We were told there were only a few items left as they had sold out of other stuff. We got the smoothered pork chop, two scoops of rice with the pork chop gravy on top, and a scoop of cooked cabbage. The meal also included a roll similar to a kings Hawaiian, a slice of cornbread, a slice of cinnamon cake, and a choice of drink which was koolaide or bottle water (since I am diabetic We went with water), also a side of hot sauce and small container of cranberry sauce.The man and I shared the plate and it was enough for the two of us or easily one really hungry person. The pork chop was so tender we didn't need a knife and the gravy was so flavorful. The rice was lightly seasoned and I appreciated the gravy on it (next time I will ask for extra gravy). The cornbread was sweet and the roll was soft. I loved the cabbage it was soft and had a sweet flavor to it. Overall I can't wait to go back and try more things on Sundays. The meal was about $14 and some change and that included a 3% credit card charge which was fine.

It is a truly magnificent venue Cotton and it was understandably bustling with a very lively, chic Saturday crowd. The interior design is absolutely exquisite. I was deeply impressed by the sophisticated decor and the stunning murals that grace the space. It had been quite some time since my last visit, and stepping back inside reminded me exactly why this place is an absolute standout. I was escorted to a wonderfully private table, which allowed for a perfectly serene dining experience despite how busy they were. The service was entirely impeccable from start to finish. I began the afternoon by speaking with my attentive waiter and ordering a classic Bloody Mary, which was mixed to absolute perfection. For my selection from the menu, I chose the Deviled Farm Eggs, and they were a total culinary triumph deeply satisfying and beautifully presented. Between the vibrant atmosphere, the flawless service, and the exceptional flavors, the experience deserved full marks. For either $10 or $12 (depending on the meat), you get a meat, 2 sides, a bread item, drink and dessert. Several items were completely out. A guy finally came to refill the fried fish and I had to ask him how many pieces we were supposed to get. If it wasn't for the fish, I probably would have left because none of the other meat items looked appealing. The fish was large and nicely seasoned. I opted for the sweet potatoes and macaroni & cheese. The sweet potatoes were good and macaroni tasted like a typical boxed recipe. We also had a choice between a roll or cornbread. The rolls were hard and not that great. I chose a bottled diet coke, because the fountain drinks were colorful and sweet looking, and I wasn't interested in drinking so much sugar. The desserts on the line didn't look appealing, but one of the staff told us that we could choose from various cakes as we got closer to the check out. What I saw next was inexplainable! I looked at the area with the cakes and it was in complete disarray (look at my pictures). There was a guy cutting store bought cakes and putting them in individual containers. The area was messy and the entire setup was unprofessional. While we were eating, I looked over to the food line and a guy was stirring food with one hand and talking on his cellphone with the other. Again, very unprofessional and unsanitary. One of the waitresses was also constantly drinking in front of the drink machines. The only plus worth mentioning is that the restaurant itself is nicely decorated. This place has a long way to go, so I'm not certain I'll be returning.
