Those people are extremely rude, the quality of their products is bad and they are expensive. I should have gone somewhere else. I remodeled my house and my contractor recommended them because they kept calling him asking for customers. They claimed to be the best and doing kitchens for 40 years. Well, when you see their showroom, their computer and their way of doing business you will understand they are in business for a very long time. They do not use email, their computer is a 1990's Dell desktop, they make you sign papers you can barely read and stamp everything with a stamp that does not even have enough ink. They use carbon copy to give your copy and keep the original. But there is more. We wanted to cancel the countertop because we realized delivery was late. When we called them they yield at me and my contractor they insulted us and even hang up on us. The manager Jess was extemely rude when I went there to give them a paperwork they required to proceed because they do not have email. He refused to talk to me. I tried politely to start a conversation but he didn't even listen and asked me to leave. I am a customer spending thousands of dollars and the boss does not even want to talk and take care of his client. Do not go there ever! They asked for full payment upfront. When they deliver the kitchen cabinets and one was damaged. They advised me to ask the contractor to repair it instead of replacing it. They finally replaced it but it was not easy to communicate with them. The lady in charge has no patience and she becomes ballistic when you ask to communicate by email. To conclude, avoid this kind of people. They do not deserve to be in business. I read other reviews and understood I am not the only to have experienced the same story. Next time, I will read reviews first!

TLDR: We hired them to completely remodel our bathroom, redo the basement stairs, and they did a…read morefew other small things along the way. Rouben and his team were phenomenal. If you want quality work, excellent communication, and ease of mind, hire Build Pros. We originally wanted to have our microwave vented out (rather than circulating air and grease in the kitchen) and add a second banister to the stairs to the basement to make them more safe for our growing toddler. We were also considering having our spare basement bathroom remodeled. The bathroom really wasn't very functional because it was built in pieces (so the gross tiny stall shower wasn't even in the bathroom). That was a big job, and we wanted to get a quote for all three pieces. The first two jobs were too small on their own, so we hired Build Pros for all three. They were amazing to work with, and the work they did was the highest of quality. The team was extremely communicative, and we always knew when they were coming, what they were doing next, and what to expect. Their spreadsheet system made it really easy for everyone to keep track of what we had selected, costs, etc. They helped us a ton with design decisions, made recommendations when appropriate, and made sure we were happy with absolutely everything before moving forward. Our house stayed unbelievably clean, given the level of work they were doing, throughout the process. Mike and Rouben were fantastic at reimagining the layout of our bathroom, taking all of our priorities into consideration. John, their carpenter, is a master. We went way over budget, but a lot of that was my fault. I wanted a bathroom that was functional, but the more we talked and designed, the more I realized we actually could get a really *nice* bathroom that wasn't just functional, but high end. They did a bunch of other random things in the area too. We just were so happy with their work, and they were already there, so we asked them to fit in a few small things and they were awesome in getting those done too (adding a couple outlets in the adjacent home gym, replacing our outdoor water spigots, etc.). We are extremely happy with the final products. We even had a water problem shortly after they finished. They fixed it swiftly with no charge. It might have been a part issue or a labor issue, and so in the beginning it was unclear whether we were going to have to pay for repairs right away. I would have been very disappointed if they had charged us, and have all the more confidence in them since they fixed it and stood by the work and warranty. The only real negative was that sometimes when we had to make a decision, and the team gave us a quick "off the cuff" estimate about how much a few different options would cost, the estimate was really a fair amount lower than estimated. That contributed to some of our cost increase, but in the end I think we would have made the same decisions regardless. We're extremely happy with the final products. We even hired them again and they're starting work at my mother-in-laws house this week! I'm already dreaming of putting an addition on our house in the future, and we will hire them absolutely if/when we do this.

The patio and retaining wall look great. The project took longer than expected, but those delays were all on our side. We took longer than we should have to make various decisions about light fixtures, etc. We also changed the scope of the project a few times, adding more areas of walkways that we decided needed to be refinished with the stamped concrete. We would recommend KBR for any project that you might have. Karen was great to work with and even when we were not following through with things on our end, she never lost her cool with us and was very patient waiting for us to come to decisions on things. Not only was Joe's priced reasonably he was the quickest to respond and gave me options and even found out who had the window I chose. He gave me the option of buying the window myself ( could use my military discount) . Window was installed within days of being quoted. I believe it took longer to locate the window than it did for Joe to have it installed. So all said and done he removed my old 15000 btu thru the wall AC , put in my new window , trimmed it all out, offered to repair a pice of broken siding and took the old AC and disposed of for a fraction of what everyone else was quoting me. We could not be happier with the job and will definitely use Phase Pro again.

Kitchen Direct and the President/Owner Peter Curti took $35,000 of our money and never completed…read morethe renovation of our kitchen. All our bottom kitchen doors were made incorrect. We were given plywood doors and drawers when we paid for real wooden doors. All the staining was missing throughout the kitchen. Front and bottom panels were never installed and a top cabinet door was never made. Because of the wrong size cabinets we also cannot access our trash or recycling bins. The cabinets we chose were Showplace Cabinetry and even though our kitchen is under warranty, Showplace refuses to do the warranty work. Showplace will only deal with the Kitchen Direct. Throughout the entire kitchen renovation there were a multitude of mistakes, errors, inaccurate measurements etc. Scott C. sent us a letter telling us that he was too frustrated and that he quit. We fought this for months through the BBB and the RI Attorney General's office. Kitchen Direct is not a reputable company. The AG's office does not have the authority to force him to complete the work, or to have his license revoked. We have called Showplace and sent emails to the President, only to be hung up on and emails that went unanswered. We have been living a nightmare, and we do not have the money to obtain an Attorney. After paying $35,000 our only option is to paint the entire kitchen and hire someone to build a cabinet door and all the missing panels, again, we do not have the money! If Scott Curti has a rebuttal with this complaint, PLEASE BE AWARE!!!!! Do not purchase any cabinetry from Kitchen Direct, Inc. or any cabinetry that is made by Showplace Cabinetry as they will not stand by their mistakes and only will deal with the kitchen company direct and not the homeowner.
