A few Wednesday ago, I was in Blaine for a pickle pickup. It went well…read more Afterwards, I had two quick errands to complete before heading back to my hotel room for a work meeting: - Grab lunch - Get some drinks and snacks I visited this Walgreens first, followed by Arby's for lunch. Perfect! There was lots of parking in this plaza. I backed into a spot and headed over to this store. I was immediately greeted by Easter items. I was pleased that cute Squishmallows were a part of this welcome squad. I briefly looked at the nail care section. It was great. There was nail polish remover in a number of forms, polish, gel stickers, fake nails, and more. There were more Squishmallows in the seasonal Easter aisle. It was also Valentine's Day, so I saw candy for both occasions. I did not buy any Valentine's Day merchandise. I decided to wait a day, to take advantage of clearance sales that likely would happen. I needed pop. I got a couple of two-litre bottles. I was thrilled to see Diet A&W root beer. It's not as common as Diet Dr Pepper. I took a bottle each of these flavours. I also got popcorn. I headed to the checkout. There was one person ahead of me. I didn't have to wait long. I got a woman who was competent. She ended up putting a bottle in a plastic bag. It was different. I would have double-bagged both bottles. To each, her own. I paid with a credit card. At Walgreens, the payment kiosk prompts whether you want to pay in USD or CAD with a Canadian credit card. I always go with USD and have my credit card do the exchange. I got a coupon for $7 off my next purchase of at least $15. I thanked the woman and headed to my car. This store had everything that I needed. I wish that I had more time to browse. The next time I'm back in Blaine, I hope that I can take my time shopping here. (87)

My top reason for frequenting this Walgreens is because it's close and on my way home. I think…read morethere's another Walgreens that's closer, but it's not on the roads I usually take, so I prefer this one. There's been a few times I've rushed in 10 minutes before close (sorry!) desperately needing something. The employees have been understanding and friendly, despite what I'm sure is an annoyance. Usually there aren't any cars in the drive-thru, but if there are, be forewarned that it moves slow. Still, I hold no animosity because the workers are friendly. It's my neighborhood Walgreens and it works just fine.

I've been disappointed for the whole calendar year regarding the produce. For example, how long is…read morea pint of raspberries supposed to last? When I buy at Walmart, a week is easy; from Festival , by day 3 o4 they are moldy. Other berries apply as well. I brought them back and received new containers a couple of times but there has been no improvement and I just go to Walmart now for all of my produce. It's cheaper and fresher. Perhaps Festival gets a purchasing discount on produce if it's getting old? And sell it higher? The higher prices are already enough for me to make the switch. I've been a customer at that Festival for 20 years but my opinion is much lower now - obviously.

The staff are always so friendly and helpful, and the specialty foods they stock their shelves with are sooooo good and 3x less than other stores! Just had to give a shout out to all the staff working today. It was so busy with Christmas only a week away. These employees were working their butts off. The younger girl stocking produce was a beast! Those boxes are heavy and this girl was tackling through a pallet like no one's business! The middle aged woman who was shopping for on line costumer was so efficient! I swear she filled 3 carts and took them out by the time I finished my shopping! The 70's looking young man at the checkout kept this line moving along with being kind. I hate grocery shopping! I mean hate it, but when you go to a store where the employees know what they're doing, friendly, and working their butts off you can't help but feel thankful!!! So thank you Aldi for training and treating your employees well! holiday can be stressful, but just a reminder of how much food there is if you just take a moment to look! Thank you to all the hard working people who work for this Company and Merry Christmas
