Night Lake View from my room

The hotel is well located and easy to get to from the highway and the front, sides, and rear of the exterior was fantastic very inviting. Now, let's talk about the interior they (hotel) are making improvements which look good but some little details are being over looked. 1- shower/tub area an attempt at a patch which looks horrible (close to tub near floor) 2- elevator corner bead missing screws 3- seating at gazebo paint chipping (minor but a detail) 4- toilet flush handle not working Something I was a bit confused about the ice machines are located on floors 4,5,and 6 that was a bummer if I wanted ice which I did so I had to go from 2nd floor up to one of those floors. However, on a positive note they have washer and dryer if you need them. The hotel offers dine-in breakfast which had the basic meal buffet (eggs bacon, sausage, cereal juice, toast, coffee). The service from the minute I checked-in was outstanding and everyone I encountered the four days of being there were impeccable. I will return and look forward to enjoying myself in a freshly improved hotel. Here is my thought you should go stay for a few nights and see if you enjoy as much as I did. SIDE NOTE: BUC- EEs is 5 minutes away

The entryway was nice when walking in the Christmas tree was the first thing you saw. Our room was under $90.00. Got a king room had a couch so it made it easy to watch TV. But the views were the best. Had a pool and lake view it was nice watching the birds and ducks in the lake. No free breakfast had a restaurant and bar. The only exit to the pool was through the restaurant which I thought was a little weird. Staff was friendly and it was close to the international world of golf.

Don't let the name confuse you. The St. Augustine Hotel & Suites is just off of I-95 which is a long way from the actual City of St. Augustine. So if you're going to be going back and forth from the old part of St. Augustine to this hotel, you might be in for a traffic nightmare of a journey, maybe around 10 miles or so. Nevertheless, St. Augustine Hotel & Suites is a really super nice place to stay and affordable as well. It's also big, like about 6 floors, has a lovely pool, two gazebos to lounge around under and it is right upon a waterfront area in the back with nice waterfront views. The place is spotlessly clean and the staff super friendly as well as accommodating. The lobby is huge and the complimentary dining area is big enough to accommodate everyone. Their complimentary food, basically sausage gravy on biscuits, scrambled eggs and bacon are all rather decent. The place sort of looks like a Comfort Inn, but the rooms are extra-large and rather well appointed. I stayed here for five nights and really got to like St. Augustine Hotel & Suites. That would also be in comparison to Comfort Inns, Sleep Inns, Red Roofs, Budget, Days Inn or the like. Hence, Four Stars.

Horrible- I did not sleep because the smell of must was so overwhelming. The front desk did not seem to care, the walls were chipped and the tubs had rust around the drain. My sink took forever to drain and the toilet ran continuously- My regret is not reading other past guest reviews before booking - but it was a convenient location while needing to stop for a quick night. I would have been happier sleeping in my car.

This hotel was terrible. It took 20min to check in because the front desk staff wasn't there. Then when I got to my room it smelled like mold. The table and chairs were stacked onto the sofa. The trash cans were on the bureau and night stand. Breakfast I wouldn't pay for what they serve you. Burnt potatoes bag of egg omelet, mush veggies. Then when I went to get my receipt for the stay they couldn't even print it out. Took about her 15 min and they finally e-mailed it to me. What a disappointment not to IHG standard

Although the hotel was about 20 minutes from downtown, the reasonable price during a busy holiday weekend made it a good choice. We checked in at 3:00 PM, but there was a slight delay, and we had to wait around 30 minutes to get the keys to our room. Our room had two double-sized king beds, which were comfortable and spacious enough for our family of three to share one bed easily. The only issue we faced during our stay was with the air conditioner. We set it to automatic, but it was either too cold or too warm, making it difficult to maintain a consistent temperature in the room. On the positive side, the breakfast provided by the hotel was included in our stay and was delicious. It was convenient to have a good breakfast without needing to spend extra money. Overall, our stay at Holiday Inn Express & Suites was comfortable, and we didn't encounter any major problems.

My husband and I booked three nights at this hotel to enjoy a long weekend in St. Augustine. We…read morenoticed ants in our room immediately, so requested a room change, which they promptly did. We held our breath however, because our first room was 206 and they moved us to 306, so we wondered if we would have the same issue. The second room initially seemed fine, so we unpacked our things and went out to enjoy the "Nights of Lights." We also had stopped at a German bakery along the way and had $30 of pastries in a box that we placed on a high shelf, just in case. On returning to our room about 10:30pm, we noticed ants again, everywhere, on the bedside table, the bathroom sink, bathroom wall, and kitchenette counter. I went to the front desk again, but they informed us there was nothing they could do as they were fully booked for the night. We felt like we were stuck for the night, so went back to the room and sat down to eat a pastry only to discover the box was crawling with ants! We packed up our things and went back downstairs and informed the desk it was worse than we realized and we were leaving. Since we booked through a third party, they informed us we had to contact the third party to request a refund. We made the three hour drive home at midnight. The next morning we contacted the third party, who then reached out to the hotel directly to get approval for the refund. The agent came back and said the hotel was only willing to refund us for two nights, not three! I asked to escalate the issue with a supervisor and explained that we should not be charged for a room we did not spend the night in. She called the hotel again and said the hotel was firm about only refunding us for two nights. Thankfully the third party agreed to refund us the other night, which they certainly did not have to do. It appears this is an ongoing problem, because I have now seen another review with complaints of ants and the hotel being unwilling to refund them as well. So not only is there an ant infestation, but there is also a lack of basic customer service from management. DO NOT stay at this hotel ever!

He's really into parkour, and the weekly program gives him a great mix of structured learning and active play. The instructors are friendly and knowledgeable, and I appreciate that they break the kids into smaller groups of about eight, which helps keep things more manageable. That said, with so many kids in the gym at once, it can get a bit chaotic. The instructors rotate frequently, which makes it harder to track individual progress, but on the plus side, it means my son gets to learn from different coaching styles. The staff is on the younger side, but they bring a lot of energy and enthusiasm, which keeps the kids engaged. One thing I really like is how they change up the course and layout every week and focus on different themes to keep things fresh and exciting. Overall, it's been a great experience, and my son always looks forward to going. A little more consistency with coaching would be nice, but if your kid is into parkour, this is a great place to train and have fun! They also offer a paid trial class and fee for open gym if you're interested in checking it out. They also have themed special events such as Fortnite Night, Minecraft, Ninja Warrior Night, etc. They also offer options for camp and focused clinics.

The coaches have all been really great, especially Coach Addison and Coach Nick. They are all very patient with my 4 year old son and work hard to keep the kids safe.
