Had such a great time today. From the moment we got out of our car the staff was super friendly…read moreand helpful. Everything was well marked and they provided everything we need-saw, measuring pole, etc. They hauled our tree out of the field for us as well as taking it to our car after they bundled it. We had a great time as a family. The tree is beautiful and our house now smells like a pine forest. Will be back next year!

Wonderful family owned Christmas tree farm with beautiful land and great service. Went there today…read moreand cut down two trees. They have a wide variety of trees both u-cut and pre-cut. When we arrived, we were immediately greeted by the owner of the farm. He quickly explained how the u-cut process works as we warmed ourselves by the fire. Let me tell you, this place has amazing service!! They are a well oiled machine! We were provided with a saw, tarp for kneeling on the ground, and tag for marking our tree. They even have pvc pipe pre cut at certain heights so you can accurately measure the height of your tree! After you've picked and cut your tree, all you have to do is drag it a short distance to the main path. From there the tree is picked up, shaken, and bundled for transport by staff. While you are waiting for you tree to be prepared and loaded, you can mozy through the gift shop while drinking complementary hot cocoa or cider. I think we found our spot for a new family tradition! Thanks G's Christmas trees!

I don't have a truck but Northland Nursery still let me buy a cubic yard of WSU compost (recently…read morecertified organic) for $35. When I told them I was going to hand load it into bags and disclosed my 619 area code, I'm sure they thought "batshit crazy Californian" - but hey, I'm not complaining. I got my compost and feel happy with the product and the price. If you are as crazy as me and willing to get your workout, bring a roll of strong garbage bags, a shovel and maybe a bucket to hold up your bags. Go into the office and say you want a cubic yard of compost and you will hand load it. You might raise a little laugh but, you are crazy after all. :-) They'll sell it to you and give you a receipt. You will drive your car around to the compost pile on the lot. I was helpfully shown where to park. They will drive a tractor up, scoop your cubic yard and dump it on the ground for you to shovel into bags. If you are lucky enough to have or borrow a truck they will put it in the truck bed for you. If not proceed to get your workout shoveling it into the garbage bags and throwing them into the back of your car. A cubic yard of compost in bags fills the back of an SUV with the back seats down. So ladies move your car seats out first and bring those strong garbage bags. You won't have to go to the gym today! Better yet bring a teenager (only one will fit in the car) and get some help with this chore. Wish I had one of those but my kid's only 7. Thanks Northland Nursery for tolerating this newb! ;-)

We asked the lady about our tree that's maybe dying in front of our house and she made some recommendations. Her and her team were very helpful. We will come back again. Thank you!
