Got a cut from SVB today and couldn't be happier. I booked online super easy and kind of on a time crunch today so I hoped I would get in right away. My slot was open on arrival and went straight into a chair. I hate going to barbershop in the past because i never get the cut I want. Morgan listened to what I needed and got it right in a minimal amount of time. Morgan has serious skills and is also impressionable and easy to hold a conversation with. Boyfriend made an appt with Tony today (after not being able to get an appt for weeks because dude doesn't answer his phone and vm is full, and noone answers the shop phone) and arrived right on time, despite the rain -only to find someone in the chair... after waiting 15 minutes he just left. Used their yelp booking system to book a cut, also took advantage of the check in for first time customers 50% off, then called the shop to confirm but didn't get an answer. Drove from 35 mins away arrived 30 mins before my appt time online. Asked the guy at the front for my barber, he said he wasn't there and they weren't taking anymore appts -- guys were tired and wanted to go home. Huh? Told him I booked online--- he said system was messed up and doesn't show correct times. I said I also called to confirm, it rang 7 times no answer -- he said ya I tried to answer. Hmmm Since it was a sat night and I had dinner plans with my girl later, I pleaded and asked for anyone and another barber came around the corner said he might be able to take me but it would be more $. Reluctantly, I said ok--- even tho that doesn't make sense... I was desperate. He then came back around and said he couldn't do it. What?! Mind you, during this debacle, another customer showed up and was sat right away from a mysterious barber in the back. My hair is super easy to cut -- 10 mins max. Not sure what happened but they dropped the ball and had plenty of chances to make it right. But didn't. Fix your broken system, guys. read more

Took my son there and can't be happier! He has very thick hair and a looot of it and previous barbers couldn't figure out right way to cut it and usually it would look terrible the next day. Not this time! Looks great! And I took him to most places if not all in Sarasota/Bradenton area. Best barber shops in srq and none did as good as this place! This is a great place to get your hair done that is inexpensive with the very personable hairstylists my stylist name was Barbara Habora and she was able to do a no line fade just like I asked! I think this place will repair your 10 dollar haircut! These guys are good, they may be a little higher priced than other local places, (about 10 dollars more) but you get a good quality haircut. Tony took his time with me and did exactly what I wanted, even though I was probably not too specific in my description of what I wanted. I will return, and pay 25 dollars for a great haircut instead of taking my chances on. 12-15 dollar haircut. Skimp on your looks and wonder why people treat you like they do! read more

Had a noon appointment and showed up 20 minutes early, was told by the gentlemen who was to cut my hair he would be done with his current client in 10 minutes. I waited for another half hour and he still had not finished his previous job so I left. Absolutely terrible,I book an appointment online and show up 15 mins before my scheduled time, they said the online appointments don't work and the barber who I scheduled online no longer worked there and that I'd have to come back later and they even had the nerve to say they'd charge more after causing ME an inconvenience, I was in shock of the lack of professionalism, the guy acted like I was causing him an inconvenience because their online booking was messed up. I had to just walk out, it was as if they didn't want to get a new customer. Definitely not the type of service I would have excepted as a first time customer, I understand that problems happen with online systems but they could atleast attempt to make it up or pretend to fee somewhat sorry instead of acting as if I was causing them an inconvenience, but I'll take my money elsewhere. read more
