You can tell every piece of furniture is carefully chosen to give the feeling of a second home, and each dish is lovingly created. For example, our earthy and addictive soy milk cappuccinos came out with different milk leaves, and the menus are cutely printed on large playing cards. As for the dishes: - Tofu scramble - this is delicious and satisfying as a meal. The spices and flavoring are perfect and I am determined to replicate this when I get home! It is almost indistinguishable from scrambled eggs. The breads are also tasty and feel healthy. - Chia seed pudding - this is refreshing and the raspberry works well with the unique texture that chia seed creates. Again, tasty and addictive. I'm excited to see where this place goes, and I regret not being able to try more dishes. My sister and I both enjoyed this place, as omnivores who needed a break from the heavy meat and carby dishes we were eating in Austria. I was lucky to meet the inspiring founders of Cafe Gratitude in August at a raw food workshop and from what I know, they planned to come back soon, it's a workshop worth attending for all those interested in joining the Cafe Gratitude community. Back in August, Cafe Gratitude Munich was just in plan, now it's a very nice reality and it's one of the places where I could stay all day long, it's part of my favourite cosy homey places in Munich.
