What went well ?! EVERYTHING!! Dr. Parchment and your Team...Thank you Thank you THANK YOU!!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! Ooohhh...and this is written by someone who NEVER leaves written reviews!

Once I was checked in, they let my husband come sit with me while I waited to go into surgery. I really appreciated this, since the last time I had a procedure at a different surgical center they didn't allow anyone that wasn't a patient beyond the waiting room. My surgery ended up being about an hour behind schedule (which of course feels like an eternity when you're fasting!) but the nurses kept giving me updates which I appreciated! Everyone I interacted with couldn't have been nicer, from my surgeon to the anesthesiologist to the nurses. They made a nerve wracking day less stressful and put me at ease. After my surgery, they let my husband come back to the recovery area and also had him pull the car up to the side entrance so I didn't have to walk too far. We felt like the surgeon and nurses did a great job explaining how everything went (and I received a check in call the next morning). Definitely a well-ran surgical center!

My experience has been amazing and Dr. Eric Carniol is outstanding in his skill. I'm definitely looking forward on having many other cosmetic procedures in the future, and Dr. Carniol is the 1 choice. Dr. Eric Carniol's staff are professional, friendly and a pleasure to deal with from beginning of planning, until the day of surgery including aftercare and office visits. I highly recommend Dr. Eric Carniol he's the best surgeon.

I called my insurance Cigna and found a plastic surgeon in north Jersey they recommended - Paul and Eric Carniol. Cigna ended up footing 95% of the bill since I was in-network. From my first day to my last, Drs. Paul and Eric Carniol have been nothing short of consummate professionals. I first met with Dr. Paul a couple times who referred me to his son Dr. Eric who I think is more specialized in ENT plastic surgery. My issue was a random cyst had popped up in a sensitive area - above my left eye. The Drs. ordered me for an MRI and CT and then decided they could operate. I was under general anesthesia and didn't know a thing that happened. Their office is conveniently located attached to Overlook Hospital in Summit so surgeries can be scheduled there. I would 10/10 recommend Carniol Plastic Surgery. No one asked me to do this review. I literally had surgery yesterday, woke up today removed the bandage and it looked amazing!! So I just wanted to do my part in leaving a positive review so others , too, can find the best plastic surgeons NJ has to offer for all their plastic surgery needs! I hope I never have to have plastic surgery again, but if I do, I'm going with Carniol. Special thanks to Melissa and all the other ladies that work there! They are extremely helpful, diligent, and top-notch negotiators with insurance!!!

It was deep enough to require a specialist, but nobody was willing to take the case due to our son's young age. We went to Overlook Emergency Department and although the staff there was great this review is for Dr. Zeitels because it was he who came at a moment's notice and delivered the most effective plan of care to heal our son. As soon as he looked at the X-RAY he came to our room and said he wanted to take the case immediately. His secretary called my wife the next day and everything was scheduled. The day of surgery Dr. Zeitels and the anesthesiologist went over everything again with great detail, my wife was allowed to stay with our son up until the procedure began and our son was put under anesthesia. This meant everything to us, especially my wife, who couldn't imagine letting our son think he was alone with people he's not familiar with. Once the procedure was over. Dr. Zeitel spoke to us about the surgery and after care. His bedside manner and patience were impeccable. Fast forward to today, the stitches in our son's hand have been removed and he is doing excellent. What we appreciate the most is Dr. Zeitels' professionalism, efficiency, and meticulous work. We never want to see him again for another procedure, it's just not our thing, but if you ever are in need of a good Plastic Surgeon, I am sure you will not be disappointed.

I genuinely thought I would finely get the help I need. Boy was I sure wrong. From the moment I entered it felt like an internment camp. Toilets and sinks made of steel. A shower which blasts you like the fire hose you would experience in the Newark Riots. In fact, I think I would have been safer downtown Newark come to think of it. I was treated like a prisoner. I was mocked by the entire staff because they did not obviously know how to treat DPDR which is what I had and not just depression/anxiety. I have never seen such an uncoordinated place in my life. What genius decided that all mental patients regardless of their diagnosis including homicidal deranged people clearly on drugs should all be put together??!! I had to spend my 8 horrible days/nights there in solitary confinement from the outside world suffering continuous ridicule from both patients and staff. I am legally disabled and was mocked for how I walk, I was recorded and laughed at behind one way mirrors while attempting to sleep with an individual who called himself the "Pisser" whom peed around my bed in the middle of the night and not one worker came to remove him or clean up his mess. They also held a viewing party because I could hear them behind our room laughing and talking about me and this other creature next to me who snored on top of peeing so loud, I think a jet engine would be softer. Many people I see here talked about their disgusting rabbit food they would feed me since I'm on a renal diet. The workers were amongst the rudest, soulless, immoral individuals I have ever had the misfortune to meet. There was no structure at all. You are expected to read the wall or pamphlet for times and expect to visit the various groups. My DPDR caused me balance issues and memory issues so they took advantage of my mannerisms and gestures to mock me by staging fake repair men to pretend to repeatedly fix the air on a ladder when you could clearly see they were solely watching me as no work was actually happening. When I asked questions, they would deliberately send me to the other end so I would have to walk and often no one was there. When I was sent to dialysis about 3 times, they would tip off the techs and nurses and dietitian and they went out of their way to stage a patient next to me pretending to call home and he would keep repeating words or topics I discussed in their so-called therapy. They had a dietitian sit in the bay next to me and she pretended to review what to eat on renal diet but there was no one there she kept saying things like, "So you can't eat yams, they have potassium, so um you know like bananas are bad too, so um ya like don't eat potatoes either." Know these words alone is not how a professional would talk so I know they were meant to mock me because at DPDR onset your thoughts are not as fluent. They sat me in a special wooden chair so I would suffer there too. The nurse deliberately went as slow as possible to the point of supreme exaggeration to insight mockery of me. When my mother and brother came, they would lie and often say I was not available or that everything was fine. I do hope there is a special place in hell for these liars. If I had one wish is that they get audited and raided by the FBI and fed government to seize their computers and all surveillance. Then the truth about what really went on with me and probably countless other poor souls trying to get help but instead got tortured. I spoke to AJ Mertz about this and the patient advocates. My family and I have been in this hospital over the years for multiple surgeries, ICU, even my father passed here. Management needs to clean house. There are always a few rotten curds in every brick of cheese. Communications is very lacking as I saw during a major surgery stay and here too in Baby Alcatraz Ward. Manipulation is not therapy!
