Their is a gas station right in the front of the complex, close to dc and a good amount of stores nearby. Some kids were urinating in the building and packages were being stolen at a point in time. Pepco is who you pay electricity to and you receive a Conservice bill for water & gas which you pay with your rent. The neighbors make living here irritating because of lack of consideration and respect. Knowing that my neighbors are harassing on purpose I decided it's only fair to share the experience for future residents. There are washers and dryers which are stacked. The bigger bedroom does not get proper air circulation. There are lots of bugs (spiders, grasshoppers, other unknown bugs). You have 2 ways to go to the bedrooms. The bedroom closets are pocket doors which you can hear your neighbors slamming. The tub was not glazed but painted upon moving in so everything was stuck to the paint. Master bedroom floor had major dips in the floor and dressers were leaning (if you have a child/children or a pet please be careful so nothing falls on them). The floors creaked really bad (which means hollow floors and no insulation). There is no insulation within the units so if you will be able to hear your neighbors above and below you. People w/ kids who live above you- you will hear them running and more all day even the adults stomp and bang hard as ever. If you have decent neighbors appreciate them because some neighbors believe they are entitled to be as loud as they would like. (Some neighbors are crazy so I take photos & videos for my protection). As of currently since moving in we have experienced neighbors above us who during the touring process could be heard following us through the apartment. With thin flooring the upstairs neighbors heard us speaking and followed us in each room while touring from inside their unit. Those same upstairs neighbors who live in the unit number 9 has been nothing but disrespectful since. A common thing we've experienced is anytime they hear us communicating whether by phone or in person you would hear their heavy hard stomps/feet follow us around and when we reported their noise, they retaliated with even louder noise. At a point they would sit in their car knowing what time we would leave and watch us as we came and went. If they hear you cough, sneeze or talk to loud they will follow wherever you are and stand and listen. They'll follow around just because and I swear on it. My alarm system was deactivated one morning and once they heard that they came running to watch you and then they took their trash out. Just so they can see you. They are retaliatory and if you bang because of their noise they will stomp through the entire apartment. Now the downstairs neighbors in apartment 1 stomp which surprisingly you can hear them underneath you. They came and stopped us as we moved in to say oh you're quiet unlike those neighbors before you just to see how we would respond. After time they began being so loud we could hear them underneath us. One of the women here doesn't work either so they as well will follow you around and then listen to you as you use the bathroom. They, after me giving them the same energy have been nothing but rude and began mean mugging so for that reason I needed to snap their pictures as well. One night they were fighting and you could hear it as if it was in your unit. Again people should know what type neighbors they have living around them. You will be surprised that some of your neighbors are weird and may be retaliatory so it's best to be cautious. As of currently my neighbors and I are in dislike of one another because they want to bang and stomp while I believe there should be some consideration for having neighbors around you.

The washing machine is old and bangs loud on the spin cycle. The closest and bedroom doors are off the hinges. I have asked for a screen for my second bedroom 11 months ago. And the rental office has rat burrows behind their building. Rats have been seen at the metro bus stop in front of the rental office. They have friends who live here who harrass the new tenants who live here. The worst was when my social worker from the Veterans Housing Authority came in person to address the issue with my apartment. The woman who said she is corporate discriminated against my disability in front of her staff of two females. They violated my rights to privacy with the maintenance worker by calling me a woman. When I corrected him about what he was doing by misgendering me as a man. Short after that 6 Spanish workers came by my window cat calling and laughing. I had to come outside with my weapon to let them know I am not what or who they think I am. A neighbor next to me told me one day that he was asked by the office was I a problem. The other neighbors have seen me as a peaceful and kind man who stays to himself and speaks to everyone. This female pettiness has to stop now because she is truly hated by men and women in this community of Park Greene apt. I'm convinced that corporate has given her the open door to harrass and hate the male tenants. I do and have paid my rent before the first of every month. But I found a Pepco shut off notice that they refuse to pay themselves when my lease states that they are responsible for that Pepco bill. That one female has no clue of what she has created for this management company with what was reported to my legal advisor and the veterans housing authority. Oh! one more thing. I called 311 to report the situation to Prince Georges County. The inspector said he knew her from high school. After that my repairs were never addressed. They need to change this place to condo apartments because someone is mismanaging the property and the rent paid by the tenant.. Please don't live in this apartment complex..

