Walking in to Julio's it doesn't look like much, small, quaint, filled with regulars playing darts or watching people walk through the Alt Stadt. We sat down to have a drink and were greeted by the incredibly sweet owner who was playing darts with some friends. The atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly, almost like being at home with old friends drinking a few pints. I ordered a Guiness and the boo had an Alt and they were as delicious as expected. My Guiness was poured to perfection and the owner jokingly made sure I waited until it peaked perfection before sipping (sooo freakin darling). Julio's is a great spot if you're looking for something fun and local. If you want upscale this is not the place for you. Great service and great drinks, totally worth checking out!

That's easy, even if you are an "old pub" it is a must to clean the glasses more careful, not just draw them thru water (not using any kind of brush or something) and then use them again for other customers, thats disgusting. After seeing that we left the location immediately, and weren't to keen to take another beer. Sorry

There is a very nice feel to the place and they let me keep the menu when they saw me taking a photo of it (I'm a pub geek).

For the first time ever I have walked into a bar in Germany and they had run out of beer. I mean come on, how is that even possible in Beer nation ? Mixed drinks like JD & Coke were minimum €7.50 and above and the bar was also pretty empty when we got there with Rock music from the 90's playing loud. The waitress was lovely and friendly but the guy at the bar seemed a bit grumpy and not interested in serving us. I may come back here again another time and see. It's saving grace is the opening times. 2 am during the week and upto 5am on weekends.
