Christians? Christians treat peoples with respect. Not HL. Christian, my foot!

I'm a crafter and have spent quite a bit of money at Hobby Lobby, beautiful inventory, clean store; however, customer service, especially by the manager and assistant manager, leave a lot to be desired. Rude and even confrontational! what happened to the customer is always right? First incident was last year when purchasing 4 very expensive picture frames. couldn't get ANYONE to help me get them down from top shelf. Made of resin to assimilate stone, they were very heavy, so when I overreached for one, down I went landing on my back. Not one person moved to help this 68 year old on the floor unable to get up. I was able to get a witness statement from another customer who saw every thing and even helped me up. Staff shrugged their shoulders, got manager, rude. I very quickly was sent a letter with a release of all claims with a pittance offer, that I did not take. Today? I returned an item from their floral department which upon examination at home had a piece missing. I was told I didn't buy it there. ‍. From what I understand, HL is a Christian business and closes on Sundays, apparently to let their employees attend church services. That's very commendable. THE TREATMENT DISPLAYED TO PAYING CUSTOMERS IS NOT "CHRISTIAN-LIKE". In fact, it's disgusting. That's the end of my hard-earned dollar being spent their. Attitudes are anything but Christian.

Interesting small plaza off Route 202 in Rochester. Good for…read morethe essentials, but not much else as there's not too many stores to go to, and barely any food spots. Truthfully, I don't blame Famous Footwear for moving to the Ridge. The Ridge just seems to have a better flow and be less choppy in general. This place is basically a bunch of little plazas, combined all into one large center. Definitely not the best design that could have been possible for this center. Lowe's is great, and that's about it. Buffalo Wild Wings I'm sure is fine, and Jo-Ann's looks fine too (but Hobby Lobby did just open.....), but everything is scattered and a bunch of the stores like Kohl's and Petsmart are smaller than any of the retailers other stores. It seems like a trend. It's not that bad, it's just that, when a new shopping center is built, there are certain expectations that come along with it being new. Rochester Crossing doesn't seem to have completed the job fully, and made it an actually useful center for the people in Rochester. If I lived up here, I would be spending a whole lot more time at the Ridge Marketplace, and probably even the Lilac Mall. Too bad, maybe this place will improve over the years. 3 stars for Rochester Crossing.

There's a huge carpet in the middle of the room (at least with the current setup) but I can see how artificial walls could easily be brought in to make even more wall space. Having said that, it would also be a great space for sculptures. The woman working at the desk seemed very friendly, though I did not take the opportunity to chat with her much. I do feel like it's a bit of shame it's in the middle of a strip mall next to Shaw's, but we can't all land primo real estate I guess. Having said that, it's a perfect opportunity to drop by once every couple weeks before/after your grocery shopping. I believe I will do this in the future!

They are welcoming, not intimidating, and the Falmouth gallery has plenty of parking. The line up is always different at the Portland gallery than the Falmouth gallery. Both offer insights into Maine's artist community at the highest levels. Elizabeth is the right person to advise you on choosing art that works for you in your space-- office or home. Their framing services are top notch, but it's the art I go for. I make a point of visiting the galleries regularly. The shows change about once a month and even when I don't want to take any piece home, I do find the work intriguing.
