After stopping by CVS drive thru to pick up my medicine. I was greeted by Grace Ann, the pharmacy technician. She was very polite and friendly. After requesting my prescription, it turned out my medication was going to be a bit pricey. She was very patient and helpful and guided me to use the cvs discount and saved me money. Your dismissive attitude of workers in the Pharmacy is horrible. (5151 Belle Terre Palm Coast, FL) Attempted to pickup a Script since called in at 2pm. 8 calls & 3 non caring employees later.... we'll have it ready at 8pm... so we get there at 8, and oh maybe 8:30 or so... 3+ hrs to fill a simple script & it not Ready yet. I didn't realize they took so long to fill prescriptions, especially when they're supposed to be 24hrs. A prescription was sent yesterday around lunchtime and I hadn't heard anything (I used to get text notifications when my meds were ready) so I called to speak with a pharmacist. They said it would be another two hours. Fast forward the rest of the evening and I called first thing this morning and it's still being worked on. Not sure why it's taking them so long, but I'm glad the medication wasn't for a life or death situation. read more

CVS is such a huge conglomerate. Why can't they hire enough people so they don't have to close for lunch! This is absurd. I get about seven prescriptions monthly. They are constantly out of one of them so I can get some of my prescriptions in a different pharmacy. CVS told me that I must have all my prescriptions at their pharmacy or I can no longer fill any of them there! Some may agree with CVS, others won't but here's what my 5-year-old son and I just experienced at this CVS. *I'm posting my letter to CVS as my review and experience, also I'm not in or from San Francisco but Yelp is saying I am* After decades of being a very loyal CVS customer, going back to my first 48 years growing up in Rhode Island, as well as since moving our family to Palm Coast, FL several years ago. Unfortunately, my letter today is not a complimentary letter in the least. My 5-year-old (5 y/o) son and I just had a very, in-my-opinion uncalled for interaction with your pharmacist on duty at the "CVS Pharmacy at 5151 Belle Terre Parkway, Palm Coast, FL 32137 at 1130 +/- a few moments; my apologies I did not get her name, she's been there for several years. My previous interactions with her have been positive. Whilst at the register to pick up our daughters' prescription as well as pay for another $30 worth of products; our 5 y/o son noticed that the electronic thermometer on the counter was the same one we use at home, which makes sense as we purchased the unit from CVS. I said to him "that's for taking your temperature when you're sick, or to see if you might have The Chinese Virus." Within seconds the pharmacist was standing at the counter telling me "you cannot talk like that in here." Quite frankly I was not even sure what she was talking about at first, I know I had not used any foul language; then I realized it was because I had said "Chinese Virus." My reply "was why can't I say Chinese Virus it's what they call it on many news channels?" She replied, "if you keep talking like that you won't be welcome in this store" to which I said, "OK I'll take our business elsewhere." As I am paying for the items purchased, I asked "I was watching the news this morning and they were talking about the South African Strain, can I say that?" Her immediate reply was "where do you want me to transfer your prescriptions too?" I replied, "don't worry I'll take care of it." My voice was never raised, nor was any foul language used at anytime during this interaction. A private conversation between myself and my son is none of her business, regardless of if she overheard what I said to him or not, and or if she personally doesn't like what many call this virus. Not only will I be taking our family of sevens business (2 adults and 5 children) elsewhere after decades of being a very loyal customer; I will be vocal amongst my friends and family about this experience. read more

I used their online photo service then received an email notice that my photos were ready. Went to the store, there was nobody at the photo counter after a 5 minute wait. I asked the front cashier if anyone could help me in the photo center and she said no, there won't be anyone until tomorrow? Really? Tomorrow? This is not a way to run a business. Luckily I didn't pay for my photos first. Sadly, they have lost all of my future business and my family's business as well. read more

I just spent 45 minutes and two separate consecutive calls trying to get through to them on the phone about my prescriptions. Someone kept picking up the line and hanging up again to get the line to stop beeping on their end. I would call and complain to the manager but THEY WON'T ANSWER THE PHONE. I've already called the corporate once after witnessing a pharmacy tech be incredibly rude to an elderly woman. I will be switching to another pharmacy ASAP. read more

