We also had the blessing of experiencing Miss Ruthie for a short time. The way she loves these children and pours God's love into them is beautiful to witness. Even in that short time, she made such a wonderful impression. Now we are ending our preschool journey with Miss Esther, and I could not have wished for a better final teacher. I had heard so many amazing things about her and advocated for my daughter to be in her class. She has been everything I hoped for and more. Her patience, kindness, and love shine through in everything she does. Watching my daughter grow, both as a little girl and in her faith, has been such a gift. Miss Esther has truly been a blessing. And Miss Lorraine, the preschool director, is simply wonderful. Her love for the children is so evident, and she helps create an environment where families feel welcomed and children feel cherished. My oldest daughter attended Montessori, and while that was her own journey, I truly wish she could have experienced this preschool, too. No substantial consequences for the criminals. Bullying is a part of the culture. Rarely do the offenders receive more than a, "talking to" for their offences. Pay the money and go to a private school or opt to Ybarra or Oswalt. You won't regret it.

We were brand new to Rowland Heights and didn't know our way around but we live VERY close to the school, so I had my daughter walk home on her first day because of my work schedule. Well, she got lost. The school responded immediately when I showed up at their office. Mrs. Kim, and a P.E. teacher who remembered my daughter (because she looks different than every other student) got in a car to search and the assistant principal called the district safety officer, who drove around in search. Everyone in the office was concerned and involved. Mrs. Kim was the one who found her because she noticed her curly hair. She called me right away. It was a very happy ending and I felt like the school really went above and beyond to help me find my kid. Other than that, we have had a great school year here. I like the informational calls from the principal and other faculty. They really care and it shows.

Just a few days ago my daughter was attacked by a little boy. He struck her in the face twice on purpose and admitted it to the vice principal. The vice principal did not care about what happened to my daughter and did not suspend the little boy. Although, there is a zero tolerance policy for hitting another student. This school does not care for your children's safety. Please, be careful sending them here. The administration, especially the vice principal Chelsea Rhodes has absolutely no empathy for what my daughter has stuffed in the past years. I hope someone important reads this review and contacts me immediately because I am ready to take legal action towards this establishment.

Yet another church that seems to be filled with great people. It's interesting to see so many different churches becuase you get a quick snap shot of different cultures and environments for worship. I know this church is moving locations but personally, I think the elementary school location is actually pretty neat. You already have classrooms and a playground for the kids so its very family friendly. Kind of an off week because apparently many of the women were out on a retreat. Anyway, I think it's a good church. Close to the right mix of people although closer to the younger side. Good sermon on Hebrews. The Senior Pastor Steve was very welcoming and friendly. God will lead us the right way eventually. Just glad to have had the exposure we did.
