This bakery has declined in the last couple of years. I had a long wait and started detailing the place. The display area is dirty, with some pastries that have fallen and do not get cleaned up. The counter is cluttered and looks dirty and has chipping paint. The quality of the "pastelitos" is very low None of them were any good. They were dry and with little filling. The tuna and egg sandwiches are kept outside all day without proper refrigeration they could be a health hazard. I like the sandwiches and pastries here. I don't speak Spanish but ordering was as simple as pointing something out and saying "uno,dos,tres" etc. I didn't get any negative vibe. People in my office seemed to like the food that I brought in as well. read more

The only reason I ventured here today was because my beloved NQC is closed for the holiday weekend. If you're in the Miami Lakes area, NQC is definitely the place to get your coffee. Whatever you do stay away from Holiday Bakery if you're looking for decent coffee. I should have known I was in trouble when I, the gringo - speaking Spanish, ordered a cordadito from a new employee and how to make it had to be explained by a coworker. The new worker then used the coffee that had been sitting there since I walked in to make the drink. They also are not real friendly at this location. I walked out, tried the coffee, threw it away and headed to Casavana. I wish them luck with improving their coffee making ability. read more

My friend Jackie brought me here for breakfast once, and i loved it ! when i was back in miami this time , i wanted to come back and asked her what the name of the bakery was, so i made it back here again for some of that delicious 4.5$ breakfast, for that you get eggs, side of fries and meat and also includes cuban buttered toast and coffee. the service is slow, but i mean its miami EVERYONE here lives on a slower pace. read more

One of my favorite things about this bakery is when I come in in the morning or mid afternoon they have an array of fresh ready made sandwiches which they will gladly put on the press iron for you. There is pan de media noche con croquetta "midnight bread and croquette sandwich" pan France con queso, huevo y jamon "French bread with a fried egg, cheese and ham". 1/2 wraps and many other options. I have even ordered a steak sandwich nicely prepared with lettuce tomato and the famous stick fries. Take a number and wait to be served. There is a wait during rush hours but the line moves along. There is a few tables outside and a few stools inside. This is mostly a grab and go but if you wish to stay you can usually find someone place to set your behind. Things I like, the freshness of the food plus the sandwiches are small but so is the price. Nice indulgence without going over board. That is unless you have one of this and one of that. Hard to control; everything looks so good. I discovered this place during hurricane Wilma when everything else was closed and have been coming back ever since. Good bakery, but nothing spectacular. Fresh Cuban bread and breakfast. Their empanadas are good except the meat empanada which tasted like they used that meat paste they sell at Wal-Mart. Coffee is good and prices were a little higher than other bakeries in the area. read more

I've grown up two blocks away from this bakery and I remember looking forward to the weekends coming here with my family. Over the years this bakery has really plummeted in customer service and quality. I honestly don't have the time to go into detail about the customer service, they treat you like you work for them and not the other way around. WE the CUSTOMERS are the reason you're still open! They like rushing your order and frankly they're just rude, especially over the phone. And the quality of the food is great if you catch it on a good day. When it's made fresh it's amazing but they're unfortunately used to keeping whatever doesn't sell as long as they possibly can. Instead of making a reasonable quantity and restocking throughout the day or week, they prefer making a huge batch of everything and letting it sit there for days!! If you are looking for a good Latin Bakery, this is it. They offer a nice variety of pastries, sandwiches, drinks, and desserts. I can never go in here and just buy one thing. I always end up getting a box of assorted sandwiches and "pastelitos". The coffee is very good too. the only problem is depending on the day and time you go you will experience a long line before you are attended. They have a number calling system because it could get so crowded in there. Thankfully they have table and chairs outside where you can eat your food because with all the people and the lack of room inside you would not be able to enjoy your meal. Overall, I really, really, like this place and I love coming here on Sunday mornings even if the line is always out the door! read more

i have had 2 bad experiences. First time i ordered a cake for my daughter birthday ' i choose one design they have there , when i pick up the cake was very different, i make a claim, but is a latin business (customer never have the reason) after lot of arguments they fix little bit the cake. I comeback for New Year, and ordered a rum cake for my wife birthday. The cake result too salty (never have taste something alike). Same experience, i was wrong ,the salty taste is a rum property (according to them) . But the worse part is that they dont know how to treat customer. On July 25th, 2014 I went to pick up a paid order I placed two weeks ago for my daughter birthday party and I had to wait more than 30 minutes. I asked the cashier if they had a pick up line like other Bakeries and she said no, please get a ticket and wait like everyone else at the Bakery. Therefore I told her if I could speak to the owner Mr. Armando but he was not present. Therefore my experience at this Bakery was horrible and I won't recommend my family neither friends to order for any activity due the lack of customer service (Main Cashier Lady) very rude and no Pick up Service. Finally, I wish the owner reads this Trip Advisor comment and change his Pick up Services Policy at his Bakery. It will help his business tremendously! read more
