Dr. Brian Bae is my favorite dentist. I was terrified of dentists for most of my life, and after a traumatic dental appointment somewhere else, I avoided going for a while. It took an abscessed tooth and a lot of pain to finally get me back in. My mom got his information from a friend, and I gave them a call. Since getting the care I needed, I have not had any cavities. After years of being told by another dentist that I needed a lot of work, it was a huge relief to find out things were not nearly as bad as I had been led to believe. Dr. Bae and his staff showed compassion from the very first phone call and before my first appointment. I have received more attentive care here than anywhere else. My anxiety has gone down tremendously because Dr. Bae and his staff truly understand my fear. I do not live in the area, but I will go out of my way for HiQ Dental. read more

If I could leave a negative star review I would. All of the dental work that I have had done by Dr.Bae has had to be redone by another dentist. I have had cavity fillings pop out, spread of cavities because of improper fillings, and infections on root canals because of improper procedures. I have had to spend more money fixing the work I have got done at HiQ. They also claimed X-rays to my insurance that they have no record of when I asked for them to send those X-rays to me. Very suspicious activity in this dental office. They are very nice and attentive so I will give them that! I would not recommend them to any of my family or friends. read more

HIQ dental is one of the first dental offices that opened in the Carrollton area and I've been going here ever since. Dr.Bae and his staff always do an amazing job at making me feel welcomed. Dr. Bae is a very skilled dentist who really cares about my teeth and always does above and beyond. He always answers my questions and makes sure I don't have any concerns. He also gives me tips on tooth care every time I go. I have always had a great impression of Dr. Bae. I also love all the friendly hygienists who clean my teeth every 6 months. I used to be scared of getting my teeth cleaned but they do it so smoothly without pain. They are all really nice and take their time to talk to me and make me feel comfortable. I did my regular teeth cleaning and check-ups here when I still lived in the Dallas area. Even though the clinic's patients are primarily Korean speakers, the receptionist, hygienist, and dentist (Dr. Bae) all speak English. HiQ Dental is my family's favorite go-to dental office. I've been to different dental offices, and HiQ is the most reliable and trustworthy one I've been to. I used to stray away to find deals at different dental offices, but I always found myself going back to HiQ Dental. The dental service here is superb and honest. Every time I get my teeth cleaning done, I feel like I'm walking out with a brand new set of teeth. My teeth feel so clean afterwards, they don't feel like mine. I walk out smiling like I'm in a Orbit Gum commercial. The staff and hygienists are all very friendly, and Dr. Bae is a very straight forward easygoing person. He'll tell you straight out if you're not taking good care of your teeth; beware your teeth doesn't lie. For every appointment, it's my teeth is going in for a confession; scary at first but relieved after. He tells you if he sees any problems with your teeth, and gives you the best solution to fix the problem. Lucky I haven't had any major problems so far. Didn't matter they took me in and helped me and did everything as if I had a previous appointment with them.. Bad bad bad... my crown was little broke in the middle and thought that was the problem for hurting.. so I went here for replace ... after took the x ray I believe his name was Brian , he said I have 3 cavity and Inflammation , and dental nerve treatment. . But the thing is that crown was the one bother me not the other ..instead of helping me the one most I needed he came up with all of those that wasn't my first... and he estimate the amount and came upto 3400$ he didn't care about what was bothering n hurting me.. Now here is the funny thing after I got out I went to the other dentist which is around the corner of same mall called eversmile , I was surprise that he tested some to my teeth don't know what it called.. to test if my teeth is ok.. and then tell me that my crown wasn't broke was just scratch and the problem was the inflammation which is under the tooth..after he explain , now I understand what was the problem and what made me hurt... hiq dental didn't test ,just took a xray and he say it was the nerve that I needed to fix...had pay 45 for xray fee and got out so mad...the Eversmile charge me 30... and recommend to the specialist .... goto eversmile , perfesonal and nicer... no zero star.. Dr. Bae is a great dentist! I recommend this place. My parents both go to HiQ Dental and they recommended me to go here. He listens to his patients and genuinely cares. He is also honest (as we all know, some dentists are not), but Dr. Bae will tell you like it is. The staff including receptionist staff, tech, and hygienist are nice too. He also speaks both English and Korean fluently. My mom loves him because he answers all questions that she has. When she called him to ask questions regarding my condition, Dr. Bae was nothing but so informative and nice. HiQ Dental will be the only place I will go from now on. read more

I was looking for a good dentist office in my area and searched on yelp and found this review on a particular dentist. I read the review and was impressed with what they had to say. Without knowing what type of work my son needed done I called and made the appointment. To my surprise it was everything Paul said it would be. I found out he had to have a root canal and normally would have been worried from all the horror stories I heard but Dr. Bae performed them and my son did not have any problems, was in no pain, and was able to eat a couple of hours later. For my 400th review, I wanted to experience and share something special, and what is more special than getting wisdom teeth removed? I came here twice - got two wisdom teeth removed each time two weeks apart, with just localized anesthesia. It was probably as pleasant as wisdom teeth extraction can be. Dr. Bae is a Korean American who graduated from Baylor Dental. He has all the latest in technology - TV screens that by default are showing Korean Dramas, but can be switched to anything you request, including before and after pictures of your teeth, an electric pick, and he wears what appears to be very expensive googles, that also help him see through walls and in the dark. He has great bedside manners, obviously speaks perfect English (and Korean), and has assistants that do the same. He also cleaned my teeth and filled a few more for good measure - the cleaning removing coffee stains that Pure Dental decided to just leave. The best part of it - I don't have dental insurance (just a crappy discount dental plan), where I was getting quotes for $400 a tooth. Hi-Q only charged me like $200 per tooth. Don't be intimidated by their Korean website or storefront - they are obviously targeting Koreans but serve everyone well, and I couldn't recommend them more. I didn't even take any pain killers - 1-2 tylenol, each time, and there were absolutely no complications. Can't sing Hi-Q's praises enough, and although it's a huge pain to drive up to Carrollton, your right next to H-mart, so you can pick up some really fresh, cheap seafood and fruit. read more

Dr. Bae is really good. He has great equipment and communicates well to help patient understand what he's doing, recommendations and healing process. My family member went here for a tooth extraction and had a great experience. We will definitely be going back for future needs as well as recommending him to others. read more

I cannot even share enough good story about HiQ dental. This place is just AWESOME! It has been a while since i became their patient, but i did not get a chance to write a review for this amazing place. So, here you go. First of all, very friendly staff and incredibly comfortable environment during the procedure. The facility was very clean and nice. i did my wisdom teeth removal and minor/major fillings for my tooth decay. who doesn't get dentist anxiety? Oh well, I do! i was pretty nervous about getting my wisdom tooth extracted and fillings, but seriously Dr. Bae did a PERFECT JOB, not only removing my wisdom tooth without a bit of pain but also those fillings never bothered me/ had problems until now. I would definitely go back for my dental service. Thanks Dr. Bae! Also, before every appointment, Hiq dental reminded me with a friendly text reminder (which i think it's very convenient and nice way to remind patient).
