Pillows, candles, blankets, a beautiful selection of greenery, prints of various sizes, and many other cute home decor items. A limited amount of furniture is in the store, such as side chairs, benches, and decorative side tables. Mirrors and a large selection of lamps are available. I've attached several pictures to this review. The staff was friendly, with great personalities and all were very pleasant. At check-out, she reminded me when the sales start and end, plus online shipping is available. A large selection of items are available online that you'll never see in the store. Very relaxing and fun shopping experience today with friendly employees. I'm almost in the Christmas spirit; I'm just loving my fall decor right now.

So, no Live-Laugh-Love or Bless This Mess signs for me. However, if you're a word-sign person, you will definitely find things like that here. You will also find things like toys, rugs, stationery, fancy snacks, ottomans, laundry detergent, wallets, makeup, holiday decor and lots more. This place is like if Home Goods, Ollie's and Dollar Tree had a three-way tryst that produced a child. That child would be named Gaskin. This is the kind of store where you don't visit to find a specific thing, because they might have it, and they might not. No, you need to go in with a pure heart and an open mind. They are working on a sign that will be easily visible from Guion, which should help a lot! In the meantime...if you are driving South on Guion...look to the right just south of 62nd street. It is tucked back from the street a bit, and I always assumed all that was back there were industrial-park-related buildings...but if you do look for it, you can indeed see the store from Guion! The staff were extremely nice and helpful. They had great suggestions for some starter tools for beginners and clearly know every product they sell very well. I truly appreciated that they provided a lot of great information and advice without pushing for a sale. I left with a great collection of fun items for a Christmas gift for a friend who is in the same beginners' ceramics class with me, and I'll be back after the holidays to probably buy the same collection for myself! Apparently, the origin story of The Gilded Nest is that it started as a Christian bookstore. That seems like some 4D chess right there, and good business sense. I can imagine more people would want to visit a home goods store than they would a Christian bookstore, but I could be wrong. That said, there's still a Christian bookstore in the back of the store, with all sorts of nonfiction and fiction texts. (Even Christian romance books! Sizzling.) The rest of the store is home decor, candles, signs, dish towels, art supplies, greeting cards, artificial flowers, vintage pieces, and handmade jewelry and art from local artists. It's a mishmash of all kinds of things, and everything is arranged just so, and the whole store is pleasing to walk through. It also smells nice because of all the candles. The Gilded Nest also offers art classes and creative workshops, like flower arranging. They have a little art studio in a corner. This is a store that my mom would have loved. She liked to decorate her house with hand-painted signs with Bible verses on them, chalk-painted shabby chic furniture and cute little trinkets. As soon as I walked into the store, I was like, "Oh man! I wish my mom could be here! She would appreciate this." Most of the store is not my style at all, but I liked walking around and looking at all of the things and thinking about what my mom might have bought.
