I am extremely disappointed with our experience in the endoscopy pre-op area at Juravinski…read moreHospital. The pre-op nurse, Jenna, did not clearly explain the procedure or what we should expect. When we asked reasonable questions to better understand the process, she appeared irritated and dismissive, which significantly increased our anxiety before the procedure. She demonstrated a clear lack of compassion and empathy. Patients and their families deserve patience, clear communication, and professionalism especially in a vulnerable medical setting. Instead, we felt like we were being treated as an inconvenience. During the interaction, she also made a point of telling my wife that she is Filipino. This felt unnecessary and unrelated to the medical care being provided, and it made the interaction even more uncomfortable. Most concerning, I overheard what appeared to be negative comments about us in the reception area. Speaking about patients in that manner, within earshot of others, is unprofessional and unacceptable. Healthcare requires not only clinical competence but also respect, discretion, and compassion. Unfortunately, this experience did not reflect those standards. I hope hospital leadership takes this matter seriously and addresses the need for improved professionalism and patient-centered care.

Other chiropractors only worked on manually manipulating my spine with one of those guns. Dr. Alex goes through different movements of the back, and also works on the neck which is very important to me, and makes sense as everything is connected. My back has never felt so good, and I haven't gone to see him in months. He genuinely wants you to feel better and to go long periods without seeing him. My boyfriend has just gone to his second appointment, and went from not being able to turn his head from neck pain, to now being able to look all around. It's crazy to experience the progress second hand, as well as first hand. Highly recommend Dr. Alex Angel to anyone considering!
