Awesome sales, great products, well stocked and good supply and quality of items. My problem stems from the poor attitude from the cashier Tailynn. She never greeted me, started snatching things from the counter, spoke very choppy and just inept for this position. She should be stocking shelves where there is no direct customer service. This is perhaps the main reason why I choose not to visit certain stores and/or their locations. This is a first time bad experience at any Hobby Lobby and I'm a regular customer. I'm not from this area, thank God because I would avoid this location like the plague. While I love Hobby Lobby overall, it's employees like this, with horrible dispositions that make the shopping experience less enjoyable. Tailynn needs to take her TAIL over to Burger King because most people don't expect good customer service there. Just a huge disappointment for what started out as a good shopping day. read more

Me and my fiancé had by far the worst, most lackluster, and careless experience we've ever experienced in any store before. We entered the store specifically to buy 2 rose flowers. It would have taken about 30 seconds to check us out. Instead, after a while of patiently waiting in line, we got called to go a different "open" register that was a complete LIE. We ended up having to wait all over again behind someone with a much bigger cart than us. Once again, we got called to an "open" register. I don't know who was calling the shots, but anyone with a pair of eyes watching the registers should've been able to see the difference between an open register and someone with a full cart in front. It's difficult to see that from the back of every line that we got moved to. We watched other customers go back and forth as well, confused and frustrated, while we continuously lost our spots in line during our short lunch break. We ended up having to put the flowers back and leave the store with nothing from how disgustingly mismanaged and pathetic their worthless attempts at handling low-traffic checkouts were. I would never go back to this location if possible. It was so clear that customer experience was not a priority as the employees watched us, with hardly anything in hand, go back and forth between two registers under the false pretense of a faster checkout. read more

This Baton Rouge location seems larger than the one on Juban, but I won't be back. The cashier was very rude and it wasn't to just me. I've never experienced such rudeness at any Hobby Lobby before today. None the less I do very much love shopping at Hobby Lobby, they always have sales going on each week. You walk in with something in mind and come out with more. Simply because it's inspiring. I am sad though that they will be getting rid of the weekly 40% coupon at the end of February this year. read more

One of my favorite places to go! For Christmas they have a huge 50 percent off all Christmas decor sale. I came to get all my ornaments for our Christmas tree. They have tons of colors and themes for ornaments. I ended up getting a lot of ornaments for 50 dollars. I could spend hours here. Tons of decor for all your Christmas needs!! read more

Only ran into this location once so far, but like all Hobby Lobby's (in my opinion), this store is awesome. I love everything in this store and could spend hours perusing the aisles. So many sales and so many items from home decor to art supplies, crafts, picture frames, framed motivational quotes, custom framing, tons of holiday decor, great gift ideas (including religious/spiritual themed), fabric and other DIY needed items, etc. I know a lot of people also like Michael's, but for some reason I've just always been drawn to Hobby Lobby. Location is a big part of it, but I also find their sales are more frequent and they have a bigger selection. My most recent finds were Christmas light bulb earrings that actually light up, 50% off so $1.50...you can't beat that! It's nice to buy holiday stuff on sale before the holiday is actually over. ;-) This may go without saying, but yeah, Hobby Lobby is my absolute favorite store. :-) read more

The store's layout is the best I've seen at a Hobby Lobby with lots of short aisles allowing more traffic to flow, which is great for those of us who are claustrophobic! Their grand opening sales were standard 40% off the best part was that the store was FULLY STOCKED! Will definitely enjoy not driving across town to get to Hobby Lobby! read more

Managers didn't help with finding a previously matted and framed watercolor painting in the framing dept., so that I could purchased it using the cashier upfront. They said it had to be purchased in the framing dept., however there was only one clerk in that dept. and he was caught helping a couple who couldn't make up their minds on how they wanted their mat. It seems if a framing sales order was given to you with information carefully recorded about price and item into the system, a customer like myself, should be given the item and allowed to purchase at an open register. I had to leave without my framed artwork because of time constraints. read more

I have used Hobby Lobby in the past for framing needs, but will not use them again in the future. This morning I arrived as the store opened and received poor customer service in the framing department. The employee was unhelpful and the equipment needed for framing/mat cutting was broken. I was told it would be at least two weeks for framing despite offering to wait for the equipment repair or come back later today when the machine was fixed. Luckily, we have other great local framing stores nearby and after this frustrating experience, I took my artwork to Darryl and Sons and was very impressed with their service and prices.
