The leasing team is friendly and welcoming while you're applying, but once you move in, that support disappears--especially when real issues arise. Security is a major concern here. Despite signs stating that the property has surveillance, I found out after my car was stolen just two weeks after I bought it that the cameras only cover the inside of the buildings--not the parking areas. This means there is no real security presence to protect residents or their property. My friend also had their tires stolen, and several other residents have reported vandalism and theft with no meaningful response from management. There's no follow-up, no empathy, and no accountability. Instead of addressing safety issues, management seems more focused on towing vehicles--even for things like expired tags, which feels excessive and invasive. The overall attitude from the management team is dismissive and unprofessional. Rather than taking responsibility or offering solutions, they make tenants feel like the problem. Living here has felt unsafe, both physically and mentally. There's no sense of community care or transparency--just a focus on collecting rent. I would not recommend Everly Apartments to anyone seeking a secure or supportive living environment.

I moved in at the end of May and faced issues immediately: bugs, broken appliances, incorrect keys,…read moreand a loud ticking noise from plumbing that still hasn't been fixed. My parking spot constantly floods with sticky liquid, and the garage was filled with spiders. Despite promises of cleanliness, pest control, and security, none existed. The gates stayed open, trash piled up, and noise from neighbors was constant. Photo and video proof went mostly ignored, and I couldn't access the portal for weeks. Some things were fixed, but the unit remains noisy with creaky floors and walls that transmit everything. Maintenance visits outnumber my own guests, and I've had to clean after each visit. I tried to remain patient, but after reporting issues, management became defensive. The property manager initially dismissed the plumbing noise as "normal" despite video proof--then later admitted it was loud. I asked to move to a nearby unit, but was told no without even seeing it. She also assumed I couldn't afford anything else, despite never asking for my budget. One alternative was offered--smaller, darker, and just as noisy. Delayed mailbox access caused missed DMV appointments, and even though I had a sticker, my car was towed--feeling more retaliatory than fair. Staff also made inappropriate comments and treated me like I was hostile for simply following up. Billing issues followed. We were supposed to get a free month but were still charged. I was told I could move but got no help and was pressured to leave on an unrealistic timeline despite limited resources. Plumbing left a hole in my ceiling for weeks, and when sealed, the fumes made the bedroom uninhabitable. The manager entered without notice and admitted the noise was real, but said nothing could be done. Then I received an eviction notice addressed only to me--not my roommate--and was told the free move would be voided if I didn't comply. Meanwhile, rent charges weren't even corrected until months later, yet I was hit with a late fee. Now I'm dealing with staff who are defensive and avoid calls by routing me to a call center. I've been made to feel like I'm the issue just for holding them accountable to what was promised before move-in. The complex was recently pressure washed, but pests remain and my parking spot is still disgusting. If I could go back, I would never have signed a lease here.

Since living at Truman park I have had floods in my apartment which has damaged my personal property. The leasing office and the owner refuse to fix the issue. They don't value their tenants and move anyone in the complex cars get broken into and the neighbors are very noisy. When you call the rental office to complain of the noise they do absolutely nothing. The tenants are allowed pets with nowhere for them to use the bathroom so as you can imagine they go in the front of the building. The apartments have mold which maintenance paints over to cover up the issue. There is never any parking because multiple people who don't live here use the visitor passes to park I want cars. They have moved people from all walks of like into the community so now there is constant trash in the parking lot and noise throughout the apartments. This is not a safe place to live if you report anything to the rental office theyDO NOT follow up. Plus who wants to live with sewage issues and mold. This is currently in my apartment. I have taken the rental office to court we are currently waiting for them to be served. I would rate this place no stars but it won't let me post.

My unit wasn't cleaned before I moved in, my security deposit was misapplied, and I've had multiple unresolved maintenance issues: leaks in the wall and ceiling, a dishwasher hose that sprays everywhere, lint backing up from the dryer, and peeling bathtub/sink surfaces that were painted, not properly glazed. The hallways are consistently dirty and poorly maintained -- nothing like what I saw during the tour. Maintenance hasn't addressed any of my concerns, and the leasing office staff completely changed less than a month after I moved in. I normally give the benefit of the doubt and don't write negative reviews, but I'm sharing this in hopes it leads to some kind of resolution.

I believe at that time is when she left the comment herself from my phone. Very disturbing. Truly disappointed and disgusted. I will be elevating this matter.

However, some of the people that live here makes the experience a nightmare. You can tell they're not used to nice things. This place is a glorified NYC housing project. We pay a LOT of money to live in the slums. For starters, this is supposed to be a smoke free building; that's the main reason why I moved here. They make you sign an addendum and everything acknowledging it. The kicker is they don't even enforce it. I complain regularly and they do absolutely nothing. I continue to get the smell of weed in my apartment daily. The garbage is another issue. We have a trash chute but some of the neighbors leave their trash on the floor in the trash room expecting the staff to clean it up. Someone left their trash on the floor overnight and now the hallway smells like there's a decomposed body somewhere. Just pure laziness and selfishness. I've seen the trash room overflow a couple of times. There is a rodent infestation. It got so bad a couple months ago where almost all of us had a mouse in our apartments. I've never lived with mice before and I never want to do that again. Having a mouse in my home wasn't a pleasant experience. Parking is supposed to be secure, but someone's tires were stolen and they break into cars. For whatever reason the fire alarm randomly goes off after midnight and it's loud. No fire. It just goes off and we have to wait for PGFD to come and turn it off for us. Maintenance is top tier. I had one issue where my work order was canceled but I called them and they can to fix whatever was broken.

