They have an event space separate from the restaurant that can be rented out and can probably hold about 75 people. Now onto the food... it was out of this world. The customer favorite are the pork chops which are amazing. My personal favorite though were the shrimp and grits. There was so much flavor in each bite. I wish I had a lifetime supply to eat them. I would solely come back for the shrimp and grits. We got the pork chops, fried chicken, shrimp and grits. They all were good. Next time we will try the salmon which we were also told was a customer favorite. As their name states they also offer catering services. Do yourself a favor and visit Viny's Catering or hire them to cater your next event you will not be disappointed.

We started with Viny's Bread and wings in a garlicky sauce. Both were amazing. These are meaty wings. Not those small, hardly worth the effort most places serve. For our main courses we tried Viny's Chicken, which were fried to perfection (choice of white or dark meat), served with nicely seasoned fries and slaw, and delicious glazed bone-in pork chops. I ordered the collard greens as my side and was not disappointed. Viny's also has a small but totally adequate wine and beer selection. Prices were very reasonable.

The fries are incredibly fresh. The pork is stellar, just what I like, with a side of sweet barbecue sauce for pouring or dipping. Big E isn't always available at this site on a regular schedule at this point, but you should get a taste when it's there. Big E also offers catering as well as ribs on occasion by pre-order for $25. In a town with no brick-and-mortar BBQ restaurant, Big E is much needed. Friendly and fast service, too. I was told I'd have to wait a bit for fresh fries. Less than 5 minutes later I was back in the car with my food. Cards accepted. Lot available for parking near a Mountain Rest Cemetery entrance. They catered our daughter's wedding reception and we are still receiving compliments! The hors d' oeuvres of ham/cheese scones, vegetable crudites, meatballs, spinach/artichoke dip with homemade chips and banana pudding got us off to a great start. Donut flavors I indulged in were: 7up, Red velvet, and double chocolate donuts and one other flavor I can't recall. They were good! Very flavorful, not too sweet. I recommend heating them up for about 30 seconds before eating and mmmmmmm. Can't wait for their next popup!
