Had Sara out on 3 different occasions to trim pig hooves…read more She complained about SOMETHING every single time she showed up. No "hi how ya doing" just right into complaint mode. 1st time it was "get away... I don't need your help" ( aggressive and rude ) 2nd time its was " you need to have all the pigs getting trimmed in 1 stall" because chasing a pig in a 24x24 barn is too much. Paid her trip fee ( non refundable ) that's recently been jacked up along with all her other fees. She messaged to say she was going to be ahead of schedule.... So I left work early. Arrived home 20 min prior to hear arrival... I had to use a little bit of feed ( handful) to get a pig into the barn.... As soon as she saw that she says " These pigs aren't getting trimmed.... That's the rule." Took her gear to her car n left. NEVER EVER AGAIN.

If I could give them zero stars, I would. We got a wonderful charcoal lab from Circle B in 2016…read morewhen they were a smaller breeder. We decided to get another lab puppy from them in 2020. We put money down on a litter to pick a female puppy that was born in January 2021. We had first pick of our female puppy out of the two females from the litter. We went to pick her up when she was ready to big enough to leave, the other female puppy had already been picked up. A couple of months later, we discovered by looking at pictures, they had given us the wrong puppy, the puppy we did not pick and did not want because she was too hyper. How does that happen when there are only two females in the litter. We did not say anything for a while, because we knew that we had to keep this puppy now, because the other one was gone. When I finally sent a letter to Cassandra, the owner letting her know how upset we were, I never heard a word, nothing acknowledging the mistake or an apology even. We just took our dog, who was now 4 in January to the vet, and she has to see a specialist because the vet thinks she has retinol neuropathy. When you pay a breeder that much for the dog, they should make sure you get the dog you picked and do sufficient testing to rule out potentially serious genetic defects. I will never buy another dog from Circle B and I certainly will never recommend them to anyone I know. Horrible!

Finding the right trainer for a reactive dog can feel overwhelming, but working with Rocky Junior's…read moreDog Training made all the difference for us. Our dog Sophie had leash reactivity that made walks stressful and unpredictable. From the first session, Jeff Salter approached the issue with patience, clarity, and a deep understanding of dog behavior. He focused on helping Sophie feel safe and confident rather than just trying to "stop" the behavior. Jeff taught us how to read Sophie's body language, manage triggers, and respond calmly in real-world situations. The techniques were practical and easy to apply on everyday walks--not just during training sessions. We saw steady progress, quicker recovery when triggers appeared, and a noticeable improvement in Sophie's overall confidence. What I appreciated most was how supportive and judgment-free the process was. Reactivity can be stressful for owners, and Jeff made us feel capable instead of discouraged. If you're looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate reactive dog trainer in Tacoma, I highly recommend Rocky Junior's Dog Training. This experience truly improved our walks and our relationship with our dog.

In addition, I was tired of paying top dollar for their proprietary batteries, which required expensive replacement too often. In frustration, I started investigating alternatives. My search uncovered DogWatch Northwest. They came out the next day, provided me with new collars and control panel which worked beautifully on my existing perimeter wire. Considering how much I'll save in service fees and batteries, it was a easily less expensive to move to the DogWatch Northwest system. Besides super fast service, this system is superior in several ways: 1. It's on FM radio waves avoiding interference with my garage door opener 2. The batteries are inexpensive and last forever, comparatively 3. The system has finite controls that are easy for me to change and can be customized for each of my dogs 4. The technician was very informative and educated me on how to use and adjust the system, but also left an easy to follow guide 5. The installation process was quick So far, neither of my dogs, who breached my past system, have tried to test the system. I couldn't be happier with Dogwatch Northwest. Invisible Fence may be the original, but not necessarily the best alternative.
