Until we got an unexpected letter in the mail, firing us as customers because we'd had to cancel an appointment. The letter said we'd given no notice, when we absolutely did. We'd called Tony to cancel, and he apparently didn't pass the message on to the cleaning crew, because they called at the appointment time asking to be let in. We rescheduled, had the cleaning done, everything seemed fine, and then 3 weeks later we got this break-up letter. When my husband called to clear up any misunderstanding, Tony cravenly declined to return the message. So we have to move on with no good explanation. Save yourself the time and effort of researching and interviewing cleaning companies, and go with someone else in town. Update: we've been happy now for several months with The Maids of Toledo

Our closing was scheduled for 11 am and I specifically asked to be the first clean for their day so they would be done by 11. The ladies didn't get there until 11:30 to start and then they tried to tell me that 2 ladies were only able to clean the kitchen in the 2 hours I paid for. There was nothing left in the house! All they had to do was wipe out the drawers and empty cabinets and wipe down frig. Seriously! Maybe the cleaning ladies do good work, but they move at a snails pace and wanted 2 more hours to finish the rest of the house. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. I have had cleaning services many times and this was the first and last time I will use The Cleaning Genie. Do yourself a favor and safe yourself some money and look elsewhere for cleaning services.
