I have hired Marty. I have worked with him for more than a year…read more He repaired all my exterior GFI outlets and gave me a great price on the interior and exterior lighting updates to my home in Foley, AL. For a one truck guy, he has earned more 5-star ratings on Google that contractors that have a dozen trucks. When my wife and I first bought our home, after moving from Marietta, GA, we had no one to trust to inspect the electrical and make suggestions for cost-effective upgrades. McCord Electric showed us several options. We were not familiar with LED lighting. Marty took a lot of his time to explain the new fixtures and the pros and cons of each. This rating service has a poor reputation. I always check Google ratings for more up to date references. For instance, my comments always show here because I have been providing feedback, positive and negative, for ten years. There could be one hundred good recommendations by 100 legit people on here and the service will not allow them to show. So even is the complaint were legit, it is not fair to hide the 99 that liked someone's work.

Livewire Services installed a chandelier and six wall sconces today for me…read more The owner Troy, his son and another helper worked as a team. They knew their stuff. They were on time, and were cool about rescheduling because I had booked them for yesterday, forgetting I already booked a hair appointment that takes a while to get in and I have an event coming up so I couldn't reschedule the hair. So the Livewire team show up with great attitudes on time and give an estimate for a fair price, especially considering they have to install this big chandelier to a ceiling that's about 22' high!! Honestly it's scary just watching! Of course they had to remove the old one and we were in for a huge surprise there was no electric box!! The previous owners must have hillbilly rigged the old fixture and it was dangerously not up to code, they simply pulled a wire through the drywall and secured a heavy fixture with expanding butterfly bolts ( I forgot what they are called) but it's supposed to be anchored to studs and attached to an electric box. It was a lot of extra work but they didn't charge extra. They cleaned up after themselves and were really nice. They even hauled off my boxes for me that the fixtures came in. They were easy going and I felt comfortable with them in my home. I highly recommend Livewire Services they are good guys who do good work at fair prices.

That aside, I did speak to the owner ray that evening and he was a very kind person and very helpful and guaranteed me the techs would be out first thing in the morning to start working in the new pump and they for sure were! Everything seems to be working great now, time will tell for the quality of work but for this far I would recommend
