Absolutely unforgettable experience!…read more Brian and his crew at Blur Studios Barbershop on 26th Street West gave all seven of our men an incredible, one-of-a-kind bonding experience on the morning of my son's wedding. My son (the groom), his dad, uncles, and cousins were treated to the full luxury experience from hot steam facials, hot towels, straight-razor shaves, excellent haircuts, to precise trims. It was so much more than just grooming; it was a true guys' experience filled with laughter, relaxation, and togetherness that set the perfect tone for the wedding day. Brian's professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care stood out from the moment they walked in. He made sure every single man felt comfortable, relaxed, and confident, and he truly went above and beyond to make the morning memorable for all of them. Thank you, Brian, for creating such a meaningful and unforgettable start to such an important day. I cannot recommend you and your team highly enough!! Blur Studios is exceptional in every way.

It clearly states on their website that a head shave is $25.00. When it came time to pay, I asked how much. The barber who serviced me said $38.00. Rather than create a stink, I just paid. This has to be the worst excuse for a barber shop and a barber! I had called the day before and was…read moretold a haircut was 12 dollars. When I got there the price on the board was 14 dollars, along with some vulgarity of what services he didn't provide,. The place reeks of stale cigarette smoke and there are toys, posters and assorted junk floor to ceiling wall to wall. The place looks like a bad garage sale. I asked about the price as the price chart said 14 dollars, saying I was told the day before 12 dollars. He told me I must of called the wrong barber. Checking my phone I did indeed call him. When I told him to keep the length and just a trim he told me he only uses electric shears. My hair now looks exactly how you would imagine, terrible. Even when I was at boot camp the initial haircut was better. I see several positive reviews but seems these are for the previous owners. This place is for the lack of a better word, disgusting! The barber would be better at shearing sheep than saying he was a barber for humans, which he doesn't come close to.

My wife and I agree this is THE best place I've ever gotten both. I remember the first time I went there.....I was walking down Main, saw the barber pole, needed a haircut so I poked my head in. Owner (Michelle?) was sitting in a chair eating. . . I asked can I get a haircut and got the look. I said, "I can come back later." She said, "Get in the chair." I did and just will not go anywhere else now. I have had my hair cut and beard trimmed several times now and have told my wife, I only get hair and beard cut in Sarasota. We get to go back more often now. LOL....She is the best, period....hands down.
