Just left out of hobby lobby on Felch Street in Holland, Mi. standing in line and cashier Megan or Kelly was called to help out. White women before me, that girl went to the white couple and took them to her register to check out and shut her register down. I'm left standing waiting to be checked out. I'm staying at the Hampton inn. I'm an asst VP at Consumer's Energy and forgot some crochet hooks at home. I will make sure to never go back to that place and will certainly let coworkers know, we have a crochet circle with friends. So, BACK to Michael's I will go and stay. read more

This was actually my first time in a Hobby Lobby. We were in the area for a weekend trip and my fiance forgot his Apple watch charger. He found one on the Hobby Lobby website, I called this store and asked if they had it in-stock, and Ruth was able to put one aside for me. About ten minutes later I drove up to the store - our hotel was like down the street - and saw Ruth as I walked in (she had a name tag on). She knew immediately who I was, when I said we spoke on the phone, and retrieved the charger for me. The charger was only $5 too, which was a bargain, although it had a USB-C end instead of a USB-A; luckily my iPad charger has a USB-C end port. Overall very impressed with the customer service at this location and would visit again. read more

I love Hobby Lobby for my craft supplies, however, in my most recent visit, I noticed a lot of damaged products on shelves. Many of the home decor signs were damaged, scuffed, or "touched up" by staff. I was very displeased. I had a sign I was going to exchange, but all of the others like it and of similar nature were substandard. When I chose to return my item, I waited patiently in a very long line only to be told once I finally arrived at the register that I needed to go to a different register because I had a return. Needless to say, I waited in a second very long line, this time, occupying my time trying to find a sign anywhere that stated "returns only at register 1" but could not find one. Come on Holland, get it together. read more

As a new home owner in Holland, I have been making a stop here at least once a week! Everything decoration you could need for your home you can find here - mirrors, nicknacks, cute signs, wall art, candles, etc. etc. There are crafts, fabric, and lots of holiday decor as well. Staff is helpful and friendly and it seems like they're always having a sale. This store is a must if you're looking to decorate your home! read more

Customer Service is TERRIBLE at this location!!! My husband and I went here this afternoon with 5 antique frames for which we wanted mats and glass. The only frame person working was seriously the most rude person I've encountered in years... I don't actually recall when someone has just been such an outright shrew from the moment she walked up to us to the moment we walked away from her. With the first frame I said I wasn't sure if I wanted non-glare of regular glass. She said in a rude tone, "I won't sell you non-glare." Shocked, I said, "You won't sell me non-glare?!" And she said no, because SHE thinks it looks cloudy. I don't care what she thinks, if I tell her she's going to sell me non-glare, she's going to sell me non-glare. She was no help whatsoever, acted annoyed and put out that we were there, didn't even make eye contact, and kept a sour look on her face. I tried to lighten the mood, being pleasant and trying to smile and make small talk. She pretty much ignored me. She had no eye for color and picked out two horrible mats, neither of which would work with the photo or frame. With the first frame, she made a huge issue out of it being fragile. It was an older wooden frame, not a really expensive one, but if I can work with it, I'm thinking a "certified" framer certainly can. When I chose a mat and glass type, she snarled, "YOU'RE putting this together!" For the next mat, the snarling dragon was having a tantrum about how she was going to cut it to fit the photo and the frame. She said about 5 words about it to me, then looked at my husband, started over and explained it all, looking directly at him as if I weren't there, and said, "Do YOU understand?!" I said, "I understand" - and she ignored me, didn't look at me, took the mat and walked away. My husband got so angry at her attitude, he had to walk away. When he came back, I asked him to wait there while I went to find the store manager. When I did, I told him what happened, and he thanked me for not leaving, saying he would have. He paged her on the phone twice to talk to her. She wouldn't pick up. So he walked back there and stayed around the counter until we were finished. At one point we heard a piece of glass shatter in back, where the framer was working - had to laugh. Karma, you know. :) read more

Horrible customer service!!!! Rude employees!!! Waited in line for check out was going to an open lane a heavy set clerk made eye contact with me so I continued to head to her lane she steps out of her area and calls over a couple in the next lane completely cutting me off in the aisle. They were NOT waiting in line longer than me. The sad thing about this is the more and more that I have rude customer service the more I refuse to shop at those stores in all forms. I have tried to continue to shop at the actual stores instead of shopping at other places or online to give other people a chance at having a job. Especially since in this area stores are closing. Facts are, without customers, customer service jobs will be non existent. read more

I TRULY love Hobby Lobby. They have almost ANYTHING that u r looking for and the prices aren't bad either. A lot of the workers r quite knowledgeable (but not all). The staff is eager to help. And if u go online u can sign up for emails to get coupons, plus every week u can go to their website and print off a coupon for 40% one regular priced item. read more

I came to Hobby Lobby to have two prints framed. I was helped by Christy in the custom frame department. Although there was a bit of an issue with the size of the mat that was ordered, Christy was incredibly patient, kind, professional and knowledgable in her dealings with me.
