The prices were low but I needed to get the coins sold. His complaint as I left was that he was making very little per hour buying these coins. Today I went with a much better assortment and more expensive coins (proof sets from the mint, silver, etc.). He estimated several proof sets and uncirculated coins, one set was a silver set which I pulled back, he became upset and set he was not going to buy my stuff. I put my stuff back in the box. He was saying that he could not make a profit and cover the cost of his time. He should not still be in business if he can't offer a fair price and find the market to sell coins.

I don't think a single comic in the whole store was bagged and boarded. On top of that none of the issues were priced until checking out so you have no idea what you're going to pay. Sure these are all bad factors but what really made me leave this review is the horrific attitude that the shop owner gave us. He did not speak a word once we walked in, he was very rude when explaining how to look through his messy store, and there was a point where my buddy and I were looking through a long box while he was just standing in front of us watching. It was so uncomfortable, he even walked outside to watch us drive away.. I spent about an hour in this shop and had a decent pile of comics to purchase, but after receiving such terrible vibes from the owner, I decided to leave it all behind and not give a dime to this business. Usually I hate to give comic stores bad reviews as I hope to see all their businesses succeed, however.. this was the worst experience i've ever had! Don't waste your time in this messy store. It's impossible to walk through and the owner practically does not want you there!

So when I walked into Card Czar for the first time, it genuinely caught me off guard--in a good way. The layout alone is impressive. I've never seen a card store set up quite like it. Most shops are great for what they are, but they can feel a little like walking into a typical Ford or Chevy dealership--straightforward and functional. Walking into Card Czar felt more like stepping into a Porsche showroom. Everything is clean, organized, well-lit, and thoughtfully displayed. The lighting really stands out too. It's bright, inviting, and makes the entire place feel energetic without being overwhelming. What really blew me away was the selection. Individual cards, boxes from all kinds of brands, sealed cases, memorabilia--you name it. If it has anything to do with sports cards or collecting, chances are they have it there. And it's not just crammed into shelves either. Everything is laid out in a way that makes you actually want to take your time and look around. The staff are another big part of what makes the place special. Everyone is friendly and clearly knows the hobby well. The owner, Luke, has created a really fun environment for collectors. There's a huge screen TV, awesome memorabilia around the shop, and just a great overall vibe. It feels like a place where collectors actually want to hang out for a while, not just run in and buy something. I've been to plenty of sports card shows with multiple vendors over the years, and honestly this one place feels more impressive than a lot of them. If you're a collector, I'd absolutely recommend making the trip to Card Czar. It's worth the drive. The best way I can describe it is this: it's the Porsche of sports card emporiums. In a word--WOW!
