Five stars in every conceivable way…read more First off, a big and super important shout out to Dacia Wadell. I hope she is one of Missoni's highest compensated employees. LOL Also 5 stars to the manager here that came from boutiques on fifth Avenue -- fantastic too. His name is slipping my mind right now. I will update this when I remember it. He has taught me quite a bit in casual conversation about the fashion business in New York City. I appreciate that a lot. Truth is every single employee I have ever worked with here (including the really cool security guys) are fantastic. I have had no bad service experience whatsoever. I live 15 minutes in California from another location. I won't buy from them because I am so loyal to Dacia. I wait until I come back to my place on the East Coast to come see her or work with her on consignment. I purchased one tank top in California and felt guilty for weeks. Even though the store in California close to my other house is much larger, I find that the merchandise at this location is much better. They seem to get pieces that the other stores do not. They also have a wide range of sizing. Dacia's ability to work with me living part-time in 2 states has been nothing short of amazing. She is kind and thoughtful and honest- and the designs are changing quite a bit as of late. I love most of them, and hope to be a long time supporter and shopper.

I bought my first Missoni here and I'm sure I will keep it for a long time. However, I think they could be more frank when give comments on customers. Since the price is extremely high, it's not realistic to expect customers buy all clothes that work out. If they can give more frank recommendations that helping customers choose the best fit, that will be awesome and it is a good way to keep long term return customers. Next weekend I might go to the Missoni store to check out how it likes. For now, I strongly recommend you to go to M Missoni to find a more beautiful you.

I recently discovered a "hidden" Theory/ Helmut Lang gem - the Theory Company Store on 5th Avenue…read more I went there yesterday prior to the sample sale disaster on 36th Street. Yesterday I was treated to a spacious, well-appointed/ well- lit showroom with a decent selection of items/ styles. There were several Theory items that I had had my "eye" on and I tried on a few Helmut Lang dresses also (still not quite skinny enough for HL.) I tried on four dresses and liked one of them. I went by Club Monaco to compare their current dresses and went back today to make a final decision. I decided on a fabulous peach silk dress which was also from $315 to $95+ tax. I will definitely be coming back here for more things!

This store is large - there are several in NYC but this one located in/near Soho has a large women's and men's section and had tons of fitting rooms. Staff were super friendly and offered to get me a room while I browsed and then any other sizes if needed. Not too pushy, but around just enough. Lots of sale items inside and a huge selection. They had nearly everything you can see on the website inside this store. Clothing here is very classy and beautiful.

My boyfriend bought me a knit dress for our anniversary, he (up until now) only wore reiss. The…read moredress had a manufacturing flaw where they missed part of the arm running the seam through a machine. When I brought the dress back, they only had one identical dress but it was dirty, covered in makeup and dust. The manager even made a comment how it was just sitting in a dirty shelf... nice sales training. We were aware through other shopping visits that's there is a tailor reiss uses that's at a store nearby. I asked about the possibility of their tailor fixing the dress as the other only available in the city was dirty and he told me I'd have to pay the tailor to fix it and he was rude about it. Finally after several weeks of flirtation, I made the plunge and bought two pairs of beautiful Chocolat Blu T-strap pumps (Odessa in camel and Odette in rust). Their shoes are extremely well-made, comfortable, and classically chic. I love that the shoes have solid, tough rubber soles that properly grip the floor and won't send you slipping and falling on your rear, but have dainty, demure, elegant uppers. I picked up three different shoes and ask a sales rep to see them in my size ( I thought by picking up all three at once that would save them a few trips). The "lady" who I asked for help acted like she could not be bothered with me, she rolled her eyes and radioed someone else to come help me. Then that "lady" rolled her eyes and grabbed the shoes out of my hand. As I tried them on (she brought each up one by one, which doesn't make sense) she was no where to be found. I liked all three pairs and was going to buy them but when I got to the cash register no one was there. Based on the attitude I got just for asking for a pair of shoes I didn't want to "bother" them with a request to pay for my shoes. I put the shoes on the counter and left. Such rude service I didn't want to give them my money anyway. The dress code must be very lax there. One of the "ladies" was wearing a belly shirt?? All in all they have cute shoes at reasonable prices but the service or lack of service is ridiculous. I've never felt more like a burden to an employee before in my life.
