her lack to professionalism to help a patient has become systemic among retail chain pharmacists. Selling syringes when legally able to do so when there is a legitimate need should be automatic. Is it laziness, lack of empathy or stupidity that a pharmacist refuses to acknowledge when they are wrong and continues to deny patient care?

You need to call them to check if it ever came in and when it does it will take another day to fill. There's always an issue with insurance and God forbid the pharmacist can't interpret the instructions properly, then it goes into we will call the Dr. and a week can go by before you end up calling Dr yourself. The staff seems to walk around aimlessly chatting with each other and not helping customers. They deserve zero stars. And. for all that you get to pay a price higher than you can get at most other pharmacies. It's a real mess.
