Total wine In Maple Grove is great for most of your alcoholic needs and fantastic prices as it's basically a giant warehouse. They also offer tastings and classes on wine and spirits. Was not a big fan of the wine class I took but it was ok for the $. If you are looking for more unique or organic wines then you are better off at a smaller boutique liquor store . Total wine in Maple Grove is a staple. We hold Total wine to the same regard as a Target - it's part of our regular errands and had a wide enough selection at an affordable price that were always stocked on liquor, beer, and wine. We put in a large wine and liquor pick up order on a Friday evening, and we received great service. The order was completed in under two hours, it included everything we ordered, and the staff who delivered it to our car were very friendly and helpful. Inside the store, you'll find a wide variety of wine- and liquor-themed gadgets and gifts, and even more helpful staff. The store itself is well-lit, open, and we'll-organized. For a wine store that covers multiple regions, they have a great selection. I highly recommend a visit! read more

Things are relatively easy to find, but it's nice to look up the specific brand online because then you can find the aisle number to help locate what you need. My 2nd favorite Total Wine! (Roseville Is #1) Total Wine is basically like Target to me! I grab a cart and walk up & down EVERY aisle. Lol. I never want to miss anything new, especially seasonal stuff. Every visit I buy a little of everything- wine, beer or cider & hard liquor! There is usually staff in every area to assist with suggesting products to buy or help find things in general. They are always helpful when needed. The store is always neat & organized as well as stocked! I appreciate that so much. Prices are always great here! I also like that I can build by own pack of beer/cider. It always me to try different stuff before I commit to buying a whole pack. I know most liquor stores offer this but their selections are not as big as Total Wines! Came to Total Wine totally expecting to find 1 of the 5 wines recommended on my list. Granted I have been more than happy in the past with their selection, but as I thoroughly scanned through their selection I was super disappointed. I found in the sauvignon blanc section the same wine was in 3 different spots just filling space. I realize this is a tactic to fill at a store, but really wasn't fond of their selection in the Moscato and Riesling area as well. I was happy to find my new favorite cider, so that was a bonus. But, as big of a store as it is some selections of wine felt limited. I really appreciated the Covid precautions, curbside pick up with priority parking, masks required, plexiglass barrier for cashier and customer, as well as, social distancing dots at check out and posted around the store. read more

OMG!! A total wine is finally in MG!!! We have been awaiting the opening and it has not disappointed. Yes, it is busy but why not??? Deals upon deals and the selection is amazing. I was a it intimidated at first wondering how would I even start but the way they have the rows labeled made it easy and the if I couldn't find it, there are plenty of workers that were ready to help me with any question. They have such great deals on wine, liquor and beer. I am all about trying new brands and when the price is $3-$5 for some sections, I don't feel guilty about getting a few! I also saw they carry a good variety of gifts where a glass or something extra comes with and since I was there around the holidays, they had displays of miniature liquor bottles that were great for stocking stuffers. In the back they have a classroom style section here events would be held, I will definitely have yo check one that I like out soon! read more

They have the wine selection pretty spread out around the store but very well organized which is helpful when looking for that one wine that you've tried but cant remember the name of. You have lost our business. We were in tonight 5-19-18 around 9:30 picking out some wine and beer. When we were checking out, my boyfriend decided to pay with cash. The total came out to 19.31 and he paid with a ten, a five, and 5 ones. The cashier (blonde in her mid twenties) proceeded to ask him if he was a server (he replied no), then decided to ask him if he was a stripper and said she needed a stripper for a bachelorette party. I can not believe how disrespectful and idiotic this interaction was. We were completely aghast and pissed off as we left. If you can not employ people who have class and can give decent customer service, we will shop at any of the multiple liquor stores in the area. We do not care about your prices. I felt like I had just entered wine heaven when I started walking around this place. I am now officially a die hard Total Wine fan. The store was spacious, clean and well put together. It wasn't your average liquor store! I planned on only buying three bottles of wine but ended up purchasing 12. That's what this place will do to you! The abundant selection and jaw dropping prices definitely has an effect on shoppers. I also saw a nice selection of hard liquor as well. I received a coupon in the mail for a complimentary wine tote and glass ware to commemorate their grand opening in Maple Grove which drew me to visit. I also wanted to see what all the hoopla was about since my peers have talked this store up since there's a number of locations in MN. Total Wine has totally won my business and heart over. I really have nothing bad to say it's my favorite place to be. The staff is very helpful. They are very informative as also. I've came i with multiple questions where certain things are located and instead of just saying down this aisle they personally walk you there . If you ask for suggestions they ask what you like what's the price range and they offer suggestions . It's so clean aisles are super organized. I swear I've never seen anything out of place. They offer selections from around the world and different craft beers from throughout the United States. Pricing is way cheaper than other liquor stores . I love this place. So happy it's so close ! I can't believe this was my first time here! I unfortunately came about 30 minutes before close on a week night....big mistake as I found myself in beer and wine heaven and could have spent the rest of eternity exploring all the varieties available! However with 30 minutes to run through the store to grab a box of wine I ended up having to go back up to grab a cart for a few 6 packs of MN brews I've never seen in stores until now. The staff I interacted with were knowledgable, friendly, and helpful. The prices were also VERY reasonable which will get me coming back again soon. read more

