I've been seeing Dr. Thomas for all of my dental needs ranging from regular checkups and minor dental work to Invisalign and more robust dentistry. He is a perfectionist, which I appreciate, because my smile has never looked better. I've also seen several dental hygienists, who have done a great job and are very thorough. I am always treated very well by the office staff as well, and am remembered by name, which is another rarity. I've referred several friends to this practice and have been pleased to hear that they have also loved their experience.

Not the Same Practice Anymore…read more We used to love coming to this office when it was run by Dr. Turnwald and his team. My kids actually enjoyed going to the dentist, and the entire staff was fantastic. About a year ago, I was having tooth pain and called to set up an appointment, and I was pleasantly surprised to get in the same day. However, when I showed up, I found out the entire old staff and Dr. Turnwald had left, and the practice had been sold to a new doctor--without any notice. Even the text and email confirmations still had the old dentist's name, so it was pretty frustrating to show up and find an entirely new staff and doctor. While the new staff was nice and the doctor was okay, the whole experience felt off-putting since I booked the appointment thinking it was still my family's trusted dentist. I also really missed my old hygienist, who always made visits easy for my kids. Honestly, had they been more upfront about the change when I called, it might not have left such a sour taste in my mouth. But now, I drive 30 minutes out of my way to see Dr. Black, where she has her own practice, and it's worth it for the care we receive. Most of the positive Yelp reviews here are for the old practice under Dr. Turnwald, and it says a lot that the entire staff left when he did. We've since followed Dr. Black to new office, and our family is much happier for it.

She explained what she was doing, made sure I was comfortable the entire time, and somehow managed to be both gentle and extremely detailed. One of the best cleanings I've ever had. Dr. Amante himself was outstanding. I had three very small fillings in my top and bottom molars, and the entire process was shockingly easy. No shots -- just a gel -- no pain at all, and he was in and out in about 10 minutes. His efficiency and confidence immediately put me at ease, and the work was flawless. What really sets Dr. Amante apart is his level of training and credentials. He is a MAGD (Master of the Academy of General Dentistry), which is a distinction earned by a very small percentage of dentists, and it shows in his precision, conservative approach, and overall care. You can tell he truly knows his craft. Between the professionalism, comfort, and exceptional skill of the entire team, this is easily one of the best dental experiences I've had. Dr. Amante is one of the best dentists in the area -- if not the state -- and I'm very glad to have found this practice. Highly recommend.

Upon completion, I had questions at office visit of Dr. Verbic and he dismissed my concerns and told me we would speak at next visit. Made that appointment and when I showed up 2 months later it was just an appointment for an X-ray. I asked why and was told that this is how they do it here. Apparently, due to lack of schedule availability it would take another nearly 2 months to get an answer. He has 3 offices so maybe he's spreading himself thin. Feeling rather uncomfortable about the whole situation, I saw 3 other orthodontists and come to find out that my son has major jaw alignment issues that were not addressed by his treatment. Basically, phase 1 was pointless and just a money grab as he will need full orthodontic treatment again. Beware of his diagnosis!

I am now maintaining the straightening with simple retainers and couldn't be happier with the experience. Dr. Schmidt and her group of professionals are a powerhouse team. In the beginning, I had a consultation with Dr. Schmidt and she told me upfront what the costs, benefits and duration of the treatment (within months) would be. Her office really helped make the payment plan work with my Flex Spending Account so that the finances were feasible without too much of an impact to the family budget. I signed the contract and began the process. If you like technology, you'll love the Invisalign process. The 3D scanning resulted in a digital model of my teeth that could be projected out over the next several months to show how the teeth would move with each Invisalign tray. I don't think that I would have had as good of an outcome without Dr. Schmidt and her team's experience. She took detailed notes on how she wanted things to look and could adjust things to make it happen. I trusted her aesthetic vision and it was a pleasure to see it incrementally come to life. Here we are at the end of the "active" phase of Invisalign.
