She has been wonderful and she sees the talent and shortcomings of each individual student and works accordingly with them as far as I have experienced. We were brand new to Rowland Heights and didn't know our way around but we live VERY close to the school, so I had my daughter walk home on her first day because of my work schedule. Well, she got lost. The school responded immediately when I showed up at their office. Mrs. Kim, and a P.E. teacher who remembered my daughter (because she looks different than every other student) got in a car to search and the assistant principal called the district safety officer, who drove around in search. Everyone in the office was concerned and involved. Mrs. Kim was the one who found her because she noticed her curly hair. She called me right away. It was a very happy ending and I felt like the school really went above and beyond to help me find my kid. Other than that, we have had a great school year here. I like the informational calls from the principal and other faculty. They really care and it shows.

Although we raised our son in an asian culture, we do not speak enough mandarin at home. We are amazed on how much mandarin my son understands via speaking, writing, and reading. I didn't think he will pick up much mandarin since we do not speak mandarin at home but we are so amazed on how much he knows. The faculty at Tzu Chi are very nurturing and caring. It's great the class is small so the kids get more attention and care. The school is very safe and they also organized a lot of school activities so we are well connected. My son looks forward in going to school everyday. He goes to the school with smiles and he comes back home with a even bigger smiles.
