History

Established in 1992.

Holistic Healing Arts started as a small Naturopathic Clinic by Dr. Alfred Hauk in a small one room office in Brantford. It has grow to a multi-disciplanary clinic with 5 NDs, an Osteopath, Registered Massage Therapist! It also offers a large IV suite, compounding, a professional dispensary and much more.

Meet the Business Owner: Alfred H.

Dr. Alfred Hauk, N.D. was born in Greifswald, Germany, and raised in Alberta, Canada. Dr. Hauk was introduced to the power of Naturopathic Medicine in his childhood. After a career change in the 1980s, he completed his pre-med program at the University of Alberta. In 1990, Dr. Hauk graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in Toronto. Later that year he wrote and passed the Ontario provincial licensing exams. Until his busy practice made it impractical, Dr. Hauk taught Nutrition and Nutritional Biochemistry at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. He continued to work at the college teaching and supervising 4th-year clinicians for many years.
