I keep writing Yelp reviews for Hollabaugh Bros. And honestly... I don't think I'm ever going to stop. Every festival I attend somehow becomes my new favorite, and this year's 71st Annual Blueberry Festival was no exception. I visited last year and had such a great time that coming back this summer wasn't even a question. In fact, I thought this year's festival felt even bigger, which was wonderful to see. Even with everything getting more expensive these days, Hollabaugh Bros. continues to put together an event that's affordable, welcoming and packed with things to do. I arrived about two hours before the festival wrapped up for the weekend and expected things might be winding down. Nope! The place was still buzzing with people enjoying one last taste of blueberry season! If you love blueberries...this event is your Super Bowl. Fresh blueberries. Pick-your-own blueberries. Blueberry baked goods. Blueberry milkshakes. Blueberry sundaes. Product samples featuring blueberry everything. Food trucks. Local artisans. Live music. It's basically blueberry paradise! My personal lineup for the afternoon included a blueberry milkshake, one of their incredible blueberry sugar cakes and a pint of fresh blueberries to take home since I didn't have time to pick my own this year. I found a spot to sit, enjoyed my milkshake and sugar cake while listening to the live music and thought to myself...yep...this is exactly where I'm supposed to be today. One thing that continues to impress me every single time I visit Hollabaugh Bros. is how incredibly well they run these events. From the parking attendants directing traffic...to the cashiers...to the ladies keeping the sample room stocked...to the bakery staff helping customers...everyone is friendly, organized and genuinely happy to help! PRO TIP: Don't skip the sample room! It's one of my favorite parts of every festival. You get to taste all kinds of products made right there on the farm, and I've discovered several things I never would have purchased otherwise. I also appreciate that the overall layout stays consistent from one festival to the next. After you've visited once, it's incredibly easy to find your favorite stops on future visits without wandering around trying to remember where everything is. I drive about 50 minutes each way to attend Hollabaugh Bros. festivals. That alone should tell you how much I enjoy them. They're not just farmers market events. They're community celebrations. You see families making memories, friends catching up over milkshakes, kids running around excitedly and visitors filling bags with whatever fruit happens to be in season. It's exactly the kind of event that makes summer in Pennsylvania feel special. There's a reason this festival has been going strong for 71 years. Hollabaugh Bros. knows how to grow incredible fruit. More importantly, they know how to create experiences that keep people coming back year after year. I'm already looking forward to seeing what they're celebrating next! read more

I see no reason to not rate it with five stars. There's a large selection of products here. They have dairy, produce, seasonal products as well as coffee and ice cream, to name a few. read more

Lots of staff to help you pick or find what you want from ice cream, honey, exterior plants, or fruits and vegetables. It is a large farmers market with plenty of parking and choices depending on the season. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are a little higher than other markets, but you get a larger selection. read more

I have made at least one visit here annually for three years now. I love going! I always buy cider, apples, and the cider donuts. It is in a picturesque spot and the folks who work inside are upbeat and ready to help. They have a large selection of delicious things. I always try something new. This year I took my wife because I wanted to her to have the experience. We munched on apple cider donuts all weekend. This is a great spot and definitely worth a visit. read more

We had fun looking at everything and we did buy a bag full of goodies, but in my opinion it is overpriced on most items. Nice smaller roadside farm stand down the road is much more reasonably priced for the same items. I originally wanted to get fresh bagels that were on sale this week, but after looking for a while and asking, they only sell them frozen. With all the baked goods breads, cookies, pies and doughnuts, I expected fresh, not frozen. So we didn't get any. Apple cider doughnuts were good. read more

We stopped at this market during Summer of 2021 after having driven past a number of times through the years. Selection is very good, employees are friendly and produce quality is decent. Compared to some other retail places, I though that some of their fruit prices were a tad high for being a direct-to-consumer orchard store. I always thought orchards should be cheaper than grocery stores, but have found that sometimes the savings at orchards overall in our area is somewhat small. One thing for certain, you do get fresh produce there. I don't recommend the fruit slushies. I thought it was way too sweet. Baked goods are hit-or-miss. The apple bread was not too strong in apple taste as one would find at the Amish markets. My wife enjoyed the Black Bottom and Blueberry muffins and the chocolate cranberry oatmeal cookies were good. If you sign up for their emails, they send alerts for special events and a birthday discount. We have been back several times, including the Fall to buy some peaches, apples, etc. read more