Terrible customer service. I had an online order to pick up yesterday,said it was ready. Got to the pick up desk and no one was there. There was an employee to the right of me stocking shelf's, she glanced over to me several times and every time I walked towards her she would walk away and come right back. Asked another employee, she said she wasn't able to do pick up orders, gave a reason but walked by really fast. She proceeded to go stand and talk with another employee at the customer service desk. I went back to the pick up desk an employee walked out of the bathroom, I asked for help she looked over at the first employee I saw and asked her for help. She said her radio was dead and left me there. I didn't see once that they called for someone, by now I have been there for almost 10 mins with no help. FYI it was not busy. Young gentleman comes up and asks if I had a pick up order, gave my name and he went to grab it and was back in no more than 2 minutes. The order had 7 cases. I do thank him but as for the rest of the staff, I will never go back to this total wine and will take my business elsewhere, will recommend family and friends go elsewhere as well. read more

Yeah, could have been much, much better organized. Everything is kind of everywhere and nowhere at the same time. There doesn't seem to be any real logic or plan about where things are in the store(s). I went to two different stores to find a particular scotch and a particular beer and finding them was quite difficult and quite unnecessarily difficult. It appears that having everything organized in a haphazard way is corporate policy because both stores were identical in that exact way. Can't you just have all of the whiskies in one aisle, no matter where they are from, or what kind of whisky they are? Can't you have all of the local Mn brewery products all in the same place, maybe organized by brewery? And the brewery products from other states clearly marked and organized? Is that so difficult? Generally speaking, those of us who drink craft beer know pretty much specifically what we are looking for, and do not want to spend twenty minutes trying to track it down in amongst all of the other (non craft) beers. I didn't shop for wine so I cannot comment on that, but I do know that another quite well known liquor store which is known for its wine selection is so much better organized that I will be going there from now on for my beer and spirits needs. Yes, they are more expensive on some things but time is money, as they say. And they have a cheese store too as an added bonus. read more

My yellow slip was issued 31 days ago and because it was 1 day over 30 days they denied my ID from even a sample. read more

Total Wine has great prices and an extensive selection of cognac, wine, and belgium beer (our favorites). What is curious to me however, is that certain types of alcohol (such as Hennessy, Remy Martin, and Grey Goose) are behind glass despite relative low prices. Bottles like A de Fussigny with a similar price (our favorite) and bottles over a hundred dollars of brands not so popular are right next to it free to grab without assistance. Why is it so that the brands that are so popular in the urban and young community are behind glass? I only ask this because when I shop and ask for a bottle behind glass it makes me feel uncomfortable that I am walked all the way up to the counter, regardless of the bottle's price, while I might want to continue shopping. It seems to me that certain populations are specifically being monitored instead of being treated equal to the other customers. read more

I'm all for small local businesses, and try to shop at them anytime possible, but Total Wine & More is my weakness. From the moment I walked in, I was in wine drinkers heaven! The store is absolutely gigantic! There is no possible way you could go in and not find what you are looking for. It can be a bit overwhelming and intimidating, but that is where the wonderful staff comes in. My first trip in I was browsing the aisles and was approached by one of the staff that made some great suggestions in various price points for me. I live in the St Cloud area and Total Wine makes it very clear that Westside Liquor has been gouging us in the St Cloud area for years. I purchased a mixed case of wine from Total Wine last Saturday and thought their prices were good. Westside Liquor is having their wine dot sale right now so I went in to see how Westside's prices compare to Total Wine and it was no contest. Total Wine's regular prices were $16 cheaper than Westside's dot sale prices on the exact wines that I had in the mixed case I bought at Total Wine. Prices aren't the only thing that make Total better. Total Wine is very clean and pleasing to the eye. They are very well organized and the employees are knowledgeable and helpful. I can't justify spending another cent at Westside since I am in the Vicinity of Maple Grove's Total Wine about twice a month. read more

Cons: Misleading pricing. About 70% of the time the prices on the labels do not match what is rung up at the register. Today, the person in front of me also noticed a product being rung up at a higher price! Since I always calculate my bill before checking out, I catch their "mistake" every time. And it has happened at the Bloomington Total Wine locations also. The prices are anywhere from $.50 to $3 more at the register, in my experience. I'm guessing they do it on purpose and hope people don't notice after tax has been added. I will still shop here, but I wish they wouldn't waste my time while I wait for a manager to come and enter the correct price. I also wish they wouldn't try to scam people like this. Buy alcohol never cigars. Great selection for alcohol of all kinds, really appeals to every type of style! Decent size humidor for cigars, but not an excellent selection or array. I would recommend going to Tobacco Grove up the street if you intend to buy cigars. read more

Worst customer service I've ever experienced tonight. I have come here many times and have always encountered the friendliest staff. This time they harassed me for having my brother with me and refused to sell me the wine I needed to purchase as a gift. Even though this is the only wine shop that sells Kunde Family Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon I will NEVER shop here again due to the absurdly rude and awful way I was treated. Hire better management and don't be rude to customers who are about to spend hundreds of dollars. read more

Does not live up to the hype. It has a decent selection, but not leaps and bounds more than other stores in the area. The prices are ok, but again, except for the few sale items, their prices are as high or higher than the competition. The staff is rude and unhelpful. For a place called Total Wine, the staff on hand seems to have zero knowledge of local wines and only a passing knowledge of French and Californian wines. The parking lot is a disaster. Don't even try going on a Friday night or Saturday because you'll spend a ridiculous amount of time fighting parking lot traffic jams. read more

Total Wine in Maple Grove is easy to get to if you are driving between the St. Cloud area and the Cities. The store is clean and very organized. The prices are much better than at any stores in the St. Cloud and Sartell area. The staff were helpful and seemed very knowledgeable. read more
