They usually provide snacks before the study. Most studies I've participated in have taken place after 6pm, so if you work a 9-5 job but still want to share your opinion, give Cypher Research a call. It's definitely not a way to make guaranteed income, but it's nice to leave with a crisp $100 bill a couple times a year. The only reason they get four stars is because they'll send out emails looking for participants, then they don't answer their phones for several days. They could probably use a couple more people to field calls.

I received a phone call where I could ask questions about the process and receive information about the study and where the facility is located. The office is in an office building but it marked so it was easy to find. They study started on time and was very easy and exactly as described. It was a lot of fun to give my opinion and get paid for it. The compensation was very fair and immediate. Glad to have found a company near me that offers focus groups.
