I was really excited to try this place so I ordered a cinnamon roll and an iced coffee. They don't even have a coffee machine so the coffee came out if a plastic pitcher in the fridge. The cinnamon roll was cold, very stale, and it lacked flavor. I've had better cinnamon rolls at a run down gas station. If that wasn't bad enough, they didn't even have knives or forks so we had to use a spoon. Absolutely awful. They also have a big Beto sign on their front window, which is a huge turn off and a brain dead business decision. read more

I clicked on an advertisement from them, and the first thing I saw said "f*#% them", and a rainbow cake. I'm all for a rainbow cake, but not for putting down others and verbal aggression. I like that they have vegan and gluten-free options, but they are hit or miss on the taste. Even when you get the same items from week to week, the quality can vary. Their normal cupcakes are often on the dry side. It's a cute little place inside. The staff often seems cold to people based on their looks, which has always made me uncomfortable. My husband surprised me a with a bunch of goodies from this place after talking about it for so long (we live kind of far) and everything was INCREDIBLE. Went over to get GF cupcakes (which are amazing) for my mother-in-law and a cinnamon roll for my dad. The last time we got cinnamon rolls, they were incredible. Today, at least a week old- stale and not good at all. Super bummed, won't make the drive back over.... If anyone else knows of those kind of cinnamon rolls that are fresh- let us know! read more

The girl at the counter was so sweet. I got the caramel cupcake. She gave me a plastic fork. The icing was yummy but that was it. I could not penitrate the cupcake itself with the fork because it was that hard on the outside. The cake itself was rather dry and didn't taste as good as a box mix from the grocery store. I was a fan of Hive since they opened and supported the bakery a lot during the shut down and was a fan of Haley. I wanted a custom cake for my 50th and ordered it through email 5 months in advance. For over $450.00 I expected a better cake than what I received. The flavors were okay but it was the lack of detail that was disappointing. I sent a list of ideas and told Haley to have fun with it. I got a simple one themed cake was sloppy decorations. If you are going to have an album as a cake topper, make sure the entire name of the album is on it. The image was also pieced together. She should have also asked if the cake needed to be decorated 360 because I assumed it would be and it was not. I did complain and no responsibility taken and just excuses. This was a bit ago that I ordered it and wasn't going to post but still so disappointed on what was to be such a highlight of my birthday and I haven't been back since. read more

I was so excited to try this bakery and was immediately disappointed when I walked in close to opening on a Wed and there was ZERO pie. I had looked at the website and it was my understanding they sold pie by the slice. The owner told me they 'sometimes' have pie on the weekend. But I decided to buy a few things while there to try for my husband's birthday tonight. The cinnamon roll was AWFUL. Hard as a brick, super dry. I had to throw it away. The two types of bread pudding were not very good. The red velvet cupcake was mediocre. The lemon tart was very yummy. The oatmeal cream pie was yummy as well but would be better if the cookie portion was a bit softer. I wanted to love this place but we won't be back. read more

I just stopped by this adorable little shop for some treats for my team, then devoured what was by far the most delicious cookie I've ever eaten (salted caramel chocolate chip). I also grabbed some gorgeous cupcakes and am ordering a birthday cake for next month. LOVE this place, am so glad to have them in the community and will be a regular customer going forward. The Oatmeal Cream Pie cookies are the best in the entire world. Love their cinnamon rolls- both regular and vegan. We just ordered the best cake I have ever had. We ordered a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. It was expensive and WORTH EVERY PENNY. The cake was dense chocolate and the frosting was amazing. It tasted like a cross between the most delicious buttercream and whipped cream combined. I wish we lived closer so I could come by more often. Love Hive!! We have been twice on a wknd day for a treat - and they have amazing stuff. They also came in clutch for me when the woman I secured to make my sons bday cake bailed on me last minute. I called Hive the day before the party, and they got it done literally by 10am the next day! The kids at the party loved it (chocolate), and the adults came back for seconds!
