I stood there for 15 minutes...and nothing. I get it, it's the holiday season and several people were at the counter, but the part that is irritating were the two customers who arrived after me that were helped first. I know the employees knew I was there as I made eye contact with them while standing at the counter. Anyways, I got tired of waiting and left. I'll buy a gun elsewhere. They can get your entire team set up with all the gear they need. My husband was in there all the time in the 80's and 90's for everything from baseball, basketball and cross country running. Back then, it was a place where they knew your name when you walked in the door. Best part is that you can hold the product. Feel if your mitt fits just right or if you need a different pair of cleats. You can't do that online. For the sport enthusiast, it's so much better to pick your needs out in person. The Manager of the store is Marcial. I went in the store thinking they would say, "too bad." I was pleasantly surprised when Marcial said he would exchange the gun for a new one!! Imagine my surprise. I took the gun back about 5 months after I purchased it. My grandson got a new gun and we were so excited!! The experience was wonderful. Last week I went to the store to find a pair of snow boots for my granddaughter that was on clearance. The gentleman helping me could not find the boots. Marcial went with the young man and another young lady and looked for the boots. Marcial came back with a different brand but basically the same boot I wanted for $2.00 cheaper. I told Marcial his customer service if fantastic. I will ALWAYS go to Clinton Big 5 for my sporting needs.