After my husband left his vehicle there(We Ubered to Warner Theatre), to attend the Phyllis Hyman play, "Living All Alone", we came back at 11:00pm to find his vehicle towed! We left his car, in the Visitor parking space, with the visitor tag on the dashboard! A WHOPPING $175.00! It's obvious that the parking stipulations, have not been communicated properly to the residents! My sister-in-law, informed us, on what she THOUGHT, were the correct and proper procedures, to avoid getting towed! Also, I did not see any signage anywhere, in the parking lot, to state, who to call, in case your vehicle was towed! We had to scramble around, call this person, to find out WHO the towing company was!! And once my sister-in-law spoke to a male resident there, they said that his car had been towed THREE TIMES!! $175 times 3 is $525!! Ridiculous!! I have tried contacting the rental office today, but have only received voice mail. I hope to speak with someone about this situation soon!!

I was illegally evicted from this unit June of 2025 after making several complaints about the violations inside of the unit. I called 311 and had an inspection done by a housing inspector who said that the unit had several violations. I also had an escrow account set up. One of the main violations was that the water (that they want you to pay for) in the master bathroom comes out brown. It was so bad that I had to go to the doctor because my body broke out and my face had swollen up and I developed some very unusual splotches on my legs (I also have pictures). The master bathroom had some sort of mold which caused my asthma to flare up constantly. My doctor had to put me on steroids and I took Benadryl to deal with the itching. Ice pack to the face for 3 days for the swelling. Frequent visits to the doctor because of my blood pressure not being under control due to the stress. They allowed someone to live in the storage room where the person was drinking, doing drugs and stealing packages. I have tons of emails between the property manager and myself acknowledging the problems. I spoke to SC (her initials) who works in the office about this issue and she said that there wasn't nothing they could do about it. Just keep calling 911. I suggested to her that they lock the dang door because of the safety issue. She said that they couldn't. So I said are y'all going to wait for a rape, assault or worst to happen before you take this serious? No response. I have the case #'s of all the times that I had to call 911. The property manager, She is a lying piece of work. She emailed me defaming me saying that I was hostile and some other things and I had to defend myself against her lies. This woman had a meeting with me & my mother (face to face) and NEVER said anything like that in our presence. She has lied on her own maintenance staff (Reggie) who told me to my face that he didn't tell her the things she emailed me. I could go back further. That apartment was broken into by a male that the property is aware of for breaking into peoples apartments (including Reggie's) the maintenance man told me that also. My truck was stolen twice. The main in the office told me that the cameras were just for show ‍. The property manager had my truck towed according to the tow company for retaliation. I have so much evidence of neglect that it's ridiculous. The day that they decided to illegally evict me, I received a call from (SC) advising me that I needed to come back to the property because they were putting my things out. She said that I needed to hurry up because I had some really nice things & named the property that I had in my apartment. My clothes (LV, Gucci). I said how are y'all doing that and we have court on Monday June 16, 2025. I pulled up and 95% of my stuff was on the ground in trash bags. Whoever went through my dresser took $6,000 that I was adding to my escrow account that day. They broke up my $2,500 dining room table. They broke all of the brand new bed frames from the 3 bedrooms. They put cuts in my brand new living room furniture. The worst thing in everything besides the absolute humiliation of what they did knowing that I had a escrow account (because I told the property manager & SC) is that they put my service dog outside on the patio in 98 degree heat without any water which I know was traumatic for her. She was pinned outside with 2 gates leaned up against the building and then they put 2 center blocks up against the fencing. She was panting and crying when I got to her. She hasn't been the same since and neither has any of us. My sons & I are bouncing around until I get into the new place spending a ridiculous amount of unnecessary money and being completely stressed out. If you want to see the inspection report or any pictures, reach out. This isn't over by any stretch of the imagination. If I could give them a negative star rating I would.

