Great service, attentive, great menu!…read more Parking is limited, you may have to search around but it wasn't too hard to find something. This theater is connected to a tiny shopping center. Service was awesome! It was easy to order food, and had a server checking in with us respectfully during a movie. I think that's a hard thing to do, you've really got to know when to check in; kudos to them. Food is great portion wise! It would be great to separate alcohol & food menus. The alcohol dominates the menu, I don't drink so it was off putting to me. The theater is clean! The seats are worn out, my seat had the leather cracking. Not the biggest deal, but the small details matter; the more pressing issue is having a cup holder in between each seat. It makes sense when it's moving into the next section of paired seats, but it felt cramped & stiff unless I wasn't pulling up hard enough. All in all I'd recommend this spot! Dinner & a movie, big portions of food, and excellent customer service. It doesn't get any better unless it does!

For the price it can't be beat, what's better than having deliciously (and devilish) food dropped right in front of you mid movie? Nothing! The staff usually does a great job of not being in the way or interfearing with the guests to the side of you and they always let you know when last call is so you don't miss out on those last minute drinks or bites! The only thing i think they could improve on is the hallways and even some of the theaters permanently smell like old food. Not necessarily in a disgusting way but definitely noticeable.

They asked us what drinks we wanted when we got there because the mobile ordering system apparently tells them the sizes but not the actual drinks we ordered?!? It would have taken less time if we just ordered when we got there. The food and drink was just basic movie theater fare. Nothing fancy. The movie theater was good. The seats recline to almost flat. This is the place to suggest if you are being dragged to a movie you don't want to see. You can totally take a nap! Lol. Someone was having a medical emergency in the exit hallway when we tried to leave after the movie and, at first, we thought we were trapped. But the exit doors by the screen go to the parking lot and don't set off an alarm. All in all decent movie theater. But I prefer Alamo.

People raved…read moreabout the much needed upgrades, the squeaky clean theaters, and the sheer excitement of something new. Maintaining those standards from eight years ago seems like a near impossible task. But to say things are the same would be a lie. When I do go to the movies, which isn't often anymore, I come here with its close proximity to where I live. Is it bad? Far from it. Is it great? Far from it. It's as middle of the road as it gets. I feel like you can come here and not interact with a single person. And when you do interact with them, it's like talking to a brick wall. Blank stares, general nods, minimal words being spoken, it's very robotic and dystopian. There is zero enthusiasm and for god's sake it's just weird!!! Pros for me include being able to order an alcoholic beverage and take it into the theater. Just like I'm watching at home. We came here over the holidays to see the second Wicked movie. To their credit, the theater experience is relatively sound. Big rows, nice seats where you can put your feet up, cupholders all around, etc. Even though they put up promotional posters and cutouts of big names and blockbuster movies, it seems like this place is slowly becoming extinct. Is it theaters in general? When I go to Alamo it's more exciting than this! Harkins, this is a call. A call to spruce the place up and make going to the movies exciting again. I think you can do it!

4DX Review - Jurassic Franchise Continues…read more When I first heard about a new installment in the Jurassic Park franchise, the novice paleontologist in me was giddy like a schoolgirl. That excitement hit another level once tickets went on sale--she fully came out! This movie took a different turn than the previous ones, which I actually appreciated. It wasn't just the same old storyline rehashed. That said, it did have its share of slow scenes that didn't always lead anywhere. While the dinosaur action was fun to watch--and let's be real, that's why we're here--it still only made the grade of a solid C overall. Also, I really wish they had offered it in 4DX/IMAX. That combo would've made the experience much more immersive and thrilling.

Atmosphere: Watching Return of the King at Cinemark…read moreLakewood in D-Box was an incredible experience. The theater itself felt like a proper cinematic space, and the D-Box seating really heightened the movie. When the horses charged into battle or the war scenes began, it genuinely felt like you were riding alongside them. The movie being the extended edition made the four-hour runtime fly by it felt immersive and nostalgic at the same time. Price: Tickets were around $25-$30, slightly higher than normal because of the D-Box experience, but I absolutely think it was worth it for how much it enhanced the film. Food & Drinks: We bought the theater small bag of popcorn, which cost around $10-$12. The theater has standard food and drink options if you want to grab snacks there. Tips: The theater was a little cold, so I'm really glad I brought a blanket. I highly recommend doing the same, especially on a chilly day. If you can, check to see if your local theater offers D-Box seating it truly adds a next-level experience to battle scenes and action sequences. Overall Experience: As a longtime Lord of the Rings fan, this was an amazing, nostalgic experience. Seeing Return of the King again, especially in theaters with D-Box, made me feel like I was watching it for the first time all over again. The ending still brought tears to my eyes, and the extended edition made it feel like a full, immersive journey. If you have the chance, I'd highly recommend catching this 25th anniversary screening. Especially in D-Box. Truly unforgettable.

I ordered pretzel bites and was instantly handed a container. A bunch of us were waiting for drinks because the machine was out of ice. To fill the machine, the worker stood on the counter behind, which is where you get straws and napkins -- that HAS to be a health code violation. Then my pretzel bites were stale/freezer burned. I took them back and asked if I could swap for a small popcorn. The poor kids that work there were like deer in the headlights. They offered new pretzel bites, but if they're from the same box, why would they not be freezer burned too? I pleaded for popcorn. They said no because it's not the same price (popcorn is $1 more). I asked if I could have a discount on the popcorn or half a bag, and they said no because it's not the same price. Ironically, I am sure the replacement pretzel bites would have cost the theater more than a bag (or half bag) of popcorn. I didn't want to miss the start of my movie, so I gave up. Threw away the pretzel bites. Won't have snacks there again and definitely won't be on my top theater list! Great comfy seats. Extremely loud sound.

When you first walk in there is a restaurant/bar available if you get there early. This theater didn't look like it had too many screens, but I was in theater two. All of the chairs were the comfortable recliner chairs and each chair had its own table so you did not have to share a table. The staff was friendly like always and quick with the refills and taking orders. I like that they have the order cards on pen and paper during the movie and that you can always write down if another table is too loud on the piece of paper. All of the pricing looked the same as the other theater so it's good to know that they keep pricing the same across the board. Overall, I think this location was really nice and I would definitely go back if it's more convenient for my friends to go to this location.
