I've been to the store dozens of times, and always had a great experience! Hobby lobby has some of the best customer service I've seen. Today I was helped quickly with a couple questions about items in stock. I found what I was looking for, despite looking for a couple specialized things! My friend & I came into the Millard, Nebraska store; to see if we could find a frame for my artwork that I was going to donate to a fundraiser for veterans in our area. We found a frame, but it wasn't quite the right size, so I took it up to the custom framing area to get some advice & Kayla helped us pick out a frame that was perfect! But it needed a custom mat to make the print fit right. I told her I needed it right away so I could drop it off today. I felt bad about it, but she was so sweet & she offered to cut one & assemble the mat & my print into the frame. She told us it would only take 15 minutes. I think she had it done sooner than that, even in between helping other customers. She is amazing & went above & beyond to take care of us & to make sure we had the perfect looking picture to put in the auction. The value was great & she did a very professional & beautiful job, which accentuated my artwork perfectly! If there were more people like Kayla, the world would be a better place! Great service with a big smile! I just wanted to make sure that the store managers know what a great job she is doing! I hope they read this. I didn't really know where to put in a good review for her at the Hobby Lobby website. The store was very organized & looked great. I came here with my mom, as it's closer to her house, and I found some KILLER deals!! It now seems hit or miss on whats on sale, but if you find something on clearance that isn't broken, you can really score a good deal! I often come to HL to get props and things for events I host, and theres always the staples like balloons, but then there are some unique and trendy items too! I found an awesome balloon arch holder but used it for a photo backdrop! Way easier to put together and obviously got it quicker than amazon. This location is roughly the same size as the others, and is just as clean and sterile feeling. Of course, they're not open on Sundays the only day I realize I need to go, but at least they're consistent. read more

Savannah in framing is absolutely fantastic. We just lost our dog recently and wanted his jersey framed. She went out of her way to make a fantastic piece of art that will forever remain in our hearts! She made it personalized and was willing to do her best to accommodate our request. Visited Hobby Lobby today with the intent of finding gift basket fillers and other miscellaneous items that go with building one, such as a frilly ribbon and plastic wrap to package the items up. I noticed poor Yelp reviews at this location mainly due to customer service. The only issue was an item was advertised at 50% off. The cashier didn't think it was part of the sales and asked a manager who verified this discount. It wasn't a big deal and no one was upset over the few minutes of checking the skews and finding a floor manager. Overall, the store was clean and the aisles were clear, bright lights helping to provide a welcoming environment. read more

So much fun browsing to be done here. They have such a large variety of household items for decorating and crafting. Really a do it yourself type of place with so much to choose from. You can spend quite a few hours wondering around just browsing. They have some unique items that are lots of fun. read more

Called in a moment ago to inquire about their clearance sale. With driving from Lincoln I wanted to make sure the sale was still going on. A woman named Tracy answered the phone and was simply not polite. She sounded annoyed with my questions and I gave up on even asking any more. It is a shame that a company loses business because of employees who just don't care. read more

I went in look for a T-shirt for a Halloween Costume for work and saw that shirts were 30%. Which is great! They have signed above each different type of tshirt stating the discounted price. However, the prices are not correct. I go to the counter, expecting to pay $4.86 for the shirt to find out that it's a $10 shirt. Told them that their signs say differently and apparently that doesn't matter. I even confirmed the type of shirt with the sign and it matched up so why didn't the price? Not mad that the shirt was $10, but I am mad that it was not marked correctly on the sign and when mentioned they did nothing about it. Make the trip to the other Hobby Lobby instead of this one. They would have done something since it was priced incorrectly. read more

I was in the area so I decided to go to this location instead of the one closer to me in Papillion. It would've been considerably faster to just make the 25 minute drive to the other location. I waited in line for 15 minutes as four employees lingered around the registers with only one open. I tried to ask if someone's lane was opened and she put up the closed sign and told me no... super awkward and weird. When it was finally my turn to check out a lady came up to an employee and wanted a refund and they sent her to the register in front of me, who had already been waiting? Save your time and peace of mind and just drive to the other location. What should've been a ten minute trip took over thirty minutes. read more

There is plenty of stuff to purchase but the staff here are rude. They were super rude to my daughter who asked a question that they could have been nicer about. I think I rather shop at Joanne's or anywhere else so discouraging when I thought everyone in Omaha was nice. First of all, I went shopping in there for paint and paint brushes. I felt like it was a gloomy atmosphere of co-workers.

Ok, I admit it, I'm a guy, but I like walking around Hobby Lobby sometimes! They have stuff for my man cave. I had some pictures framed and matted for a present for my wife last year and they were beautiful. I worked with Rob on them and he was very creative and gifted in picking the right frames and matting, and very nice as well. read more

The store is clean and well stocked, but oh my word, the staff there is so grouchy! Every associate I came into contact with. I asked an associate who was stocking the paint section where to find a (paint!) item and was told to go to framing or fabric to ask for help. The manager rang up my sale and didn't speak a word until I was handed my receipt. read more
