Where do I begin? I used to work for Wilson Sarkis when I was in high school (2004-2005). I…read moreorganized the proof albums and looked through all the photographs, in awe of his talent and eye for capturing the most beautiful moments on a couple's wedding day. I told myself, at age 18, when I get married Wilson will be my photographer... Fast forward to 2011, when my then-fiance now-husband proposed to me, the first call I made was to Wilson. I wanted to make sure he was available to photograph our wedding day as I had ensured in my head years prior. Thankfully, we picked a date that worked for all and hired him on the spot. When it came time for shooting, Wilson observed our personalities and made sure that that was evident in our photos. We had an engagement session that truly spoke to the nature of our relationship. Being quite sentimental, this meant a lot to me and my hubby. From the location to the poses, he directed us to look our best. When it came time to choose pictures for our album, he edited our photos to look as if you were standing with us in the park and city. They didn't look overdone or unnatural, which was also important to me. I hate seeing pictures that look as if they have been Photoshopped to the point that you're unrecognizable. Whatever I wanted done, I got his signature "you got it," which he always delivered as promised. On our wedding day, Wilson arrived on time, prepared, and professional, with all of his gear and a great attitude. He made me feel confident in my nervous moments, proud in my shy moments, and free to be myself as the blushing, happy bride. I never worried that he would miss a shot....and he didn't. Every detail was captured, every sincere moment, candids, you name it. When I got my wedding photos back, I cried. I re-live that beautiful day every time I see them. I am grateful and thankful for my job back in 2004 and for him taking away any unneeded stress on the day of our wedding. If you need a photographer for your wedding, check out his website for his wonderful work. Your photos will stand out and be cherished for a lifetime and beyond!

This is a market research company that matches qualified individuals with marketing studies. It's neat to get paid to give your opinion, and to be able to discuss it with other people. The office is a little tough to find but once you're inside, you'll find a reception desk and seating. They usually provide snacks before the study. Most studies I've participated in have taken place after 6pm, so if you work a 9-5 job but still want to share your opinion, give Cypher Research a call. It's definitely not a way to make guaranteed income, but it's nice to leave with a crisp $100 bill a couple times a year. The only reason they get four stars is because they'll send out emails looking for participants, then they don't answer their phones for several days. They could probably use a couple more people to field calls.

I received a phone call where I could ask questions about the process and receive information about the study and where the facility is located. The office is in an office building but it marked so it was easy to find. They study started on time and was very easy and exactly as described. It was a lot of fun to give my opinion and get paid for it. The compensation was very fair and immediate. Glad to have found a company near me that offers focus groups.