I'm extremely happy with this particular CVS. Its clean! The staff of always greeting you. It's rare to go to a pharmacy and everyone is smiling. Even if they are faking it they are still doing their job and making me happy by being happy! No one likes a rude pharmacist and or cashier. So I'm thankful for the smiles!! I have been using this pharmacy since 2003. I couldn't ask for a cleaner, more pleasant establishment to fill my prescriptions. I also purchase other items in the store such as Hallmark cards, beauty supplies, etc. The employees are always very helpful and willing to go out of their way for you. read more

So this place is open 24 hrs a day. Last night I had an exposed nerve on a tooth that is scheduled for removal tomorrow. I go into the store in extreme pain. Find the product I need an go to the pharmacist to open the package. She refuses to help me. She won't give me anything to get it open. Tells me to buy a pair of scissors???? Really??? Moved from Texas. One quick stop at the pharmacy and they had all my Rx's transferred to here. Phone call next day that all Rx's were filled and ready for pickup. Fast and easy for a change. If all CVS stores are like this, the others won't make it! read more

Pharmacist Bernard at the CVS on Belle Terre Pkwy in Palm Coast is rude, unprofessional, disrespectful and unfortunately thinks he's God b/c he will make the decision if you are a drug addict or not based on what your doctor has prescribed. He withholds your medication w/o letting you know that you won't be getting it and meanwhile you're not able to feel better b/c you're waiting for your meds that will never be ready. He refuses to call the doctor's office and will refuse to dispense the medication just b/c he's "not comfortable with it" or he has "an issue" with it. When you call the corporate office to complain, they tell you they cannot force him to call your doctor to verify the medication and why it was ordered for you. Using this pharmacy is detrimental to your health! Look on their website and you will see that there are others who he has done the same to. Too many bad reviews for a place that is supposed to help you. He also has no idea about HIPAA laws and privacy when he is accusing an innocent person of being an addict. read more

I have been using this CVS Pharmacy for many years and never encountered a problem. One day recently I was there to pick up a prescription I had called in to be refilled. I was not told that they were out of the pills and expected to pick up the renewed prescription. I was informed when I got there that they did not have the pills and I had to try a different CVS. I asked them why I wasn't informed that they could not fill my prescription. They had no answer and just said, "WELL, I'M TELLING YOU NOW." I had been shopping the CVS at the corner of OKR and PCP, in palm coast, fl. I shopped there when it was next to the publix where hobby lobby is. since it moved, the service has worsened over time. I had been a long time shopper. last visit, I got a robo call to tell me my 2 prescriptions were ready. called later in the day to ensure the info was correct, as I had problems in the past. when I arrived I was told there was only 1 script, as the second one, which was an opioid, had been pulled by one of the pharmacists. I was told to go to another line. I did so. while waiting I queried the pharmacist what was happening. he professed not to know. he told me to sit on a bench and wait while my prescription was prepared. What? I was told 2x that 2 scrips were ready. I WILL NOT SIT. I WILL STAND HERE UNTIL I GET MY SCRIPT. almost immediately my script appeared as if by magic. there is something very, very wrong, when someone must make a scene in order to get customer service. customers r pushed around because the staff r inept. who was the flake who took my script out of the box? never did find out. I will never use CVS again. I already signed up w/another pharmacy. I know I am not the only disgruntled customer who no longer frequents your store. remember KMart was once #1. not anymore, bye bye CVS. read more

Walking in to this CVS was a breath of fresh air. We were visiting Palm Coast on vacation and my husband needed a couple of prescriptions filled because he became ill while on vacation and needed to go to urgent care. Needless to say, not the best trip, but the folks here did lessen my troubles. We tried to fill the scripts at Walgreens only for them to tell me our insurance was not accepted in the state of FL and the scripts would be very expensive, so I went to CVS and the pharmacist, Louis took care of me. He quickly figured it out that my husband is the spouse on the insurance and not the primary. Louis told me it would be a 30 min wait, but he pleasantly surprised me and filled them within 10 or so mins. Then I needed to go back to CVS a couple of days later and had another great experience. This time it was with the pharmacist, Julie. Thanks for the little note on my son's prescription telling us to enjoy our vacation. Little did you know it was a vacation from he** but your sweet message brightened my day, so thank you again! I wish we lived in Palm Coast or at a minimum I wish the staff of the CVS in our neck of the woods was as awesome as you all are! read more

Staff are not very helpful. They don't offer Shingles vaccines. Overrall, not impressed.
