I wouldn't take your fur baby anywhere near this place. This is the second time I came here and they tell me the same thing "he's too matted to leave any hair" the first time I accepted it but this time NO. First of all she tried to speak the same thing to me and back peddled when she seen he wasn't matted and I brush him regularly since. I'm not sure if she just doesn't know what she's doing or simply wants to "take 'em down" because it's the easiest thing to do. My baby looks like a lawsuit on top of the fact his growing is irritated. He came home traumatized and I came home pissed. Keep in mind he's shih tzu and it's winter time. Knowing how I feel about his hair and time of year I would think they would at leasttry to keep some hair but now he looks like a terrier even after I gave instructions. Don't let the niceness fool you he also gave a lot of nervous symptoms after.

Hands down the best groomers around. Not just because they do an awesome job but also because they love ur fur babies as if they were their own. Shawna is my Buster's groomer and has been for the past 8yrs that we have lived in WA. I would never go anywhere else.

I guess I forgot to review this place, they are amazing. Our dog hawk loves these ladies and they truly love him. They are chatty which I love when businesses make you feel like they want to be your friends even though they are actually very busy. We wouldnt go anywhere else . Its 5 minutes from our home here in parkland. They take same day apts, unless extremely busy. You can pick your animal right after they finish So you dont need to worry about them being kenneled for long time. Bring your animal here know they are getting celebrity attention. Dont forget to tip as they just handed you back your best friends with might I ad the cutest looking new hairstyles, gave them a bath before doing so which is something some of us hate doing. They give them manicures pedicures or "peticures" that's cute word for it. Yep grooming gals is the place to go for your animals best interest. Thanks for reading another one of my long 20 reviews.

I took my 10 year old cat here and she had never been shaved before and usually has an issue with leaving the carrier after a trip anywhere in it. They completed her cut in half the time as she expected and when my cat came home she jumped out of the carrier and started trying to play immediately. I don't know if they gave her tons of love while she was there or if she was that excited to have her hair cut but I am ecstatic how happy she seemed and how wonderful a job they did! They gave her a lions cut and did an amazing job! If I wasn't mistaken she got a better line up then some men who come out of the barber shop! Love these guys and they are totally affordable and for the price they even cut her nails and cleaned her ears. Other places wanted much more for the same thing. I will continue to take mittens here and will recommend anyone to Shawna's.

This is honestly the best place to take your pet to!! My dog is very stubborn and doesn't want anyone touching him besides me and surprisingly these ladies got the job done! I highly recommend this place to anyone! Thank you Grooming Gals!!

This was Harley's first time at a groomer, he doesn't like his face touched but Shawna did amazing!!!!

I found K9 Grooming through Yelp and I'm so glad I did. We drive 30 minutes to get here and I won't lie, the salon is pricey. It usually costs me around $300 with trip for a standard Aussie and mini Aussie regular groom. But it is absolutely worth it. My dogs are my babies. We have a 6-year-old Aussie we've had since he was a puppy, and we recently added our rescue mini Aussie who is now 8. Our rescue has extreme anxiety from her past trauma, including living in a hoarding situation. The team here treats both of our dogs like family. I've never once worried about the way they're cared for. The salon is spotless. Anytime I walk into a grooming place that smells like urine or feces or is chaotic with constant barking, it's an instant red flag for me. K9 Grooming is completely different. It's clean, calm, and you can even watch your dogs being groomed so there's no mystery about how they're treated. Recently our neighbor warned us about fleas in the area, so I called K9 as a concerned pet mom. They were so helpful. They told me they'd start with a regular bath and, if they found any fleas, they'd do the treatment and call us so we could prep the house. Sure enough, they found a few a went forward with the flea bath. They provided me with helpful information and next steps. I sincerely appreciate the level of care, transparency, and customer service the staff provide. I could never take my dogs anywhere else after coming here.

Australian shepherds have very thick double coats, she requires grooming at least every six weeks. From the front desk, all the way back to the groomers they're always so professional, and Mila is always so extremely eager and happy to go there; that says so much. I've had my fair share of very bad grooming experiences, with this very dog. K9 Design Grooming Salon has changed my perspective and Mila's perspective on grooming experiences. We used to live extremely close to the Salon, but we recently bought a house in Olympia and still make the drive! We love K9 Design Grooming!!

My neighborhood dog group decided to throw a little Saint Patrick's Day party here for us, family…read moreand friends. I was told she was offered a great deal for the rental and some homemade dog treats. Parking was a bit confusing as the parking nearby the business was full and there was a spot that we think was free to use but not sure. As we entered, we were greeted by a staff member who let us in and the space is huge! There were plenty of toys, a dog pool, and little obstacles for dogs to enjoy to their hearts' content! They even have a hose to fill up the pool or just have your dogs chase around. There were little cubbies and lots of areas to hang leashes, coats, and other stuff on. They had Youtube videos playing too. The dog treats were so creative. They had cannoli, biscuits, and much more. All of our dogs seemed to have enjoy the treats greatly, no treats were left behind. All of the dogs seemed to be enjoying themselves as they just had so much to do or other dogs to play with. Definitely look forward to coming back here to throw future dog parties as our group loves to do little events for our fur babies.

It made me wonder about the ratio balance between humans vs dogs. I had dropped my dog off for a behavioral assessment, as we have trips coming up and I'm looking for boarding care. This is not where I'm personally comfortable leaving my pup, as the ratio seemed to be 1 human to 15 or 20 dogs in an indoor-only, less than 1500sq foot space. The good news is they are so kind and nice humans, if I was rating them they'd earn 5+++ stars as I'd leave my dog in their care anytime! The problem I had was the physical space (super tiny!) and the ratio of dogs, as they allowed 3 or 4 pups to greet my dog while 15 or so were in a hallway-type space patiently waiting and sooooo well-behaved, to greet and play. The space for playing is very limited, about 1/2 the size of a classroom, and while it's clean and the staff are super lovely, it's probably not the best fit for our pup who loves to play fetch and run. Parking is also super tricky in this neighborhood, as there isn't a parking lot or spaces reserved for the business.

We had a deeply upsetting experience with Wet Nose and feel compelled to share our story so others…read morecan make informed decisions. We adopted our dog after being told she was completely healthy with no medical concerns. Within 24 hours of bringing her home, she became critically ill and required three days of emergency hospitalization for severe infection, dehydration, and significant weight loss. We spent nearly $4,000 in vet bills to save her life. After requesting her medical records (which were only given to us AFTER we adopted her), we learned she had undergone major abdominal surgery just days before adoption, including treatment for a ruptured spleen and torn ligaments. She was prescribed medications that were never provided to us (or even disclosed to us) and her discharge paperwork clearly required 10 days of strict bed rest -- yet we adopted her on day five. She had been transported from Texas through Saving Hope Animal Rescue, and it is unacceptable that a dog recovering from major surgery was transported and placed for adoption without full medical disclosure or proper follow-up care. When we contacted Wet Nose for accountability and assistance with medical bills, they refused to help and claimed they were unaware of her medical history. Any responsible rescue should obtain complete medical records and ensure a dog is medically cleared before adoption. I even contacted local shelters asking if this was standard practice, and they were completely shocked at how this situation was handled. I know we are not the only story of this happening. Please do your research on this shelter, there are hundreds of Instagram, Facebook and reddit stories sharing similar experiences. Sharing my story isn't "online slander," it's transparency and holding people accountable. I love my dog so much and am glad she's on the mend, but this situation is completely unacceptable. Wet Nose clearly prioritized profit over animal safety.
