But the selection was great, with a deli and a wine part. They had premade foods and snacks available. The aisles were pretty narrow, and the merchandise was stacked to the low ceilings, but the place was well lit. The lines were long, but they moved quickly through a self-checkout system. I managed to get a few local beers on the cheap here! Prost!

On one of my Frankfurt airport transits I had a discovered a similar market so it looks like have a supermarket in German airports for the convenience of the passengers is an excellent idea. The most surprising factor though is that the pricing at this supermarket is extremely reasonable and they are not scamming passengers out of cash by charging double and triple pricing which most businesses associated with an airport do. We were able to buy excellent chocolates at reasonable prices compared to the same chocolates selling a few hundred feet away in duty free at triple the price. 5 stars all the way wish other airports adopted a similar concept.
