When you look around you can tell that the building was re-purposed from something else and after inquiring you find out it was a bank building from the early 1900s. The place has a charm all its own. Nothing fancy but nothing fancy is needed. It is what it is - a place for men to go to get a great haircut. I only go to one barber here and her name is Tina Ann. She knows me and I like that when I get in her chair we can chat about current events or just fill the time with small talk. She is fun to get to know! She gives a great cut! A few months ago I wanted to try something new and she was like "sure - lets give it a try" and now for the first time in my life I have enough hair on the top that I can put in in a (sort of) man bun. I've still got some growing to do but it is getting there. Who knows, I might walk in and tell her to cut it all off one day! The other thing is she will trim your beard/goatee and keep the other stray hairs off your face in those places they start sprouting up when you get older. One of the little things here is you will get a hot lather neck shave with a straight razor and a quick shoulder massage. The guy who owns the place is named Wendell. He has never cut my hair but always does a great job on everyone I know. He is a man of many talents and has a couple of his books for sale in the shop. You can tell he has a thing for Florida history and aviation based on the decor. I've never had to wait longer than 15 minutes to get a cut here. They do get busy from time to time but you can spend that time chatting with the barbers and other customers. Price of the cuts are reasonable and wont break the bank.

WE HAD TO COME BACK AGAIN ON ANOTHER DAY FOR THEM TO FINISH A HAIR CUT FOR A KID. We Asked them for a fade and our kid came home looking like he got a bowl cut. I will never recommend any one going to get a haircut at this place. $15 for a kids cut AND TWO DAYS to come out like this. First day we went in and they just trimmed it and said he moved too much and to come back again another day, he came home with it super botched, but just thought they would fix it the second day. Second day, he came home with this "fade"... it's atrocious. To clarify, my husband and our son got fades and both cuts were awful. My husband said the usual barber wasn't there. We only came here one other time about 5 months ago and it was ok, but since it's close to home we decided to try again. Whoever worked on February 16-17th of 2022 needs to be fired or the Barber needs his license revoked.
