Once you cut down your tree they put it in a shaker to remove any dead needles and then wrap it up in twine for transport on your vehicle. They also provide twine for you to secure the tree to your car. Only note of concern: They have a very steep drive in that is somewhere close to a 1/4 mile long. If snowy or muddy it can prove to be a difficult drive.

Wonderful family owned Christmas tree farm with beautiful land and great service. Went there today…read moreand cut down two trees. They have a wide variety of trees both u-cut and pre-cut. When we arrived, we were immediately greeted by the owner of the farm. He quickly explained how the u-cut process works as we warmed ourselves by the fire. Let me tell you, this place has amazing service!! They are a well oiled machine! We were provided with a saw, tarp for kneeling on the ground, and tag for marking our tree. They even have pvc pipe pre cut at certain heights so you can accurately measure the height of your tree! After you've picked and cut your tree, all you have to do is drag it a short distance to the main path. From there the tree is picked up, shaken, and bundled for transport by staff. While you are waiting for you tree to be prepared and loaded, you can mozy through the gift shop while drinking complementary hot cocoa or cider. I think we found our spot for a new family tradition! The Christmas trees made for a festive background as well. Another photographer booked indoors with Santa that day (I believe Santa may be the owner?). When the woman at Legacy (perhaps Mrs. Claus) saw our dachshund on property she was so excited that she wanted to bring him in to have his photo taken with Santa. Our four year old was able to see Santa too, it was a real treat! A special day and a magical backdrop. It even snowed during our photo shoot! Highly recommend, we will be back.

And to all those other reviewers who bitch and complain for spending way too much for a pumpkin or some veggies, no one forced you to plunk down the money. You could just turn around and walk away. I've gotten Bargains here on bulk fruits and veggies that I would never have found elsewhere. Sure, I've come here for a few items and they were priced a little bit more than what I wanted to spend, so I held off. It's called Freedom of Choice, people.

I have been able to get tree lots to donate one tree every year about a week before Christmas. It's three days before Christmas and they still have numerous trees that they undoubtedly are not going to sell in the next two days. They would not donate one until Christmas eve but would either sell me a 3 foot tree for $40!!! or a 1 foot table top lopped off the top of a tree piece for $10!!! Second year dogwood, died third year Japanese Maple has major fungal issues I hadn't noticed when purchasing. Now it needs to be removed and my Soil is contaminated. We did not over water. We follow directions exactly. We have now wasted $800 dollars at least! Every single tree we have planted has either died shortly after or had serious fungal issues. Never ever again will we purchase and trees from Spokane Boys. We have a beautiful lush and thriving garden otherwise with multiple trees from other retailers with no issue and have been growers for two decades. We are not the problem. So buyer beware. The trees are beautiful but unfortunately never lasted longer than one year. The Garden decorations, fountains and birdbaths are nice and have lasted. So it's not a complete waste.
