It's quite small compared to the Spars in the bigger cities and villages. I've never had a problem finding anything in the store. Just a smaller selection of products compared to your bigger stores. The store is very clean , very friendly staff and not from the center of Kössen. It is located right beside the Tourism Office and near the Kössen Fire Station. You can see signs in the Village that state where the Spar is located. I highly recommend the amazing cafe in the store. Great selection of breads, Coffee, Desserts and cold drinks. The staff that maintain the Cafe are all very friendly and take a lot of pride in their work. Great place for breakfast, lunch and afternoon drinks. You won't be disappointed by your visit to both the store and cafe. It should be noted I am originally from Dublin, Ireland, lived in the United States Of America for over thirty years and served all over the world with the United States Marines. I definitely know a Great Super Market and Cafe from all my Travels around the world and life experiences. The super market and cafe rates five stars and more! The beer supply here was a bit lacking, but they had a few cold ones available on the cheap. The food selection goes towards the luxury way instead of cheap stuff. But the selection was great, with a deli and a wine part. They had premade foods and snacks available. The aisles were pretty narrow, and the merchandise was stacked to the low ceilings, but the place was well lit. The lines were long, but they moved quickly through a self-checkout system. I managed to get a few local beers on the cheap here! Prost!

On one of my Frankfurt airport transits I had a discovered a similar market so it looks like have a supermarket in German airports for the convenience of the passengers is an excellent idea. The most surprising factor though is that the pricing at this supermarket is extremely reasonable and they are not scamming passengers out of cash by charging double and triple pricing which most businesses associated with an airport do. We were able to buy excellent chocolates at reasonable prices compared to the same chocolates selling a few hundred feet away in duty free at triple the price. 5 stars all the way wish other airports adopted a similar concept.
