My GSD was known to have behaviors such as fear aggression and separation anxiety but their staff made him feel very welcome. I brought him in muzzled the first time to meet the place as I feared he would bit the staff, however, they requested I didn't muzzle him on his first time staying. To my surprise, not only did he not bite any of the staff, but he would also let himself be pet by all the care takers and play with them. I'm truly thankful for these guys.

Prices have continued to rise until a bath and cut for my 30 lb dog cost $115! I always schedule with the same groomer, Elaina, as she does an excellent job and I like the consistency for my pup. Recently I was leaving on a trip and my 89 year old mom requested a grooming first as it was needed. Elaina wasn't available so I scheduled with another groomer. That groomer called and canceled the appointment saying she couldn't work on another groomer's client. I explained the circumstances but she would not budge. I had to leave a dirty, shaggy pup with my mom. When I came home her hair was matted from being too long. She was scooting on the carpet with poop stuck to her long fur. And my pup was trying to chew her nails back herself! I've been a customer for 3.5 years. This was unacceptable. They put themselves before the needs of the pets.

She assured us our cat would have air conditioning in the small outbuilding she used for cats (however it was shut off when we arrived but she promised to make sure it stayed on while they were there) as well as regular visits from the owner and cage cleanings. Looking around the yard, it was covered in dog feces and we both had a funny feeling but we stupidly ignored it. We returned after our trip to find our cat as well as their bedding, soaked in urine with feces all over the floor, the AC completely shut off in the sweltering heat. In additon, food and litter were scattered across the bottom of the kennel (obviously it hadnt been cleaned, likely at all during her stay) and a traumatized cat. She also charged us more than we were quoted.

The exercise area is a shaded huge yard with lots of grass and it even has a fire hydrant. Pick up and drop off were very profesionally handled and every question answered. I took his favorite brand of food and his dish and he was a pretty happy pooch when I picked him up. I was having surgery and the staff and owners were very understanding and helpful when my schedule needing to flex a bit. I recommend them and would trust them again unreservedly to take care of my buddy.

Our Italian Greyhound, "Sophie", passed over the rainbow bridge on Tuesday. Cascade Veterinary had…read morediscovered cancer throughout her body. We looked for a service that would come to our home and anesthetize Sophie while we held her. We found Nicole Vega of Hummingbird Veterinary who came promptly. She answered all our questions and offered all of the other end-of-life services that might be required. After anesthetizing Sophie, she lined up a cremation service, source for an urn with inscription, and took Sophie with her to follow through on all those services. Dr. Vega was thorough and compassionate at every step of the process. She was thoughtful enough to create a clay medallion with Sophie's foot prints impressed in it (see pic). It turns out that Dr. Vega is well known and highly regarded in this area. She substitutes for other veterinarians when asked. We've decided to take advantage of the preventative care service she offers. Her philosophy of "an oz. of prevention is worth a lb. of cure" makes excellent sense in a time when other veterinarians are scheduling their services one to two months out. Her services to us were 5-Stars!

I feel very fortunate Dr. Vega was available for us - she was so organized, communicative, and professional from the first email communication until her departure from our home. I was really impressed with her calm demeanor, that it was important to her that we were all as comfortable as could be before moving forward, and that we had all our questions and concerns addressed. Dr Shawna Bais has been so calm and reassuring when I'm feeling worried or stressed about something wrong with my pet. I actually heard a story from a friend about how he and his wife had taken their cat to several vets in town and felt they were all dismissive until they came here and Shawna was the first vet that listened and cared and helped them with the cat. I had to smile when they told me the story because I felt the same way when I came here. She heard me. She cared. And she has taken wonderful care of my puppy. Tonight was really the moment that solidified all this for me. Long story short, I emailed and called after hours. Late at night. On a weekend. And guess who looked at my emailed pictures and called me back? I could have cried in gratitude. She was so reassuring, gave me helpful suggestions and wasn't at all upset with me for potentially spoiling her time off. Over and over I'm thankful Shawna is our vet. She's such a blessing!

I called to ask about spaying a cat and who ever answered couldn't give me any info. Just kept saying they were booked. I asked how much it would be and he didn't know because there's additional charges but that there was a waiting list. I said that I was ok with being placed in a waiting list, I asked that what was an approximate time for my cat to get looked at and he couldn't give me a time frame either, that he didn't know. I asked when it was a good time to spay my cat and he said 6 months. I asked if I were to be placed on the waiting list and got called before my cat was 6 months old if it would affect her. He didn't know. Ask what would happen with my place if I got called and it wasn't time he didn't know.
