I would encourage that your tree removal needs are reviewed with 3 to 4 competent contractors. Include G&V in that group. We had a very large oak on the side of our home. With fallen branches, the lack of leaves and a hollowed out squirrel home in its trunk it was time to take the tree down or it would come down on its own. I did my due diligence, and spoke with multiple tree contractors. Next, I scheduled an appointment with G&V. Mario came out to my home. He later explained that he personally reviews potential work, determines required equipment and personnel to ensure it's done right and he can stand behind a proposal. Within a few days of accepting the proposal, G&V, was at my home with a caravan of equipment & personnel. They started work on time, Mario was there, and they spent an hour setting up their equipment. Look at the photos. They arrived with a crane, a man-lift, a skid steer with a tree attachment, a heavy duty tree chipper and a truck to receive shredded debris. My neighbors came out of their homes and watched this crew work. Some were saying this was the most exciting thing to happen in our neighborhood for a while. I'll get to the point. G&V showed up on time, spent an hour setting up their equipment and then safely/ methodically took apart a large oak without any damage to my home, my neighbor's property or the bushes at the base of the Oak (I thought they would be destroyed). G&V has shown again that they have a well planned, efficient and professional operation.

I'll try best to be short but in details about my experience with Ivo Pereira the owner of E trucking. I found him on Facebook with 2 others who does exact same service to level and grade area around my house. "X" company offer was to pay me $20 per load to dump on my property but I have to hire someone to spread, grade and do post construction repairs, then Hydro seeding. "Y" company pay me nothing but offered all above golf course quality of grading and seeding, piping underground of all the rain spouts to drain away from my house bringing topsoil to all the disturbed areas, also I have tree line at the back of the house they will push all the dead trees and clean up so I would burn later all 4/5 months project. Now comes Evo from E trucking offered me all the above MATCHING WHAT "Y" Company offered but 2/3 months project. We picked E Trucking for the fact we needed the project to be completed quickly. Day one I gave left over Geofabric roll for his construction entrance because I didn't see use for it at that time , but he ended getting more of it later to complete his entrance, later almost at end of the project I needed some of fabric so I took what he left onsite back , before doing so I told his operator and labors that I have use of it and it's a replacement of what I gave him before ,so i received the OK from both , it's a $100 left over roll but he still accused me of stealing , I gave it back to him next day ( it was a disgusting accusation and conversation that's why I brought up). Our agreement was verbal but we agreed also to put in writing and he said he will bring the contract using his famous term "the game plan tomorrow" which will never happen , This is the very first thing you need to make sure if you hire Ivo , don't fall for his promises , he will make sure to sell you the best dreams so you feel that all will be completed your way but every single thing will be done his way according to his schedule and benefit , he kept saying will bring the scope of work and put all in writing but neither him nor his partner Bill brought this contract , trucks were coming to my neighborhood in a very fast pace , he told me and I heard from his phone calls that he got a contract with Micron technology new construction project in Manassas , I have videos and pictures supporting what I'm saying no less than 150 trucks on a full day and not less than 100 truck on slow day, the pace of trucks showing to my private street was crazy all my neighbors panicked neighborhood street got destroyed at several spots , in addition to all aggressive drivers , they went off the road at several areas , socialize sitting side by side blocking a one lane street with heavy loaded trucks made a mess on my neighbors properties and driveways , hitting mail box and sinking tires in ditches, and urinating in public on my street and property . Ivo was making lots of money so he was telling me that he will be fixing all the damages from his trucks , he did not want me to stop or slow his trucks so he was returning my messages instantly saying he will do the repairs , I wish if I can be just to the speed of dirt delivery pace , imagine no less than 1500 trucks come to your street Monday to Friday for month and a half , finally all the fill dirt needed arrived , now time for top soil he promised me to bring , this is the other type of his lies , he will bring you trash brown dirt full of rocks and branches , metal pipes , silt fence etc. .. and call it topsoil, It was ok with me because he said he will screen all the rocks and bring 3 helpers all what they'll do is picking up trash (never happened) , he also said will bring screened top soil for the front, I said ok and even though I knew he made a bank from my project I still told him yes to bring screened top soil and I'll pay for it (never happened). Finally this another month of nightmares with his lies and fake promises to show up and never shows up. Now it's time to hydro seed the property , after canceling so many times and stalling by promising me to show up on a day that he previously picked from weather forecast as a rainy day ,he cancels saying cannot do work it's too wet , when I call him to send someone to finish the job he checks the weather they call for rain at 1 pm he tell me I'll send someone today at 1 pm , but guess what , it does not rain and still no one shows up , after cornering me blaming me that I was rushing him after 2 months to finish and hydro seed he says all hydro seeding companies are busy and weeks behind which I did not mind to wait for but he never contacted them to schedule them , he was planning to rent a tank and do himself , after many arguments he ended up sending me his guys seeding almost 6 acres with regular spreader and shot straw , imagine what the final product I got , seeds thrown on solid compacted dirt.

On Saturday he said he was on my way to my house but alas, he didn't show until 4 hours later. I asked him for a time to expect him but he never let me know. I have a contract with them but he is very unresponsive and my yard looked terrible as we were over 2 weeks without a cut at the end of May and early June. I thought the issues that I had when I initially contracted with him to mulch and seed my yard in the spring were an anomaly but they appear instead to be part of a pattern. After first contacting him to do Spring bed clean-up and mulching, I waited 3 plus weeks and they never showed even though he stated they would mulch within the week after receiving the contract. When I finally was able to reach him, I had to insist that they do the work as they wanted to wait another 2 weeks which would have put us into late May for mulching and seeding and over 5 weeks from the initial request for service. (Then he never cleaned up/trimmed the plants in the side gardens. ) The delays, unresponsiveness, and lack of communication and the fact that he clearly misled, if not outright lied, to me about being on his way are indicative of the poor customer service and an unreliable business. I would advise you to avoid working with Pine Ridge Landscaping.