    Tapestry Largo Station

    Tapestry Largo Station

Disappointed but Hopeful…read more I really struggled writing this because I genuinely want to enjoy living here. On the surface, Tapestry Largo Station is a beautiful property. The apartments themselves are spacious, modern, and visually appealing. Inside my unit, I'm comfortable. But unfortunately, living here is more than just what's inside your four walls -- and that's where the disappointment begins. For the amount of rent residents are paying, the condition and upkeep of the common areas is simply unacceptable. Trash is consistently left in the hallways and stairwells. Not occasionally but consistently. Also the Stairwells walls and ground are barely in nice condintion. Let me be clear -- I am not referring to valet trash service. We have that, and that's understood. I'm talking about random trash left in hallways and stairwells that just sits there. Debris, Spills ,things that are clearly not part of valet pickup. It often feels like the halls are cleaned every other month. Every once in a while, you'll smell a strong fragrance or see someone vacuuming -- almost like a surprise reminder that cleaning does happen -- but it's inconsistent. For a property marketed the way this one is, cleanliness should be routine, not occasional. The door entry systems are frequently broken or malfunctioning. The garage gate has been broken more times than I can count. And when access points don't operate properly, security becomes questionable. While there is outside parking available, vandalism and car break-ins have still been a recurring issue -- particularly in the exterior parking areas. Wheels being removed from cars is not a one-time shock-factor situation. It has happened on numerous occasions. During holidays. In front of the garage. Near the leasing office. At some point, it stops feeling random and starts feeling like an ongoing problem that isn't being properly addressed. Elevators are constantly out of order. "Temporarily unavailable" has almost become permanent. For a multi-level building where residents rely on elevators daily, this is more than an inconvenience. The gym is another area that lacks the upkeep it should have. For a property positioned as luxury, the cleanliness of shared amenities does not reflect that standard. Again, it's not that it's terrible -- it just feels like the bare minimum is being done. Community events have also declined in quality. In the past, there seemed to be more effort to engage tenants. Lately, it feels repetitive -- often just the same food truck with little to no real interaction between management and residents. It doesn't feel like community building. I understand that every property has challenges. No place is perfect. But there are certain basics -- safety, cleanliness, and functioning entry systems -- that should not be ongoing issues. These are foundational responsibilities. When they repeatedly go unaddressed, it gives the impression that management is doing the bare minimum rather than actively maintaining and improving the community. It's frustrating because this property has so much potential. The units are beautiful. The location is convenient. The space is there for this to be an amazing place to live. But the outside of the apartment -- the hallways, stairwells, shared areas, and exterior parking -- tells a very different story. Residents are paying a premium price and deserve premium upkeep. Right now, it feels like we're paying luxury prices for average and sometimes below-average. I truly hope this improves, because many of us want to enjoy living here. We just need the level of care, consistency, and accountability to match what we're being charged.

One was for water underneath my washer which was discovered on a Saturday and they did not seem critical enough to someone come out there that day. Of the 4 requests (Washer, Icemaker, Drain stopper in bathtub, and light bulb) only two were done correctly (the washer and simple light bulb change). The drain was done incorrectly and I am awaiting the icemaker to be fixed.....again. And on that light bulb the light bulb was simply left on my bathroom counter. Yes a minor inconvenience but cmon you cant be bothered to simply clean up after yourself when fixing an issue? Very, very disappointing. You could chalk that up to an isolated incident as well however a screwdriver was left on the bar cart in my apartment as well. So not only is maintenance done incorrectly but various tools and trash are left around after the "completion" of the job. One of the biggest unknowns in any apartment complex is how the complex completes requests. The Harper is not good, period. I cannot recommend anyone to move in there as getting them to do their jobs correctly is basically a battle. There are many other options in the neighborhood and I would advise selecting one of those before signing a lease at The Harper.
