The atmosphere was cozy but did not feel crowded or overwhelming, even though every table was taken by diners. The chef kindly explained each dish to us in detail, including the fact that almost all of their dishes could be made vegan (even if they were listed as vegetarian). As a vegan, I was thrilled to have that many options for dinner! The food was outstanding. I was skeptical about the creamed celery soup (how good could celery be as the basis of a soup?), but it was so comforting and tasted amazing. I wish I'd ordered another bowl! The burger was delicious as well, as was the pizza. I would happily go back to eat at Olive in a heartbeat, if I'm ever in Innsbruck again!

But after multiple visits, I'm still lukewarm on the place. We've made the mistake of wandering in without a reservation, only to be given attitude (despite the fact that there were plenty of available tables). We've experienced service so slow that we had to go actively looking for the waitress (who is also the cook, owner, and sole person on staff as far as I can tell) to beg for the privilege of buying another round of drinks. In short, while on some visits I feel quite welcome, on others I feel more like a nuisance, which is not really how I want to feel in a restaurant. If you're a vegetarian who finds herself in Munich, Vegelangelo is worth a visit, but only if you are in the mood to be patient over what could end up being a very slow meal.

It's a vegan and vegetarian cafe that serves nice food and a brunch buffet on Sunday. The owners are from Anatolia region of Turkey and the food is prepared in this style. There is a nice selection of cakes and pastries at the counter including Turkish desserts like baklava and others. They make most things in house. The brunch buffet is quite inexpensive at €9 and it was more or less full when I got there. Eggs baked in tomatoes, cous cous, dolmades, soup, fruit, breads and many other items on the brunch buffet. I loved the flavours and enjoyed the dishes very much. A great choice for delicious vegetarian and vegan food in Munich. Glad I tried it and will be back again for a meal. It's no frills but nice and tasty home cooked food for a reasonable price. The atmosphere is eclectic and the owners very nice people.

It's a casual setting and has almost every vegan baked good. I speak zero German, only English. The woman working barely spoke English, but we made it work! She was very nice and even through our language barrier she recommended some delicious treats for me! I highly recommend the donuts (they're filled to the brim!) and the baklava. The baklava at Umi's was better than any I've ever had in my life! I'm thankful for this little bakery. It made my trip in Munich so nice and tasty! Be sure to bring at least €25 -- I'm sure you'll use all of it on fun treats at Umi's!

We knew about the cat cafe from some pre vacation research. We were excited to find that they were open and serving food when we arrived. All the cats were napping when we arrived but soon five of them would be up and about playing and exploring. They were investigating a paper bag we had from the Nespresso shop so I emptied it out and let them play with it. We got a burger and pulled BBQ sandwich. The food excellent, a smoked paprika Paw print were decorating each plate. Unfortunately we didn't have room for desert. The service was excellent and whether or not you're a cat lover or if you are or are not vegan, Katzentempel is an awesome option for something different in Munich!
