I recently moved to the area, and I'm so grateful that I discovered her practice! Dr. Holder recommended Fraxel to treat some of the issues I had been experiencing. I have a fairly low pain tolerance, and she ensured I would be comfortable during the procedure (I've already been back for the second of three treatments...so she kept her promise!) I'm not only thrilled with the results of my treatments but also thrilled to be a part of her practice. Here's what I've experienced at this practice and why I recommend it so wholeheartedly: - I first came to Dr. Holder's practice in 2023, wanting to try botox for the first time. It was a new experience, and Dr. Holder listened carefully to understand my expectations and then patiently talked me through everything that I should expect. The way she directs her team before, during, and after procedures instills so much confidence, especially for first time patients. - At the beginning of this year, hormones were wreaking havoc on my skin and giving me with terrible acne and rosacea. Fed up, I sent Dr. Holder's office an email, and they agreed to see me right away. They were so responsive and reassuring. Also, I really appreciate that Dr. Holder doesn't try to sell a custom line of products -- she just thoughtfully directs you to a routine using good old fashioned French pharmacy products and prescriptions when needed. - I've seen Dr. Holder for peels and laser treatments, and I'm just so grateful for how thorough and detail-oriented she is in each of these procedures. She takes prep and after care very seriously. She looks closely at the treatment areas, takes her time, and talks through the treatment so that there are no surprises or unexpected discomfort. Truly amazing bedside manner that instills so much confidence. - Dr. Holder's team is just as amazing as she is. All of the staff are communicative, warm, and hospitable. They're also incredibly smart, detail-oriented, and thoughtful during procedures -- hardly a surprise, but such a rare experience in this city. Update, A recent 2nd visit in early 2023. A small benign cyst was growing in the middle of my back…read more Dr. Day cut it right out in his office. The healing process was much faster than the scarring revision surgery. The after effects is a small dent, barely noticeable. My back the left side where the Lipoma Surgery was done over my left shoulder is completely healed with slight noticeable scarring, but I look so much better now. Also every 3 months I received shots of medicine with cortisone in the àrea to keep the scar flat with no lumps.I can now wear with confidence the backless tops and blouses I stopped wearing before the surgery. Staring folks with 2nd glance looks will have nothing to look at anymore. I'm only accepting compliments. Thanks again Doc. Also the New Office Clerical Staff is a Delight. Offering helpful reminder appointment calls. Patients go into your Doctor's Office with a positive attitude, nice conversation & a smile on your face. I came in with a painful acne flare-up and was hoping to be seen, but the staff told me they couldn't see me because of the doctor's strict late-arrival policy. Instead, they told me I would have to reschedule my appointment. I understand that offices have policies, but there should be some flexibility and compassion, especially when a patient is in pain and only a few minutes late due to parking. No effort was made to accommodate me or even check if the doctor could still see me. I left without receiving any treatment despite being in discomfort. Overall, this was a very frustrating experience, and I expected much better patient care and customer service.