Front desk is extremely rude. Green areas are becoming better but the grass and trees are often leave unattended for multiple weeks. Managment changes contract rules like nothing so they can start charging more. Service fee is a good example of it, it's just a dollar but they don't explain what is for. Trash service fee, this is a new one. 18 dlls which we were not used to be charged and with previous management we didn't have any sort of trash recollection problems that now days we see. Shortage of Maintenace personal. I think as of today 5/7/2024 there is only a couple of maintain ace folks, nothing to complain on them, really polite and efficient folks, but you can tell they are under lots of stress due the lack of more personal The lease agreement does not cover any incidents on the unites so you have to get insurance in advance, basically management doesn't want to hold accountable for nothing, if you lack such insurance, you will be charged 25 monthly. Ah yes and almost forgot, parking is a special thing here, you can't own two cars and want to park both on the property even when there is plenty of parking spots available, this is management policy to only allow one car per resident, you might consider making an owner change on your cars to your partner. I would have definitely recommended this property to anyone two years ago BUT not today.

After the same to the big corporation Fairstead, they cut staff, services, and everything. The exercise room is ghetto. They rarely respond to maintenance requests timely. They cut maintenance staff. When I go into the office, I can tell the staff means well but it is beyond their control. Companies do this all the time. My suspicion is they want everyone to leave and they want to turn the place into more upscale condos or they might just keep cutting it until it becomes a slum and then they will just tear it down and start a new development. If I could give a ZERO I would. You can read the review of May 7 by Amir and he knows the deal. I know what they are doing. This is what big housing development parasitic companies do. Do not rent here. If you are here, don't renew. It's a dump. It's only a matter of time before petty thieves know this and they will likely start using the place to commit petty crime. A slum is a slum is a slum.

*** NEW UPDATE *** 6/9/2024…read more Woodmore Grand Sides with Maintenance Crew I'm extremely disappointed with how Woodmore Grand Apartments handled the theft of $1500 from my unit. The maintenance crew I believe allegedly stole the money during a routine maintenance visit, and instead of addressing the issue, management has sided with the crew. They never even confronted the team with the allegations. To make matters worse, they have placed the liability on me, refusing to take any responsibility for the incident. This lack of accountability and support is appalling. I cannot recommend this place to anyone seeking a safe and honest living environment. Avoid Woodmore Grand Apartments at all costs. ***STAY FAR AWAY FROM HERE*** On 6/6/2024 they were doing some kind of inspection on apartments. They only have 2 maintenance people in which one of the 2 entered my apartment and allegedly burglarized it. They stole cash from me but was kind enough to leave just a few dollars behind. I found out after they did the inspection. Meanwhile the money that was "placed there in the morning" was gone when they left. Filed a police report Case # PP24060700001377 RMS # 24-0033079 Cpl. J. George #2735 Let's be clear there was armed robberies outside, cars being vandalized, stolen, and tires stolen on several vehicles. I gave them grace on that because I wanted to give them time to fix ilthe problem. Where I drawl the line is when they allegedly give keys to criminals and access to my personal property and belongings. They rifled through my drawers, opened up my boxes that had sunglasses and they were actually rearranged. They cased the whole place. At this price point they are touting luxury apartments but you have real thieves working there. Best believe I will be contacting the news because I feel it's my duty to make sure that people are VERY aware of the type of employees that are holding master keys to your apartment. Rent here at your own risk. Nothing is safe here not even your privacy.

If they are not resolved, I would seriously consider breaking my lease. First and most concerning is lighting. When I step off the Metro in the evenings, it is extremely dark. More than half of the street lamps that line the path to my building do not work. As a short, small woman in stature, this makes me feel genuinely unsafe. Walking home in near darkness creates a situation where I feel like someone could jump out at any moment. This is unacceptable. Second, building security is severely lacking. While the building and garage technically have key fob access, the gates and garage doors remain open 24/7. Recently, my partner had to physically run a homeless person out of the stairwell. That should never happen in a building where residents are paying over $2,060 per month in rent. Lastly, the dog waste problem is out of control. Many residents own dogs, which is fine, but the amount of dog feces left around the property is overwhelming. It's everywhere -- and walking through piles of dog waste in the dark, when you can't even see where you're stepping because the lights don't work, is absolutely disgusting. These issues are not minor inconveniences -- they are quality-of-life and safety problems. Until lighting, security, and sanitation are properly addressed, I cannot recommend this property.
