Hobby Lobby is definitely one of my favorite stores! This location is always very clean and organized. They have a great selection of home decor items, fabric and ribbon, and of course all the craft/DIY supplies you can imagine. They have a massive Hello Kitty collection sprinkled throughout the store as well. The Customer service isn't spectacular but it's not bad either. This is an okay Hobby Lobby. It does not feel organized at all because all the categories are together in the store but items are just spread throughout the store. You can not find anyone in the isles for help either: I was recently in the store for two hours and couldn't find any assistance. I went to a competitor, which told me they couldn't do anything to frame my print--and then charged me for it. As a last-ditch effort, I went to Hobby Lobby. Their service and work was top-notch. I didn't want to spend much because the print itself wasn't worth much. In fact, the print was even cut at non-right angles so I didn't think it was even possible for it to look right. The framer, Abbygaile, talked us through a number of out-of-the box custom options that I never would have considered myself. The final result not only ended up being inexpensive, but it made the print look like a work of art. Abbygaile was also super patient while we considered a bunch of matte colors, offering advice when needed. She even took the big frame up to the register and to my car when we were ready to check out. I'll be going back to Hobby Lobby for all of my framing in the future. read more

This store is like a dream, if you're a crafter or hobbyist you have to check out Hobby Lobby. They have anything and everything from scrapbook paper to felt. They even have a fabric and framing specialist readily available in store. The store is huge and has aisle's and aisle's of goodies. If you like to make jewelry or sew they have everything you need. The customer service is usually pretty good here and they even have coupons you can use usually every week. If the manager or assistant manager sees the line getting long they will call for backup to get the customers out fast, you can't go wrong at hobby lobby! *Tip If you have a smart phone you can download and app called "Retail me not" and they always have a 40% off coupon for Hobby Lobby that you can show to the cashier upon checking out. read more

READ THIS BEFORE ORDERING ONLINE!! I ordered 4 resin corbels online because there was only one available in the Macon store. Delivered to my home, I opened the box and found 3 badly damaged. No protective wrapping - just a wade of brown paper. I attempted to return them to the Macon store. They said their policy is if they are damaged, they have to be returned through .com!! AND, the buyer pays the return postage. I got NO apology from the Macon, GA Manager on Duty. Products great, Customer Service leaves ALOT to be desired!! It seems I am being punished because of poor job performance in OKC, and a stupid return policy! You need a new policy, Hobby Lobby!! read more

What can I say? Everytime I walk in this store I walk out with SOMETHING. This is a fantastic place to go for home decor, craft supplies, birthday party decorations, etc. There is always a 40% off coupon if you sign up for their emails. Unless you need something immediately you should always wait for it to go on sale 40%-50% (they cycle through their collections so just wait and it'll go on sale). I definitely will continue to come here vs. Joann's Fabrics or Michael's since I find that I can get all the stuff I need here and always find some cute something-or-other must-have as well! If you're a hardcore quilter or sewer you may find more fabric options at a different store but for me this place fits the bill. The furniture pieces they sell here are a little pricey but their knick knacks and craft supplies are well priced (especially when on sale!) Note that it is closed on Sundays as it is a Christian based business. read more

I have always like hobby lobby So I go at least 2x a week to Macon Ga store. So I decided to bring a friend and my mother They are both into crafting ALOT so I bring them here. Today. and was checking it out and see about shopping here instead of Michaels but today was horrible. I bought fabric that was supposed to be 50% off and they only took 30% and that was after I argued with them it was on sale because they charging me full price. So I showed them the ad once again that stated 50% and the sign that stated 50% percent off . So they called a lady from the fabric department to verify, which she did she then took the paper that the fabric price was on but only got one corrected at the 50% because the manager was rushing her because the line was getting backed up from all the returns that people were bringing in and then the people were getting aggravated and The manager that was on duty today was not very helpful and was in fact making matters worse. The reason I say this is because there was other registers open and he kept sending everyone that had a return to the one I was in and the cashier was trying to handle me and them at the same time. By this time my friend walked out and went to the truck and left her stuff behind. They also charged me full price on items that were discounted and had to inform them that it was discounted and I showed them the tag that was right on the item. I was then once again getting dirty looks from the cashier and then cashier is telling the other customers sorry for the delay and then giving me a dirty look like we were the problem by this time my mother was getting mad and embarrassed So needless to say I finally just gave up and paid for the order even thought I was over charged 38.47 more then I should have And as for the other lady that was with me she said that she will not come back due to the way I was treated.
