I've never ate here before so I just took a chance. Craving hibachi steak. Called them to place a pickup order. After giving my phone number she recognized I was a new customer and told me they have two locations and confirmed my pickup location which I thought was amazing! Quoted 10-15 mins and arrived at 12 mins after order. Paid and walked out. When I got home and unpackaged dinner there was two white sauces and 5 soy sauces, amazing looking soup, spoon and fork. Prefect! Didn't forget a thing! Soup tasted better than expected, and the hibachi steak was heavily portioned so I couldn't be happier that it tasted amazing as well!! I love this place , my family and I are regulars , although we get it delivered a lot which is awesome ! But when We do go dine in the staff are friendly and very helpful . The price is not bad at all it's pretty affordable and the FOOD is great , the sashimi and sushi is always fresh, the portions are pretty good especially the hibachi and dinner box , the only thing I don't like here is the pad Thai cause it's a weird noodle that they use . read more

I just recently ordered from this place for me and my family and I ordered hibachi chicken with fried rice. And when I got my food, it looks like I have white rice and my chicken was to me undercooked. When I called them and told them about the fried rice, they said that they just put a little bit of soy sauce on there and some fried rice seasoning and so I can come back in to get the same thing which didn't make any sense and then also I ordered a bubble tea that came with no Boba and apparently you have to pay for the Boba even though it says Boba tea which made absolutely no sense to me. I truly do recommend a restaurant to give what they advertise instead of having to come home to a meal that is half assed to me. I love this place before, but the last two times I went I feel like it got worse and worse. read more

It's my favorite comfort place to go to. The staff are very hospitable especially when I bring my kids along. They have give an authentic Japanese aura to the place as if I am home. Their food is top tier better than any other Japanese cuisine I've ever tasted. The ambiance here gives a relaxing atmosphere, the colors arent too bright and aren't too dark. Absolutely would recommend this place to any one. Our food and service tonight was terrible. The hibachi chicken came out cold and the white sauce tasted like they poured sugar in it. We tried to tell the server the food was cold, and she stayed silent. Also got charged $6 for about 1oz of sauce. Whenever she brought the bill, she stood with her hand on the check book rushing us to pay (we were the only ones left in the restaurant and it wasn't even 6:30pm yet). After she brought back the receipt and we signed it, she stood at the table and opened the book and took out the receipt while we were still sitting there to look at her tip. I served for 6+ years and could never imagine offering this type of service. Definitely the worst hibachi/sushi restaurant we have found since moving to this town. read more

I'm incredibly dissatisfied with this restaurant because of two things, the very poor service and the terrible food. The quality of service may vary, but our waitress hardly spoke English, did not speak any Japanese, did not seem very familiar with the menu, and all of this combined made it difficult for us to place our order. Then came the wait... If you come here expecting to spend some extra time I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem, but everything seems to take longer than usual and the staff don't make any effort to communicate and let you know what's going on. The food itself is a horrible imitation of Japanese food with absolutely no authentic flavor. See my photo of the "kara age", it more closely resembles bite sized chicken katsu but with Thai sweet chili sauce on the side for dipping. It's not too bad, but it wasn't good and is not in any way close to real kara age. The beef udon was ok, but the broth lacks flavor and the beef (what cut is it, anyway?) tastes like star anise, that distinct flavor that you may recognize from Chinese BBQ pork. Without calling itself"Japanese" I would have given them 2 or 3 stars, and if you go in with no expectations you won't be disappointed. If you like Japanese food, however, this place should not be on your list. read more

We have been here before a few times for the sushi, it's great for the price. We usually order sushi and boba. And have no complaints. The waitress during lunch, a tattooed women, is very friendly. The evening waitress, a young Asian women, always seems like she's in a bad mood. Today we wanted to try something new... We were helped by the evening waitress. We ordered our usual ginza & wanted to try the lumpia, as appetizers. The waitress brought us ginza & potstickers, and when we told her we hadn't ordered that, she just stood there like it wasn't her problem, and we just decided to keep it. We actually really liked it so there was no issue there. But I do believe there's a language barrier. The yakisoba hibachi noodles were disappointing. My husband ordered the seafood & I ordered the beef, from the Japanese Noodle section of the menu. From the first bite, the sauce was just "off". I couldn't figure out if it was too much soy sauce, but something didn't taste right. The beef was spongey and didn't have a meat texture. Needless to say, we left our food almost untouched. Thank goodness we had appetizers and sushi before our entrees (those were great) because we would've left hungry. I feel like splurging a bit this is definitely my favorite place to do it! The food is always outstanding and customer service used to be as well. Starving I ordered my dinner the tonight as I always do once a week and when it arrived my salad dressing was spilled all over the bag therefore all over everything. When I finally got it all cleaned off and to our disappointment both meals where with shrimp which wouldn't normally be an issue, however my husband does not eat shrimp EVER. Our order has always been the same and this was only the 2nd time there has been a mistake so I called and asked that they please get our correct order sent out and new dressing and I was told it was the website's fault and that I would have to pay to have my husbands meal and dressing replaced. I am disgusted at the lack of hospitality towards long time customers when we spend at minimum $60 an order. read more

This place was absolutely terrible. If i wanted frozen food i wouldve went to walmart. Our server was a doll she was fantastic. Ramen was hard. Rice had half a bag of peas in it not much rice. Couldnt even identify what was in my sushi. The manager was very unprofessional and brought customers into the situation when we asked her to remove some of the items due to poor quality. The service while eating in the dining room is probably the worst I've ever experienced during our almost 3 year long experience of trying everything in Jacksonville. We walked in and were seated promptly just to have our server take our drink order and then proceed to be consumed by her phone for a rediculous amount of time before I had to motion we were ready to order.
