Panetela borasha with guava in middle. Bad!
Danay M.

This Desert is hard like if it was refrigerated for days. Also the flavor takes like when you leave something with out a cover inside the refrigerator. Horrible. It's supposed to be a panetela boracha with guava in the middle. Not good.

Great variety

Absolutely love this Bakery although it's always packed!! But that's what happens to good things, you have to wait. They have your typical Bakery items: Croquettas, pastelitos etc. all made deliciously! Then they also have a variety of little sandwiches which i love! breakfast with eggs, pastries and more. They're in a great location with cute outdoor seating. Although if they could expand that would be great, because it sure gets crowded in there. The prices are fair compared to other bakeries and the staff is really organized with a ticket number system so although there's always a line you wont wait forever. Great place for your weekday morning breakfast.

Terrible service. Everyone is always in a bad mood, and rushing you. They always look depressed. It drives me nuts. Even when I order over the phone, when they confirm my order, they immediately hang up. Ummmmm how about a "Thank you", or a "see you soon" maybe even a "bye"????? Oh well........ The pastelitos are not that great neither. I've been here various times, and the pastelitos are always hard and extremely flaky. If I eat a pastelitos from here I need to cover my clothing, because I'll have flakes everywhere. However, I like one of their breakfast options. The scrambled eggs, bacon, toast, hash brown, and cafe con leche. It's less than $5, and they make it pretty quickly. I only come here because it's the closest bakery to my job. If it wasnt, I wouldn't return.

a cake with a slice taken out of it

This bakery is an a nice shopping center in the Miami Lakes area, plenty of parking but they are not to friendly and I bought a package that comes with a rum cake and some pastries but the cake was cold and it look like it was in a refrigerator for a while. Is not expensive but you get what you pay for

Guava, cheese, and chicken pastries - pastelitos de guyaba, tequeños, croquetas de pollo, empanadas de pollo

Good Cuban coffee. Decent sandwiches. Not very good Cuban pastries. People behind the counters are very friendly.

Great bakery, everything is good including the prices. Can be a little hectic on the weekends but it's worth the wait.

La Nueva Fe Bakery I - One of Hialeah's finest!

Great cakes, all the classic Cuban pastries, and pastelitos and croquetas to die for (or from?)…read more What a way to go! I came here because more than a few people told me about their guava pastelitos. Let me just say, not all guava pastelitos are created equally! You get that after having one of their perfectly flaky and sweet guava pastries. They've been worked on by traditional bakers who know what they're doing. This also extended to the guava and cheese and cheese only pastelitos. So addicting. They'll ruin you for any other. This is a dive in a tiny strip mall with limited parking. There's no seating inside, so it's strictly grab-and-go. They're very efficient and nice.

Croquetas are my favorite here. Everything else it's just average and typical Cuban bakery stuff…read more The staff is quick to attend but getting good service is a flip of a coin. Sometimes great, others not very pleasant. This looks and feels like any Hialeah bakery that needs some TLC since it looks like it's stuck in 1998. Parking is terrible and sometimes dangerous because people driving on West 4th Ave confuse it with the Daytona 500 race track. But it's worth it for the croquetas. Here is a pro tip: croquetas are $1. But 25 party croquetas is around $8 as of this writing. But you get so much more for your money. If that's too much for you, just share them with friends or family...
