If you've seen one, you understand the basic experience, though to really get what's going on, you have to see them all and do a lot of wandering and research. Denver's Convergence Station is the largest of the Meow Wolf complexes (I think) at over 90K square feet. For timed entry and a drink, it cost over 60 dollars (flexible entry is more expensive). I actually had to go twice because I was so overwhelmed and missed a large portion of the venue, even staying like three hours. The art is awesome. Lots of mysteries. Phone booths where you can call multiple numbers and get various weird clues. A neon castle. Tunnels to crawl through. Lots of climbing up stairs too (they have elevators if needed). You can stop by a bar in the Japanese-inspired "city" to grab a regular or boozy drink to take around with you. Lots of places to explore. You can touch everything (make sure to sanitize after you leave). Multi-media and diverse textures everywhere. Bright lights. Weeeeiiiiirrrrddd stuff. Aliens. Monsters. Sometimes if you time it right, their real life alien characters will make their way through the installation. I don't think there is any way to see or understand this installation in just one visit (they offer annual passes by the way). And honestly, you have to see all the other Meow Wolfs to really get the big picture (but it doesn't hamper your enjoyment or delight if you haven't). I will say that this version of Meow Wolf is a little more winding and convoluted than other smaller venues. Things don't connect quite as well. But still a good time. Employees are all helpful and cheerful. You can make this into as much or as little of a day as you like. And it's 100 percent worth it.

We got the pass to do the interactive story and it was alright, there was definitely some filler and the videos were a bit long but some satisfying puzzling. We had done the Vegas Omega Mart Meow Wolf prior and loved it after figuring out to not get bogged down in the HEAVY amount of detail. Towards the end we kept getting lost trying to find some previous rooms we'd been in and ran out of time to finish completely but did have fun with the quest overall. One of our favorite accomplishments was the pizza rat side quest. We ran into a couple other groups also clearly working to figure things out and helped each other out. Would recommend and would budget a solid 6 hours +.

They greeted us immediately and gave us a map of the property. We had fun walking around and checking out the animals and historic buildings on site. It is wild this place is right in the middle of a neighborhood. The only issue we had was parking because we the lot is full you're out of options.

It is said that they unveil a brand new theme each year and this year's theme appears to be focused on some Eastern cultures such as cherry blossom and bamboo forest with pandas. Not that I have been to many lights shows and yet I must say that I have never seen anything quite like this as far as my recollection is accurate. In its 12-acre land, the installations of lantern lights are everywhere. After 8:30pm or so when it's dark, the illuminations from the lanterns are glowing brighter than Las Vegas' illuminations (LOL - why am I comparing this to Las Vegas!!) According to the park's website, some of the sculptures are 23-foot tall (such as the cherry blossom gate.) It's currently open from Wednesday through Sunday until October 5th. And last night's was one of the adult-only nights where you must be 21+ to enter (I believe the next and last such night is Sept 17th. And this writing is as of late August of 2025.) I am already curious as to what the next year's theme is going to be. There is a centralized bar, some food vendors, a stage where a performer performs, and a DJ booth. Great for family time, girls' night or date night. Helpful staff were working tirelessly to assist all visitors. Although about 1,300 tickets were sold last night, it was never super jammed packed. There is still time to visit this enchanting light show. Not only for the locals but definitely one of the must-visit attractions for out-of-staters as well.

The outside is unassuming and the interior seems kind of small (ba dum tish) but Neil welcomed us and helped us to see the beauty in the details. I went with my husband and teenager, and even the teen found things to love. It's free and you get a free bag of shredded money in the amount of $165, which makes a great souvenir. Take note of their hours: only open on weekdays from 9:30am - 4:00pm. This was our last stop in Denver and it didn't take more than 15 minutes. This is a great alternative to the US Mint. We were not able to get the free tickets to the US Mint, since we were in town during Christmas break and by the time we arrived all the tickets were gone :( The Money Museum is simple and quick. There's no souvenir shop here, but like I said, you get a cool free bag of shredded money :) It's only a slight detour away from 16th Street Mall, plus there's a free 16th Street Mall bus shuttle, so it's super convenient and accessible. What do you do with kids on an extra cold night? Let's go to the aquarium that we have yet to visit…read moredespite living in Denver for ages now. Due to the cold, no lines for tickets. Great indoor activity. Fairly empty inside. Perfect evening. Prices are steep for parking and admission. It's a one and done activity for us. But it was worth the experience! We spent almost two hours there, taking our time to admire and learn. We really enjoyed seeing all the beautiful sea creatures - all varieties of fish large and small, sharks, jellyfish, stingrays (which you can pet at the end), two random tigers (not expecting that at an aquarium), turtles, snakes, lizards, frogs, etc. Only negative from our outing was the guy in the ticket booth. We brought out of town friends with us and it was freezing outside. He could see that we had kids and were all super cold. It would've been kind if he had said we could just go inside and wait for the husbands to come in with the wrist bands. As it turns out we just ran inside anyway to wait for them, but not very good customer service.

It's a fun way to spend 90 minutes to 120 minutes based on your fascination level and how many people are with you to indulge. For about $50 to 60 a person if I recall, you can go nuts doing selfies within a number of themed sets and installed art stages. There are selfie tripods set up for each set with the adequate lighting to take shots of yourself to show off to your friends, fuel your vanity, and just have a bit of amusement and fun. Each of the sets and art installations are different theme-wise such as the bathtub and dressing room sets, the psychedelic landscapes with Jim Henson-like plush animals, surreal backgrounds, gym-like settings with punching bags, food-centric backdrops, fake advertising murals, and more. You have to love taking selfies to spend the money for a couple of hours. Additionally, they have an escape room if you have some friends who may be inclined and get selfied out.
