Below is my original experience... but I want to compliment the lady at the framing section for her information and knowledge to my co-shopper. She was polite, responsive to multiple request to examine samples on the wall, and patient to provide multiple quotes for our size & frame options. Thank you, sweet lady.
HUGE COMPLAINT: I was seeking decorative sand. Two clerks were conversing near the front; so, I asked one for direction. She escorted me to a location near the wedding area for ceremonial sand. I asked if there was another inexpensive option, and she pointed to the opposite side of the store and gave a "you'll see a large wooden craft area then turn right"-ish direction. Feeling appreciative and confident, I paced to the other side of the store but did not see the wooden area that was to be my landmark. I scanned the crafting isles looking for a bit, then wandered around the crafts section looking for a clerk, then (upon finding one) was told "by the clay" with another pointed finger in a general direction. Now, this clerk was seated on the floor taking inventory or something, and I could tell she was busy in thought. I returned to my wandering, now searching for clay (which by-the-way did not look AT ALL what I thought it would), but had to return to the seated clerk after 5-6 min of no success. She literally huffed as she got up. I apologized for my ignorance on crafting items and inability to navigate the store. I said "I found the Crayola clay???" She gave a discourteous response "well, its not too much further if you would have looked" two or so isles down. I put the six items I had in my hand down and walked out. read more