A nice place to visit for all types of fresh items including baked goods. We always had a HUGE reusable bag to fill with peaches or pears or apples and we always paid a set price. NOW they have changed it. If your bag weighs over 25 pounds they now charge you per pound; the apples were 99 cents per pound. The tomatoes we purchased are delicious! read more

I LOVE THIS PLACE! This Farmers Market is an air conditioned market with lots of delicious fun local foods, crafts, cards, signs, and even classes. The farm has been around since 1955! It is 9 miles North of Gettysburg and 11 minutes from route 15 South. I especially LOVED my strawberry milkshake and some of the homemade baked goods. The cards, magnets, and crafts are very original! We will be back soon for the blueberry and apple festivals coming up! read more

This farm is an absolute gem. The fruits and vegetables are amazing. Everything is super fresh and priced to buy. The baked goods are absolutely delicious. Blueberries are the big item here. Really cool little store with lots of goodies for the kids and fresh ice cream. There are also locals who have their own recipes for pickles, relish and sauces. All great homemade stuff. My wife and I stopped in on our way through town. What a nice little shop they have here. The staff were all super helpful and it has that great "we are all family here" feel to it. I wish we lived closer because the learning events for children look like a lot of fun. We left with some local applesauce and apple butter which after tasting it won't last long!!! read more

My husband and I stopped in this establishment earlier this evening, we had our small service certified dog with us. We carried her in with us because we were all exhausted after a 6 mile hike. We were literally chased through the store by yelling employees stating that dogs were not allowed. We told them multiple times that the dog was a service dog. The employees were extremely rude, to the point of belligerence. Every question we had pertaining to products or where in the area we could purchase other products that they did not carry was met with either no answer or a very curt reply. I highly recommend to the folks that own this place familiarize themselves and their employees with the Americans with Disabilities Act, we took our business down the road to a much friendlier and better establishment, the next disabled person might not be as amiable. read more

Excellent visit this last weekend. They have pick your own fruit- mostly apples, but also pears and grapes. You pre-pay in advacne for a bag and then fill it up with whatever you like, they had samples available to see if it was too sweet or sour, etc. There was a gift shop that had cards, handicrafts, baskets, etc. They sold butter, whispped cream, bacon, etc. There was a little room which I thought was cool, it had info on bees and migrant workers. This place had rows and rows of apples, it was incredible. Farm Tours available too. read more

Great lil fruit stand, fresh flowers, fresh fruits and lots of freshly made jams, salsas, and baked goods. The slushee is homemade, they have strawberry also strawberry banana. Both are REALLY GOOD! Best slushee ever, you can taste the fresh ingredients. I love this place. read more

Every year we anxiously await the seasons of produce and go repeatedly to visit them. This year with the new store and the in store bins we find that we can visit during winter hours and still enjoy getting apples and other produce. The new store is Excellent, but what has always made Hollabaugh Bros a great place are the caring, knowledgable, employees that make each visit a treat. Love this place! Whenever I visit family, it's a must stop for quite a few treats unavailable where I now live. Their apple cider doughnuts are amazing. Even better when heated... Even more better with some of their apple cider. Cider which is so fresh it still SMELLS like fresh apples. They also have a neat selection of local crafts as well. I'd venture this is a good spot to pickup some neat unique Christmas gifts too...oh, and the apples themselves are amazing! And boy do they have a great variety... My husband and I live in DC and travel the 2.5 hours to visit Hollabaugh Bros Fruit Farm every year. However, we've notice a change the last couple of years. The fruit is not as good, the items more pricey, and the staff more impatient. This year I bought apple bread that was so stale, I ended up throwing it away. The apple cider donuts were EXACTLY what you could buy at Costco at a third of the price. The apples (stored in my refrigerator) were mushy after a week. If you live near there and can afford to check often, then perhaps you can land on a "good" day. For those of us who live far, it wasn't worth the drive. read more

Great place to get locally grown produce. Apples and peaches are delicious from here. My daughter loved to bee room and looking at the butterflies. I visited this market for the first time for their Peach Festival last weekend! LOVE! Their baked goods are amazing and the peaches and apples that we purchased were the best I have ever eaten - so very good! Their staff was so nice and helpful! Gabriel drove us back to our car in the golf cart and big bags of peaches, apples and baked goods! He was so nice and told us a lot of history about the family farm. We filled the car and came back to the festival for fresh peach sundaes. Yummy! We will be visiting this place on a regular basis to get fresh fruits and vegetables for cooking, baking, canning and freezing. 5 STARS! Don't miss this place when you are in the area! read more
